Does CM6 - Nightly have a changelog? - myTouch 3G Slide Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So lately I've been using CM6 Nightly builds
I've been getting the updates from here
http://mirror.teamdouche.net/?device=espresso
The thing is I have no idea what's being updated or what the changes are sometimes! Sometimes I know like when the headphone jack didn't work properly and in the next update it did, so I was wondering if theres some sort of change log out there somewhere. Would anyone happen to know?

Your best bet is to follow @cmsrc on twitter. There's no changelog for the nightlies, but there is a changelog on on the Cyanogenmod github.

Best minimalistic AOSP solution?

So, simple enough. Prefer Tiamat with SBC...
Deck 2.3.4 Stable vs. CM 7 RC1...
Any thoughts on which is the better ROM? Also, the last nightly CM build I ran was 104, any major improvements between that and RC1?
Thanks in advance!

Changelog for Nightlies, ect. I keep it book marked; and I personally prefer CM7. If you wanted BAREBONE AOSP, go to salvage mod.
Oh that's pretty sweet. I hadn't seen that changelog for the nightlies yet. Thanks bro!

CM9 nightly builds vs FXP

Sounds like a few more things working in the nightlies than in latest fxp at the moment, anyone got a few pros and cons on the two projects to share?
Sent from my LT18i using xda premium
nightly is are noticeably less laggy aswell
i like this post, i had the same question - also, what is the real difference between the two? i thought that FXP with releasing the roms on behalf of the CM team, but now we have both - i dont really get it.
i think i will try the nightly now, as they are easier to download.

+1 don't know it either

I see it this way: both FXP and CM are the same, since all the FXP changes will land on CM soon or later then the cm builds are more reliable that waiting a week for the FXP build.
Of course there are times where are changes in the FXP builds that aren't merged yet in CM when a nightly is deployed (i think that it happened the last week with the wifi bugfix).
can i use the same kernel on the tow roms ?
Both usually have a kernel packaged in the zip, use the one provided

CM9 RC2 changes?

CM9 RC2 is out now..does anyone know is there's any major changes from RC1 besides general optimizing? I've seen a link to the gerrit changelog but that doesn't really tell me much as a non-developer...
There really isn't anything major. Work on CM9 is slowing down as the Jellybean source was released.

Which is sad, because I love CM9. I've tried switching to some Jellybean ROMs but they never have the options I'm used to in CM9.
Because JB was just released. Those options will come in time.

[4/13/13][ROM][4.2.2]AOKP Unofficial Nightlies for Toro

AOKP JB-MR1 Unofficial Nightlies for the Toro
What is it?
A pure, untampered with AOKP Nightly based on Google's Android OS 4.2.2 direct from source, compiled by myself and uploaded for your pleasure.
Unless noted otherwise, these are straight merged nightlies from AOKP's github.
What's the difference between a nightly, a milestone, and a PUB release?
A nightly is only the officially merged changes to AOKP, added whenever it passes review codes and tests, as the changes come. A Milestone release is whenever there are enough significant changes to the ROM to where the AOKP team decides it is time to officially publish it and showcase it, and a PUB (Project Unicorn Butter) release is from a member of Team AOKP that adds different changes that haven't officially been merged yet. While most of the time these changes are considered stable, they have not been officially checked off yet.
Why?
Why not? I started compiling them for myself and decided to share with whomever also wanted the latest and greatest, free of buzz words and hype.
NOTICE!
For anyone that uses their phone in spanish it is a reported bug about force closes. If you are experiencing this, you will need to factory reset, setup the phone in english, then change the language used to spanish. I apologize, this is nothing particular to my build, but to AOKP in general for the time being. Thanks for your patience!
Changelog
Can be found Here and the current list of cherry picks is as follows:
Chronus built in as system app, updated direct from CM source
Features chronus preferences in rom control--->clock--->clock widget

These nightlies will ONLY work on the Verizon Galaxy Nexus (TORO), flashing these will require a custom recovery, for your sake I hope you are on the latest either CWM or TWRP2. If not on the latest recovery you will receive the 0/0/0/0 folder error
The gapps package I recommend using can be found at this link, gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
The usual disclaimers and everything else still apply, so if you install this on a non toro phone, please don't blame me.
gapps flashing is still required, and I recommend nexus louder beta.
Credits
Team AOKP, in particular Pro Tekk for his amazing guide on compiling at RootzWiki
Dizzy Thermal, for supporting my crack flashing habit for quite some time
HTC and Sprint, for taking such a long time to put gingerbread on my Evo 4G and pushing me to root
Myn, for his amazing Evo ROMs, showing me how beautiful a custom ROM could be
The CM Team for Chronus
If you're enjoying the nightlies feel free to comment, ask a question, or hit the thanks button!
Thanks.

Have to go back to work. Built one more for the 15th but swiping up for Google now causes system ui force closes. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until I left the house and won't be back for 2 weeks. I will build again when I get home. Sorry for the inconveniences...

Stock aosp with very few tweaks :good:
They do very solid work. Their work was the reason I was able to port CM10 to my old HD2.

Can anyone make a general list of what extra features evervolv has?
I kinda don't want to spend extra time wiping and restoring my data if it isn't worth an upgrade from CM10.1
Last time I used Evervolv was with my Nexus One, and that was LONG TIME AGO
For example, am I able to edit the quick settings, and can I use CM themes?

Been running the nightlies on my T989D since they were first posted here, have had no issues/bugs/RRs/SODs
Only random issue I ran into is when I flashed a new kernel. Screen would randomly have a thick red outline. Went back to stock kernel, all was well.
Keep up the great work, I remember drooling over Evervolv on my HTC One V
