Fantastic forum. You guys solve all of my problems.
I've purchased a program, Uconvert, a unit converter. At startup, it says, that it needs flash lite to run. I can't find that app anywhere.

SINCE THE UPGRADE WAS POST IN TOMTOM SITE THAT I'M SEEKING FOR THE CRA*K.
SO I FOUND IT IN A TORRENT PROGRAM AND I'M GOING TO SHARE WITH EVERYBODY.

Really u sure about that. Maybe M$ would disagree - with WM5 being made available for free download. Still warez M8.

nope, you're wrong. all the devices have the license from MS (jasjar, vario even the older one that had the development versions on) so we've already paid for it.
Instead Tomtom is totally different case.

Hello All,
I was wndering if someone or anyone could share with me how to port a XIP. i have sucsesfully ported a sys and have maged to pick up the basic's like dumping a xip and realocating the moduls but than what do i do? if someone could share the tools and a brief discription on how to do a full port that would be great. either PM me or post it here.

that guide looks slightly misleading. you actually want to bring in all of msxipkernel, and you want to check your map.txt and reloc every module as necessary.

Excellent feedback; The thread looks promising in the beginning, but then by the time you get to the last page, you end up thinking ... there has to be more to it than that. Obviously, as you have stated, there is much more to it than that! Thanks for the detail in your reply.

Yeah, I have it running on my fuze.....it seems pretty cool, doesn't seem to slow anything down and automatically backs up your files. Overall pretty cool....

I Bricked my Rhodium when i try to rewrite the rom. By mestake i try to write Raphael software on my Rhodium. Right now my HTC is in OEMSPL (radio boot). I want to send it to a forum member to make test on it...,.. Because i'm new here plese sugest the right member.
If you can get to SPL, you will be able to flash any official ROM for it, grab your stock ROM with correct CID and flash it.
If it tells wrong CID or ModelId, use goldcard method.
If still nothing, try writing to cmonex .
If you're not still under warranty or holding the VolDown button and turning it on doesnt work, I suggest you donate it to the android developers. I hear they're short TP2's.

Yeah, orb3000 is definitely one of the most trustworthiest persons here... always helps other people when they need help.
look cmonex is a nice girl who kicks ass in unlocking and hacking,but probably is way too busy for your personal problems....
and orb is a veteran here,according to skills he might help you,but as far as trust goes...i'd definitely trust orb
as he is a friend of mine,a fellow xda dev,and will pay more attention to your problem
if i were you,i'd go for orb
additionally:
orb is in the us...and i am in bosnia which is just nearby romania...so shipping will cost less and whole process will be much much faster
so...if orb gets his 10 recommendations,he could recommend me,
i'd test it a bit,try to solve the problem and give the device back to you...
^^ Technically ORB is in Mexico, but can't have anythign shipped to Mexico since customs is a *****. Instead he has everything that he buys via XDA shipped to a close friend of his from Mexico who actually lives in the US.
I am running windows XP (go ahead and laugh). I notice when transfering data to my phone from my computer I TAKES FOREVER. this only occurs when I am using AOSP roms or when i am transfering in Amon Ra. Does anyone else have this problem, does anyone know where I can get the proper driver for XP

I know this is an old thread, but I'm experiencing this same issue as the person who started this thread. Any help would be appreciated. Really I'd love a link to the xp drivers.. and if it's not too much to ask, a suggestion for a Rom. Forgive me, I'm quite a newb.

I don't have a answer for the XP issue other than that's seems to be the nature of XP from what I experienced in the past. On the rom side my suggestion is anything Wambo_Bomb has his hands in. Below is a link to the current roms.

hey bro, forgive me. this thread was like 2 years old, and i bumped it as a joke with jayshocka. it's possible that he found the drivers, so hopefully he'll poke his head in here sometime and help you out. he has bad breath, but he's a really nice guy.
I appreciate your responses and I will check out a Rom from wambo. This is my first smart phone and I'm still getting used to it. It was my brother's but he gave it to me. It's already rooted and everything and it has an aosp Rom on it now (he said) so that's why I was trying to find these drivers. This was the only thread that came up when I searched. Anyway, thanks again, hopefully someone can help me with the drivers.
