Hi I just bought MDA Pro badged as T-Mobile in Brunei. The software it came with is O2 !! ?? so someone has changed it from the German OS from original T-Mobile maybe and made it English using O2 software maybe.
Anyway it all works ok apart from I can't synch to my PC running MS Outlook 2003.
I have updated my Active synch to 4.1. My old XDAII still synchs no problem but new MDA gives support code 85010014.
Any ideas
Many thanks
if you can do all the other syncing but not the office2003 sync you should repair your installation of office2003. it is there in the help tab.
Thanks for the help but I have already tried that. Also reinstalled activsync and repaired it. I see from other sources on the web (take a look at google) that this is happening to a LOT of users but NO answers yet. Not that seem to WORK anyway and OF COURSE nothing from MS!!
Just do search for the error code here in the forum and I'm sure you'll find an answer.
I'm not quite sure, as I recall you need to unistall & reinstall outlook, as well as deleting more than one or two partnership is in active sync.
Thanks
Hello,
First time post...I think, . I have a HTC TTYN II, I use the standard methood of backing up to backup my profile, however, 5 times now when doing a sync all of my voice tags disapear, I have had put them back in 5 times with it working for a while in-between, I am asking all of you lovely people if you know of any software where i can just backup the voice tags, or selectively backup parts of the phone, it is running Windows Mobile 6.1 and I use activesync.
Cheers in advance

Hello,
I'm trying to get a software which can be used to send Short Messages via HTC HD, when this is connected to the PC. There used to be some software like this for old Nokia, as part of the Nokia suite, I believe. Is there smth. like that for WM6?
It would be very useful when we want to send an sms and in front of the PC instead of typing on the HD virtual keyboard...
thanks,
ionutz
I use mymobiler to control my HD from the PC, & send txts
MyMobiler is a good free solution for remotly controlling the messaging app on your HD, or look at Jeyo Mobile Extender (for Outlook integration of SMS sending/receiving) or mDesktop, similar to the Nokia CC.

Thnaks a lot, guys, for your answers. I know I could and should have searched google before asking, but asking you guys gave me better answers than google search, eventually.
I chose MyMobiler and Jeyo Mobile Extender, but all look great.
thanks!
ps. What a great community this is!
Jeyo Mobile Extender 2.5 (1258)
I use Jeyo Mobile Extender 2.5 (1258) with Blackstone and MS Outlook 2007 and have problems connecting from time to time. It also complains about the registration name not being the same as the one on the phone from time to time. (Could be a white space perhaps, but if so it is definitely a bug). I've not found any pattern in the instabilities. There is little (or no) work being done to improve this utility. The idea of the utility is good, and there are not that many applications around that does the same. The utility seems a bit immature (beats me how it can be a v2.5...)

Hello
I am searching for a tool, and maybe you guys can help me.
With my previous phone (ericsson k750i) I used a program called MyPhoneExplorer.
It automatically connects itself to your cell and allows you to send sms via bluetooth (advantage: typing on the computer)
Now I'm using windows mobile (on the xperia) but I can't seem to find such an app. (probably because there are so many windows mobile apps)
I found one that works, but it is not free.

What do you guys recommend?
Tnx!
i used mymobiler
jeyo mobile companion
jeyo seems to be what i'm looking for
are you able to let it sync your contacts?
yes, it downloads the contacts from your phone and sim.
and ofcourse upload it to your phone when you edit contacts.
it works like a backup system. so you always have a copy on your pc.
super, gonna try it soon, when my x1 returns from the warranty service :-(
I have activated the settings syncronization in both my Windows 10 Desktop and my Lumia 640 with Windows 10 Mobile (10586.11) an I just cannot get my settings syncronized between them.
I have established in both devices the theme syncronization, but either I change the ascent color on my PC or my Lumia, the other device won´t change it at all. I was wonder if these feature is real and it is not working on me for any unkown by me reason or I just made it up and this feature is only between different desktops and diferent Lumias. I try syncronyzating OneDrive and Outlook Mail several times and I got nothing.
¿Has anyone got this settings sync work? ¿Is it real? ¿Why I cannot get the feature?
Thanks in advance for answering.
Actually the sync between W10 devices doesn't work properly.
Cuz thats totally awesome... Ive actually had it work in the past but it was by "accident".
I also found a registry key on Windows 10 PC (idr where it was tho) that if you changed (and had a W10 Phone) the phones theme setting [dark/light] changed instantly. I posted about it on Winbeta.org but nothing ever came of it...
Has anyone managed to read SMS (text messages) on PC? I have Windows 10 mobile and Windows 10 PC with same accounts, Cortana is working, and I can send SMS from my pc, but I can't read them on PC. Only on phone.
Like I said before, the sync between W10 devices doesn't work properly.
