WM 6.1 RUS by AlekSS
Forgive for my bad English.
This ROM is based "Rose" with include russian and english langs, eT9 rus & english by me .
For install just run RUU_Excalibur_6.1_rus_by_AlekSS.exe.

Is it in English when you first install? If not how hard is it to change without a translator around?
I'm always up for trying something new.

No, it's Russian. Go to "Все настройки" on homescreen, or menu "Пуск", "Настройка". In this menu- submenu "Язык и Стандарты" and select English.
Some programms in this ROM is russian, without english, because i'm translate it's and make this ROM for myself .

someone should post and stick a thread with all the different language 6.1 roms.theres always ppl making new thread searching for a specif language rom

Contact Mikey and ask if he can update the WM6.1 Noobs Guide? With the Russian ROM the custom ROMs are listed there.

I make my ROM from original 'Rose' ROM, somthing include and exclude. I never install nrgs rom, therefore I can't to compare.

nrg did the same thing with the rose rom i was just saying it looks the same

I'm understand you. Original 'Rose' ROM haven't mods, therefore i think roms, based this ROM looks equally.

Mmmm installed the ROM and seems a fast ROM Thanks to AlexSS!! but i cant get Wi-Fi on this ROM Anyone having the same issue?

Just find file WiFiInit.lnk in Windows folder and copy in Startup folder. I'm exclude them from startup.

Q: How to install my native Language?
A: Just download the cab above for your native Language, copy it to your TP2, install it on device and reset, after that you can delete the Cab.
Q. Can I uninstall the Language Pack?
A: Yes, goto system settings and remove it, reset device and this makes it reverse to WWE.
Q: Bad or missing Translation?
A: Sorry, I pick the Manila Lang files somewhere in this forum and I am not sure that all Langs are 100% well translated, and as you can imagine I dont speak that many Languages.
Q: Will this work on Manila 2.0 or 2.5?
A: I have no idea, but I think the answer is NO.
Q: I Found the full language pack for all languages, why not install everything?
A: The full pack of manila files can be installed with no problem, but will create on your device windows folder more or less 500 files (7 Mb), and this will make your device slow. If you install your native single Cab this will copy only 36 files (300K)
Q: What about WM 6.5, is it translated too?
A: NO, this is only for Manila Sense 2.1, WM 6.5 stays in WWE.

No polaris, I made without polaris because polaris is not exactly stable.

strange with the old firmware worked fine ... Polaris will not come out with stable?

Buddy shp on s8530xpjk1 makes the phone laggy and when u sign in yahoo the phone hangs for atleast 2 mins.... so its not stable either

well polaris on s8500xpjk work fine for me so only Wave 2 have this problem im think

can you make this version with Polaris please because im have some XPKJK1 firmware but Social Hub problem Polaris on my S8500 no lag for me

Arabic and Persian and other RTL (right to left) languages aren't supported by wp...yet...
cause you know it's rtl...not ltr...so...it makes a lot of difference...
although we have keyboard for writing both persian and arabic...and we have web browser to fix our IE problem with rtl languages....but...full support...not yet...(maybe in wp8 )

SM-N975U1 Change to EU Help

Hi everyone.
I have bought from eBay(Israel) an Sm-N975u1.
On first boot languages was limited and no Greek on it. So I choose it later at setting. But settings menu remains on English whatever I've tried to switch it to Greek. Do you know any firmware compatible to my N975u1 has Greek from the start?

nope.. u purchased a usa model.. if u wanted greek u shoukd of got one in ur region

Hi,
My phone was bought in Israel (not ebay) and I think it has greek language interface. Try the following steps:
1. Open Settings and search for Language and Input settings
2. Press first option Language
3. Press Add language
4. Scroll down to greek
See attached pics. Hope this helps. If it is a US model, then you'll probably won't find greek language interface in list.

I have done this. It has Greek Language interface b, but it's half translated. All settings menu is in English. Maybe I will try some locale software to check what is done

the EU software won't work with a US phone unfortunately, the phones are as different as you can get on the same phone as they on entirely different chips, so the software for Europe will all be for the Exynos phones and the US phone is a Snapdragon and their software is keyed to that, so unless you can find a region with Snapdragon and speaks Greek you are unlikely to find any hardware that will work for you.
it's the unfortunate fact of a device that is considerably different across different regions, so you would likely need a custom firmware with Greek added but I'm not sure that is even possible as the Snapdragon phones are more locked down.

Maybe N975w firmware contains Greek Language Completely?

probably not as it's Canadian. really on a phone from the Americas best you can likely hope on Euro languages is French, Spanish and Portuguese as those languages are quite common over there. but unfortunately I can't think of a country outside Greece that uses Greek as a main language.

Maybe the XAA firmware will have Greek language better integrated.
