The Biggest SDCard? - General Accessories

Anyone Out There Know, What The Biggest SDCard Size Is?
I Currently Have A 8GB Micro-SDCARD.... Although I've Seen Bigger, I Was Wondering Which One Would Be Best For My
"SPRINT CDMA HERO"?
I Heard Bigger Than 8GB Won't Work!! I Don't See Why Not?
Does Anyone Know If It Works Or Not, Please Let Me Know.....
Thanx!!

Is this big enough?
Although I just have used 16gb with no probs

I currently use 16 gb micro sd with my hd2...
But if you asking the limit of these storage cards look at this and you will be amazed....

Thanx for the Help guys!!

I know that the mytouch 4g is able to support up to a 32gb microSD card (just ordered one from newegg.com), so perhaps checking with the manufacturer or the carrier to find out the maximum size microsd your card can support.

it's nothing to do with carrier but you can find the limit it supports in the manufacturers specs, however it is not always like that... as the limitation for HTC universal was 2 gb and with great devs here we were able to use card up to 16gb... so ask fellow XDAINS than the manufacturers... and since your device is pretty new model you should be able 32 gb....

Said there are 32gb sd card, but I got one 16 micro sd card.

Thanx Everyone For Your Help!!

Use an 32GB Class 2 SanDisk for my Android HD2. Can't argue (for Class 2): 6MB Write, 15 MB Read.

2TB is the biggest ive seen!

It supports up to 48GB

It support's 64GB micro sd card also from the looks of it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1336961
Also I believe I had also seen a thread where someone use an adapter that combined 2 32micro sd card and it read that fine as 64GB. I believe the limitation for sd card support should be in how much Android itself can support.

Memory for digital cameras is usually SD, while phones use MicroSD.
I wouldn't waste money on it unless I knew for sure. G2/DZ support up to 32gb. Maybe, maybe not. Please do tell if it works

Bumping this back up - has anyone tried 64gb MicroSD yet?
If you don't mind me asking, dafuq r u gonna do with 64 gb of storage?
I have 8gb and I don't even use it all lol.
Mostly music tbh, but also pictures, videos, apps, a couple of full backups. You tend to fill up the space when you have it. I have had to delete files to keep under the 32gb I have at present, so I would use 64gb if available.
I might buy one anyway to use in my next phone if not this one...

64gb micro sd card in the one v

Does anyone know if 64gb micro sd cards are compatible with the one v?
I know it says up to 32gb on the spec sheet but it said that on the sensation and that seems to accept them ok.

Tried a SanDisk 64GB Micro SDXC card in my gf's One V today.
Had to format it on the phone, but after that seems to work just fine.
I thought the android OS only supported up to 32GB Micro SDHC, I'm not sure if it supports SDXC, but if it does, that would be the sweetest thing ever, more FLAC on this baby makes for a happy me
Was hoping it would. Looks promising. Thanks for your feedback

Theres no phones that officially suport the 64gb cards but lots of phones that actually seem to work ok with them. Including the sensation, the gs2 and galaxy note to name a few. I would have thought that as long as its been formatted it should work ok.

i have a 64gb kingston and its working fine.
I got my HTC One V today.
The 64GB SanDisk SDXC card, that I had been using on my HTC Wildfire S before works just fine.
Hey, does it matter if the MicroSD (8GB) is Class 4 or 10? I don't understand the difference but i better ask before i buy one.

I have class 2 and about 5mbps write and 20+ read....it isn't true...with a class 6 sdcard you will get 15mb write speed...
Sent from my HTC One V using XDA
The class tells you what minimum write speed the manufacturer guarantees.
Most cards go a good deal above the value because the manufacturers play it safe.

I also wanted to confirm that my HTC One V (from Virgin Mobile) sees 59.5GB of a SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC Class 6 Flash 64GB Memory Card. One of the reasons i switched to Android from the iPhone was the ability to store all of my music collection on my phone and this should be almost enough space.

Which 64gb sd?

Hi boys/girls,

I have the Sandisk which is fine for me. Still don't understand that my old Nokia N97 already had 32gb whereas the superduper quadcore hype devices of today are still stuck at 16gb internal memory. These should have been at 64gb stock. Ah well...

I have a sandisk one as well (class 10 sdxc). It's rated at about 30mbps vs the normal 10mbps. Works great so far.

Try to find ones that labeled UHS-1 (or UHS-I). If you want use torrents or others extremely high IO operations buy only ones with >40MB read/write specification (actual speed will be lower), otherwise stick with those with >20MB read/write.
ADATA has UHS-1 series 45MB Read/Write
SanDisk has UHS-1 "Mobile Ultra" 20MB Read/Write and UHS-1 "Extreme" 90MB Read/Write
List of course is incomplete, and all of UHS-1 labeled card also have Class10 label (because there is no higher Class)
Other that SanDisk "Mobile Ultra" will be expensive at 64GB and hard to find..
I've read somewhere Samsung micro SD 64gb is slightly faster than Sandisk one by a few mb/s transfer speed.
Ty for your answers peep.

I recently bought a 'SanDisk microSDXC Ultra Class 10 64 GB' and am very happy with it. I even managed to watch a 1080p movie with lossless DTS sound with it recently without even the slightest problem.
I also went with the Sandisk 64gb one, I formatted it in exfat with windows 7 and its been great for movies.
Great! Do u guys have an idea where i can get 1

Choose between 16GB or 32GB

Hello Dear HTC One M8 Lovers
I will buy the HTC one M8 asap, coming from a plastic S3 I guess it's way better than S4 or S5....
My question is, should I choose the 16gb or 32gb? I know I can use micro SD card up to 128gb...
Please give me your input regarding these question. On my S3, using SD card to save photos is a pain in the ass ..the gallery just freezes when to open the SD card photo gallery...
Any thoughts??
Thanks

I got the 32GB I find 16 is just to small and 32 is just perfect for me, im not going to be using any micro sd anytime soon.
What's the cost difference? You can get a 16GB MicroSD card on Amazon for 10 dollars. So... if it's more than 10 dollars (and it's usually something absurd like a HUNDRED dollars) you'd kind of be foolish to spend it, wouldn't you?
Verizon gave me a 32gb. Didn't even know a 16gb model existed. Oo

most people just go, put a memory card in it.
But with kitkat you have to remember the 3rd party access to external storage is limited.
