Is there any other way to delete apps? As when I go menu settings applications manage apps it just force closes. I have tried reseting phone etc still nothing! Any suggestions? Cheers Steve
Were you using Locale by any chance? Mine did that after using it...

Go to Market -> Downloads, click on the application you want to get rid of and click the un-install button.

The thread for Stockes : com.htc.android.Stock is using a lot of my CPU. I mean, 30/50%. I have removed all the quotation and set no update. So, why this application is still onsuming this CPU?
Am I the only one with this?
Go to settings, applications and try clearing the settings for the stocks app.

I'm facing the same problem with my HTC wildfire.... does anyone knows how to solve the problem? I'm not using this app at all...
Thanks
Well, for my side, I used Titanium backup to froze the application
Have you tried un-ticking the box for syncing Stock?
Settings - Accounts & Sync
Yes! and also remove all the quote and wiping data of this application.
And you removed the widget from the desktop (sorry, I don't mean to patronise but I myself know sometimes I miss the obvious).
Yes, of course. Freezing is the only working way for me.

if you not use stock APP, i think you can uninstall it.
I'm running CM7 and all my apps are only listed as free and purchased. They all work fine and are in app drawer but im not getting update notifications because the market thinks they are not installed. I have went to settings>manage apps>market and the only option is to uninstall updates, cache and data are greyed out.
I have tried downloading them again and they will download and install then show as installed but within a few hours revert back to saying free or purchased. Anybody else have this happen or know of a fix?

Sounds like an auto restore problem...... try uninstalling all of them and then reinstall..... plus go into privacy and turn of the back up my data with Google option and see if that works

Tried that and still no luck. Gonna try wiping and reflashing.

Verify the download as the latest, download, and re-flash again.
Not sure about Chrometophone though.
MarketEnabler
If you don't feel like reflashing,
you can install apps restricted to certain zones (such as Chrome to phone) via the market using MarketEnabler
Reflashing doesnt work ,i.installed marketenabler from market but i dont know how to use it,now what i have to do.now?
Thanks alot.

Fire it up, go to the "Settings list", long press on one of the listed providers, click "fake this provider now" and then you can install Chrome to phone (and other zone restricted apps) like you would do for any other app via the Market.

All apps show force close ,what to do?

ALL apps force close?
Something seems thoroughly wrong with your install. At this point I'd consider a complete wipe & reinstall of your ROM.

I can search for apps, download them, search for an installed app and click on it to see it there's an update available. But when I select my apps from the market, I keep seeing this instead of my apps. Anybody know why this is?

Is no one else having this problem? Is this some type of Google censorship or what?

oh, it goes away. I just don't like individually updating apps. Or guessing if I have updates. But my main question is, as long as this isn't some Google censorship due to black market apps installed or something.

Just recently noticed, that my market was fine until I started adding multiple gmail accounts on to my phone. [Hmmm..]

Am using cm 10.1 build 18, i cant get into 'Apps' section in settings panel, whenever i click on Apps the phones performnce is utter slow. Cant even select the uninstall button, but other than this issue all is well. Any recommends for this?
If you have many apps installed it may take a while to load them after you select apps in the menu. You can also use titanium backup to uninstall apps.
