I have flash cm 6 and some htc sense rom before.
The main different is cm6 can be 5xx mb ram,htc sense just 43x mb ram.
Is it possible to have 5xx ram on htc sense rom?
Anyone can teach me how to delete some rubbish to increase ram?

I think you'll find the ram hog is the bling that makes up sense, you could try uninstalling all your Widgets but personally I think you have to accept sense is a ram hog.
Sense is more RAM hungry but in a device with so much RAM who really cares?

Let me rephrase that :
The memory difference between Cyanogenmod ROM and HTC Sense ROM is Sense itself. It's the Sense UI which uses memory the OP wants to get. So it's either Sense, or Cyanogenmod. There is no way to have Cyanogenmod memory usage with HTC Sense running.

I'm looking for stable Sense ROM which won't eat all RAM after few days without restarting :/
(And won't restart HTC Sense each time I push Home button because there is 30MB RAM left...)

could do with a couple more details of what your looking for ideally....but from a simple search for desire ROMs with Sense on you could try these:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=726300
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=790066
I've searched for an answer or comparison on the internet, but I can't seem to find one.
The long-ish story
Yesterday I took my first leap into the ROM world by installing Cyanogen 7.03. It rocked and I loved it. However, as with the main problems of the Wildfire, the space got to me. I wanted the ability to move all my apps to the SD, as I was able to do using Ruymanca 7.1 and the a2sd cachesd u command. Now I'm on Ruymanca with a mere 30MB of internal space being used, and 70 apps in. However, I don't know anything about Ruymanca. I do know more about Cyanogen. Cyanogen is the name, in my opinion, for famous/well used ROMs. I never heard of Ruymanca, but I like the SD Card use.
Has Cyanogen 7.03 got the same ability to push all my apps and system, basically, to the SD using the above command? I know they are both very similar, but instead of moving to CM7 again and losing my SD ability, can I do it?
Finally, are CM's more common and frequent than Ruymanca ROMs? Which should I be on? I want SPEED and SPACE!
Tl;dr
CM7 vs Ruymanca for speed and A2SD (# a2sd cachesd u) - which one? Can they both do it?
In CM7 go to CM settings and Applications.
You can set it there.
I didn't do any of the ext (or w/e) **** and I can move anything to the sd card
Thank you for the reply!
But when I had CM7 installed and that box checked, the internal space dropped majorly. It was half eaten within a couple of apps. Why would this be?
Well, I've got no problem.
Try using Apps2sd app to move them and to see which occupy a lot of space.
That's great.
How many apps are you on? How much (internal) space are you on now?
I've got about 50 apps and 90 mb of free memory.
(if you put widgets on the sd card, you can't place them on the desktop tho)
99 applications, 175MB total space/131MB free. Good or bad?
(Four apps are on the phone: SetCPU, Memory Killer, a widget and one other)
Do you think I should return to Cyanogen then? Is there anything that Cyanogen has that others (Ruymanca) don't have? And, are the updates more frequent/stable?
As said, it's all about speed and space for me.
That's great.

Sense based roms = roms with htc sense = similar to stock roms.
And htc sense is a user interface with htc widgets. But it has fewer customization options than custom UIs.

They've got the same base, it would appear. All using Cyanongen base. Seems to be the same type to be honest, but Ruymanca has LauncherPro vs. ADW in CM7.
Major difference seems to be the heavily stripped rom and the A2SD.
I've put CM7 back on now, and tried S2E to give it a go, and benchmark/compare overclocking. It seems slightly slower, and I'm on 710, as 761 is apparently a bit hit and miss.

I've taken a look there. Nice!
However, I see it's on Froyo. Any reason why Froyo on yours is better than Gingerbread?
Give me the sales pitch!
Ok i want to find a fast sense 2.1 i reverted to a stock sense rom but w gb mainly b/c it allowed more memory b/c the 2.1 sense roms would leave about 430/760 some-odd mb which is not enough for my apps and moving to sd makes it harder for them to appear on the phone so i need a rom thats fast and will have much more than 430 some mb's of storage

Ok, so I've tried a couple sense roms on my g2 and run into a constant issue. Whenever I use the browser and switch to different app the browser closes all the windows except the last page I was on. Is this normal or is there a setting to keep all the windows open?

Thats because sense ROMs lack multitasking, multitasking uses RAM, and sense ROMs eats RAM so it eats multitasking... The only way to solve it is to make a SWAP partition on you sdcard... This makes a part of your sdcard working as RAM... Thus enabling multitasking (i made it today, works great)

I think Sense browser just discards all tabs by default, even on Sense 2.1 and 100mb+ free RAM.

I was wondering if this happened in Virtuous Sense for you.

Riro, you really need to actually judge sense based off Sense 2.1 or Virtuous Sense. Sense 3.0 or 3.5 was never meant to be run on the g2/dz.
It's like running a computer that runs ok on windows xp but does not meet the requirement for windows 7. even if you get windows 7 on it, you wont get the experience you would have if your machine meets that spec.
I have over 100mb of ram constantly on virtuous sense and that's the standard that you need to base it off, not sense 3 or 3.5.

oops... i should have said, "sense 3.x lacks multitasking while running on our device"
EDIT: ok, i'm on virtuous sense 2, and i'm switching between the stock browser, and tapatalk... And the windows doesn't dissappear... Although i applied the v6 supercharger script... But i don't think it matters much... Maybe after partitioning the sdcard, it would solve the OP's problem... But i'm clean

Greetings every one and happy new year to all members and devs
Is it possible to compile sense with some cyanogenmod features? like the most important one is the A2SD the one that u can move application to sd card it exist on CM but on sense no and im a big fan of cyanogenmod but i also find sense stylish and cool but i think 1.2 gb isnt enough for applications and games because some.games cant be moved to sd on sense but On CM it Can and thats what makes CM the best along with great features that dont exist on sense. so what im suggesting here that if we can mix some features from CM With The Sense UI if thats not possible how about just A2SD to Sense? i think a lot of people who hate sense will love an A2SD features and maybe return as a sense user.
ive tried the leedroid a2sd its just gave me 512 Mb its too low i need minimum a 2 gb of app storage on sd. can anyone suggest something? or can any dev help out?
Thanks To All Who Take This Seriously
I have seen sense roms with the a2sd option. It just depends on whether or not the dev wants to add it. I don't recall with any certainty which ones I've seen it on though.
