Hello thanks for all your great work...
I just whant to learn about porting language from sdk image..
I found this very usefull for all the people here.
One "how to" for the step's or something similar is tha what i ask
I follow these:

But how i port my language file's to my rom?? What file's i whant exept the .mui file's??

sorry for opening a new thread and for my engl.

What change's i have to make exept add the mui file's for the image and change the registry from 0409 to my language code??
Also i change some word's in initflash.dat
I do all that step's but after a take the windows startup picture mixed with (my language)start button bar....
So this is happend cause i dont replace any of the .rgu .dsm file's??
Or i must change anything with platformm builder on any of the mui file's??
Please please somebody help me...

a little help in translating

i'm using the localizated wm6 emulator image for hermes, i've extracted all the 0410.mui and 0410.dll but the first alignment screen won't come up so...what's wrong ??
i've checked all the .rgu and other register and all is ok...all is changed to 0410
the system folder (in start menù) is empty, the other things is ok, the phone boot and the touch work fine but it's not aligned...
who can help me ? i can upload my coocked os...

How to create a Language pack in my native language?

Hi all,
I wanted to make ROM that incorporated my native language (Persian).
i was wondering is it possible that make my own language pack for it?
I already search the net , couldn't find anything.
if anybody can teach me how and where to get the tools for it I will be grateful.

You mean that you want to translate the rom's language files to persian?
If yes, search in the forum for file editor suite.
First you need to unsign the file you want translate, after you must open it with resource hacker(or any other similar program) and translate it to persian. Finally you need to sign it again with msigner.
All these tools included in file editor suite.

How to edit Et9 library????

Hi all. Im a vietnamese, and I always want to type Vietnamese on My excalibur. But I cant find any software to support Vietnamese keyboard on WM SP. I suddenly thought it possible to edit data file of Et9 to vietnamese???? any one can or know how to edit this file pls show to me. Thanks to all.
p/s: sorry about my english. it not fluently.

I know how to edit the e9 file, I just don't know how you'd get the phone to recognize the vietnamese language.

hook your Excalibur up to your pc and navigate to your device - program files - et9. Then open the file ending in .kmap from there you can edit your Excalibur's keyboard. instructions are included in the file.

I don want edit et9 key map. I just want edit T9's library

[Q] How can I Upload files to Rsrc - *.RC1 ?

I found a Hebrew keyboard files of the operating system and I want to attach them to a file RC1 (Rsrc)
How I do it? With Trix is impossible to open the file and waveremaker can not edit the file ..
I tried also with QUB and nothing...

I need help with this please!
I want to make hebrew firmware for israel and I made it but only can see hebrew and the OS in hebrew but can't write in hebrew..
so I need to put the LDB and the KDB files in the Rsrc1 file and I have not successful with this...

At this time we can only 1 direction. NOT decompress + compress.
Only decompress possible.
We need solution for compress.
