For anyone who has used MIUI you will know what I am asking for, looking for a launcher that displays only 4 icons on the dock.
Most use 3 or 5 icons. I know touchwiz can use 4 but no proper touchwiz launcher for defy screen size.
Ephumuris.
You could use LauncherPro and create a fake dock and then a transparent icon on top. It's not the best way, but it is a temporary solution.

I use launcher pro and not adw, cus I want the scrollable dock and to be able to choose how many home screans I have. But now I want "theme" my quick search bar but I can't find any way to do that unless I use adw and use a theme......I guess what I want is to be able to have a themed search bar in launcher pro.
Soloutions?

Can anyone tell me if there is a Mod to change the bottom bar on the evo. I am running fresh but I want the bottom menu bar to be separate. Please let me know.
Just download a new launcher, such as adw or launcher pro. Launcher pro is awesome, imo

Well I would like to be able to keep all my icons and clock widget. is there not another way of doing this?
Gi Guys,
I am looking for a launcher that resembles the iphone homescreen. So you have all your apps and ONLY apps on your homescreen like touchwiz but without the widget screen, cause i don't use widgets too often. I think the iphone launcher isn't too complicated to resemble because it is so simple.
PS: I have tried MIUI already but it doesn't sort icons properly on the left upper corner :-/

I love this Strongsteve odex blue ROM and have been tweaking it for a couple of weeks.
Is it possible to keep the 5 icon dock but switch the app drawer to 4X4? The app drawer just looks a little too busy to me with a 5X5 setup.
Thank in advance to anyone who might know how to do this.
Not that I have seen. Its one or the other. Sorry.!

The workaround I found was to use launcher pro (This preserves all of the blue icons in Strongsteves ROM) and the only difference is the app drawer scrolls vertically. But I keep the 5 icon dock and get a 4X4 app drawer.
I am happy with this workarpound. Life is good

I use launcher pro and my drawer scrolls horizontally. check your setting, i dont prefer vertical anymore lol
There is a zip linked in the original post on the ROM thread that will switch the TW back to the regular method.
That should do exactly what you need!
I bought Transparent Launcher Premium, thinking that it would do it for me. Unfortunately though, it lacks many basic features that I think the developer should have implemented. There is no way to search for an application by name to make it a transparent widget (you have to scroll through all your apps in non alphabetical order), and you cannot make multiple transparent widgets for your app icons (has to be 1 by 1). Lastly, with my Note 2 I can't even have a 1x1 transparent widget, only 2x2. So please guys, any other viable options out there? I like to have a nice wallpaper to look at with most of the apps that I use still on my homescreen.
PS sorry for the rant :silly:
Lightning launcher has the ability to make icons and widgets transparent.

Thanks for the reply. I do not want to switch my home lunched though. I'm a firm believer that most big things on a phone should be stock... runs smoother.
