"SPRINT CDMA HERO"?
I Heard Bigger Than 8GB Won't Work!! I Don't See Why Not?
Does Anyone Know If It Works Or Not, Please Let Me Know.....
Thanx!!

I know that the mytouch 4g is able to support up to a 32gb microSD card (just ordered one from newegg.com), so perhaps checking with the manufacturer or the carrier to find out the maximum size microsd your card can support.

it's nothing to do with carrier but you can find the limit it supports in the manufacturers specs, however it is not always like that... as the limitation for HTC universal was 2 gb and with great devs here we were able to use card up to 16gb... so ask fellow XDAINS than the manufacturers... and since your device is pretty new model you should be able 32 gb....
Said there are 32gb sd card, but I got one 16 micro sd card.
Thanx Everyone For Your Help!!

Use an 32GB Class 2 SanDisk for my Android HD2. Can't argue (for Class 2): 6MB Write, 15 MB Read.
2TB is the biggest ive seen!
I was thinking about upgading my wimpy 2gb microsd card and was wondering if a Sandisk 8gb microsdhc class four is compatible with the Incredible.
Thanks!
Absolutely...before you move anything to the new card format it in the phone.

Not to hijack but what's the Largest SD card you can run in the Incredible?
I thought I read someone ran a 32Gb but there was a hitch to doing it?
My 8Gb is about maxed out!
I have a 32 gb in mine. Works fine.

Dang! You maxed it out? I've been running on the 2gb one that came free with mine. Speaking of which, it has no class on it. Does anyone know what class it is?

Stock is somewhere around a class 6 I think... it may vary though. Mine was class 6...
Right now I'm running a 32GB Class 2, it runs great! Not even slow, honestly. It's a SanDisk. Don't be tempted by the cheap Kingston 32GB cards. They're scammy ****. I got one, luckily it was through a reasonable seller who refunded me.If you go for a 32GB, I recommend SanDisk. Buy it through Amazon, it should be about 80 USD.

I would think the stock card would be class 2. But mine didn't come with one. I had to buy one seperate when I bought it. I have a 8GB SanDisk class 2. And its plenty fast. Best to use a SD card reader for the best speed.
I just bought a new SD card for my camera (Canon T3i) and went with a 16GB SanDisk Class 4, and it can handle full 1080P video without filling the camera buffer at all. The class is actually the minimum speed it will write at. The Max is usually much higher. At least with the good cards.

Yeah, my stock 2Gb was a Class 2.
If the card isn't marked, it's a Class 2 card.
Class 4 is generally the slowest you want for decent HD video recording & playback if you do that.
Anyway, I'll check out the SanDisk 32Gb Class 4 and up cards on Amazon, I've been leary about the online MicroSD cards because I've heard about the Chineese fakes too. I heard that A-Data makes a good MicroSD card, what's your thoughts on them?
Is Patriot another cheapo like Kingston?
Thanks!
Hi I'm using supernova xtreme gingerbread . Since I installed it after the first couple of days I've had to do a battery pull atleast once a day because its freezing .
I have kept the stock radio and am using a class 4 16gb SD . I have read that a good quality SD is imbportant . I hot mine off eBay £13 . Is that likely to be the problem . And if sp what SD is best to get , and where from ?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
The SD is probably the issue. One important thing about SD cards are their classes, which indicate write speed (in MB/s). Cards can be of class 2, 4, 6, or 10. The number indicating the card's class is written on most cards with classes of 4 and above. Most of the ones that don't have anything on them are class 2. ROMs which use D2EXT scripts require fast cards, class 6 and above. The manufacturer is also an important thing to note, I recommend Kingston and SanDisk, though I'm not really an expert on the matter. They have worked good for me, though. You can get them on eBay or Amazon, as far as I'm aware of.
I'm sure for this Rom it says class 4- 6 . Mine is a sandisk
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
The desire was designed with class 4 in mind. So class 4-6 yield the best results. Some class 10s work, such sd adata I believe..other class 10s act like class 6, eg Kingston....

Hope this help....
SuperNova Extreme is a superb Rom even I tried it but after 24 hours of flashing when more and more apps are installed it starts freezing , droidzone stated this was because of slow sd card I am already using Samsung class 6 . Any way I found runny Rom v 5.xx a lot better with cm7r2 hboot it got just enough free internal memory and is very smooth . Currently I have 200 mb free.

Does anyone know if 64gb micro sd cards are compatible with the one v?
I know it says up to 32gb on the spec sheet but it said that on the sensation and that seems to accept them ok.

Tried a SanDisk 64GB Micro SDXC card in my gf's One V today.
Had to format it on the phone, but after that seems to work just fine.
I thought the android OS only supported up to 32GB Micro SDHC, I'm not sure if it supports SDXC, but if it does, that would be the sweetest thing ever, more FLAC on this baby makes for a happy me
Was hoping it would. Looks promising. Thanks for your feedback

Theres no phones that officially suport the 64gb cards but lots of phones that actually seem to work ok with them. Including the sensation, the gs2 and galaxy note to name a few. I would have thought that as long as its been formatted it should work ok.

I got my HTC One V today.
The 64GB SanDisk SDXC card, that I had been using on my HTC Wildfire S before works just fine.
Hey, does it matter if the MicroSD (8GB) is Class 4 or 10? I don't understand the difference but i better ask before i buy one.

I have class 2 and about 5mbps write and 20+ read....it isn't true...with a class 6 sdcard you will get 15mb write speed...
Sent from my HTC One V using XDA
The class tells you what minimum write speed the manufacturer guarantees.
Most cards go a good deal above the value because the manufacturers play it safe.

I also wanted to confirm that my HTC One V (from Virgin Mobile) sees 59.5GB of a SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC Class 6 Flash 64GB Memory Card. One of the reasons i switched to Android from the iPhone was the ability to store all of my music collection on my phone and this should be almost enough space.
What's the best 32gb SD card yo get for the note2? I'm thinking if buying a sandisk mobile ultra micro SD card, Its read speed is UHS speed class 1. Is it a great SD ?

UHS 1 is a new standard that is basically the equivalent of Class 10. Will do ya fine.

My Note II is super happy with the Samsung Class 10 32GB I have in there.
Had the SDCard in my last phone, but it seems really "at home" in the Sammy
Is there a noticeable benefit of a class 10 card over a class 6 one on this phablet?

If your not switching your sdcard with your internal one then I doubt you will notice a difference between the 6 and 10 since all apps are stored on the phone.

There is an extremely noticeable difference if you are copying files from your computer. I am always copying a lot of video to and from my card and a 66% increase in write speed saves me a lot of time.

im using a sandisk ultra 64gb sdxc class 10($50) reformatted to fat 32(for TWRP) in 1 note2 and a sandisk 32gb class 2($20) in the other and the write speed when copying videos from my PC is virtually identical......(fast)...is this due to the reformatting?
