OK so no matter what I try with Nova launcher, the g's and y's and j's etc. have the bottom clipped off in the icon names in the app drawer. Even when the grid size is set to minimum. Selecting smaller icons prevents this, but then all my icons are too small everywhere.
Anyone know how to fix this most basic and obvious of problems?
Reinstall app? Change app dpi?

could your dock drawer height setting be off? or icon size?

For anyone who has used MIUI you will know what I am asking for, looking for a launcher that displays only 4 icons on the dock.
Most use 3 or 5 icons. I know touchwiz can use 4 but no proper touchwiz launcher for defy screen size.
Ephumuris.
You could use LauncherPro and create a fake dock and then a transparent icon on top. It's not the best way, but it is a temporary solution.

or Zeam launcher, remove app drawer icon and then you left with 4 icons

Maybe you can help me and help yourself.
I was just wondering if there was a way to change all of the app icons through the theme feature on ADW launcher? I've applied a theme and some of the icons have changed, but I want to change the remaining apps with the provided icon pack in the app drawer. Every time I change an icon on the home screen, it doesn't change in the app drawer.
Just wondering if there was a method?

Hi. I am currently using nova launcher with aokp 25.
My question is are there any apps/launchers that allow changing grid size for multiple screens?
For example I want one screen to have a grid side of 5x5 and another of 5x4.
Any ideas?

Does anyone know of a launcher without home screens (just the app drawer) that is compatible with the nexus 7?
I`ve used mihome on my galaxy Ace and somehow it is incompatible. I'm not an apple fanboy but i just like my devices to go to the app drawer immediately.
Any tips? Thanks.

Why don't you just add the apps to your homescreen? Using Apex and setting your columns and rows to 10X10 you should be able to fit a bunch on your homescreen.

Have a large grid and put everything on the home screen. And when you install apps from the play store they'll just be added to the home screen.

*face-palm*
Why Didn't I Think of That? lol. Thanks for the tips!:highfive:
ssLauncher. Put anything on your home scrreen. Has an "app drawer" page that can be list or grid. Can hide any apps in app drawer. Can delete all your other screens. Can place icons anywhere (no grid) with auto align feature. Got it "free" with my play money, but well worth $3.69, try the free version first.
I'm currently using Nova on my Galaxy, and I'd like to know how I could remove the alarm clock info, the taskbar(if could make it transparent that would be fine also), the T-Mobile text (it doesn't show in the picture, but it's there), and the way when I pull down it shows that useless box/outline. I'd prefer to keep Nova as well. I don't want anything on my lock screen.

Are you rooted?

Nova doesn't control the lockscreen at all, look in the system settings for lockscreen options. And if your ROM supports transparent notification's bar then under Nova settings (May be a Nova Prime only feature) there should be an option for transparent notification bar support.
Yes, I'm rooted.

There's no in system lock screen option to make it transparent, or at least I can't find it. In nova there is, but it only makes it transparent in the home screen, not lock screen.
