Yeah, I have it running on my fuze.....it seems pretty cool, doesn't seem to slow anything down and automatically backs up your files. Overall pretty cool....

And it seems to be free?
Thank you.

Yep, free!
There's actually been a few threads about Flexilis here @ xda, including some started by us, check em out at: http://bit.ly/48tCLJ

Looks interesting, but is it still in beta phase?
Thank you.

yep, still in beta for a little bit longer, though that might change soon, so get in now!

Wow I got in at #1 on the useless post
The screen capture utility incorporated in 1.2 blew monkey nuts, so I installed vSnap. Comes with a timer, and very user-friendly interface. Everything else is great in 1.2 so I'm wondering if upgrading to 2.0 is really necessary right now. I started desgining a Wisbar theme to go with this ROM, so hopefully I can work on it as long as I can convince myself to hold off on 2.0 for a few days.
I posted similar feelings months ago on the Wizard Forums with no real response.
I mean, nothing personal folks, but who really cares that you're looking forward to this release or that release and your download is at 39 percent and you're just so happy and your daughter's been asked to the prom and your step-on dawg just had puppies...
I have noticed that there seems to be a smarter and somewhat nicer class of folks here than on the Wizard forums but then agian I just got here a while ago and am still reading the WIKI here and doing my best not to ask stupid questions as the majority of my posts have been answering the same elsewhere.
As an aside.... kudos to all the chefs here! I really love my Hermes and am looking forward to contributing my two cents worth here.

My post count doesn't reflect the research that I've put in here, but geezus, the questions that come out.....
One of my favorites was the guy who asked about his i-Mate SPL in the Hermes forum.
Word of advice to all posters: Think before you post. Your intelligence quotient (IQ for short) depends on it.
JJ, great job on the ROM and get some sleep!

who is wifi and where do i find him?
Flashed and working well
I flashed and the sucker's working nicely.
I had the initial cert error, but when I connected to my WMDC (Vista) and established a partnership, the cert issue disappeared. (cert was expired message).
WiFI works awesome. Will probably patch on the bubble fix.
Only complaint is Comm Manager not black. Not really a complaint. Really glad it isn't lime green anymore.
Excellent work, JJ. Who knows, Black may be the one and only.
Beers on the way!

hey thanks for your comments.
commanager is a ***** to skin as u have to decompile the executable.
walshieau is working on it at the moment, and if he gets it done we we release a cab.
Upgraded and it works well. My only question is whether anyone (on Telstra) has been able to get Foxtel/AFL etc working on this build? I know they recently released a ROM upgrade for WM5 but any luck with WM6 and Black V2.0?
Yeah, I read that somewhere in another thread.
Hats off to walshieau as well!
Maybe you two can enjoy the beers together?
Nice to have a stable WM 6.0 again (had XBow beta & RTM for a bit, till M$ took back their Wizard.... it's come a long way since then)
Also got VC 1.6 working with the "Jules" CAB.
Starting to load other shat on it, but staying away from Resco (not SuperCID, had issues with certs)
Have a good one and get some rest. I'm heading there now (booty call!)

It's okay. It's a bit slower but not that much. It really depends on what you're doing on it.
I'm one of the ones thinking about going back to 6.1 from the 6.5
It doesn't seem to play nice with some programs I use, and it seems slower. I do like the home page looks a bit more than 6.1, but that isn't enough to keep me using the rom if it keeps crapping up.
There are too many issues I am finding, including the clock issue and lag from larger resources used.
Thanks

Yeah, the home screen is nicer and I like that plugin that detects where you are for the current weather. I've only had one run-in with a program and makes it difficult to run and that's iGO8's TTS. Because 6.5 is a memory hog, I can't seem to get TTS working unless I close manila.exe, restart, and run CleanRAM. Luckily I find the TTS distracting enough that I don't really need it all the time. I've had LOTS of errors installing various programs but everything seems to be working. I had to turn off the error notification in order to just be happy with operations.
I've also noticed that the messaging app keeps popping up ever so often. Anyone else notice this?
I am also having the time sync problem with my tp2.
I am using the official tmo 6.5 os and I am getting tired of this issue.
The reason I got rid of my watch was because I thought I had a dependable clock on my phone.

Yup same issues. BUT after doing alot of tweaks and changing alot of registry entries, I finally like how my phone is working. It is true, it's a memory hog but I got use to it. BTW in the beginning after upgrading to the Tmo 6.5 official rom, I wanted to go back to 6.1 but couldn't. I even talked to the Tmo. support and how I hated the upgrade and made my phone work like crap. She said the only way to go back to 6.1 is to get another phone from them (swap for a new TP2 with 6.1 still). So this is my story about 6.5 upgrade. So if you have 6.5 and want to go back to 6.1 on a Tmo TP2 better do that now before they run out because the Touch HD2 is coming from them.
Here you can download the original 6.1 TMOUS ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550975
So . . . . has anyone else experienced this clock time lag.
I have been on 6.5 for about 2 weeks and my clock is regularly 3 minutes behind.
(I have a separte TP2 running sometimes JoshKoss Perfect Black and sometimes NRG roms - that device is never behind)
Any thoughts on why on the stock TMo 6.5? There is a small thread on the TMo forums, but it really didn't shed much light.
H E L P . .
WTF do these dumbass replies not relate to the thread title

thanks for all your comments...??? That's a ****ing laugh...You didn't start the thread you goon, you hijacked it and rendered it rather useless...
if you have nothing beneficial and on topic to add to the original post, don't post anything at all, or start your own thread...
Aunt Flo visiting??
Wow, someone is having a bad day...
...and for the record, the clock issue seems to be in part due to a "coolness" factor...or at least that seems to be what the consensus says.
Also telling someone who may be interested in 6.5 that there are some issues beyond the clock issue, is not hijacking the thread, it is warning them that another thread may be needed to fix something else that has gone wrong.
Finally, several of the 6.5 issues have been addressed in cooked roms, but they themselves are not 100% bug free, and one may be trading a stock rom issue for a cooked rom issue.
When a solution is found, and works 100% I am absolutely certain someone will post about it and will be practically wetting themselves over said fix.

Perhaps you should take your own rather b*tchy advice (as your post also was of no benefit and provided no fix to the OP's querry). You were quite rude in calling a fellow XDA member a MORON. I'll also add that if you have nothing NICE to say, don't say anything at all.
lol...seems i've struck a nerve...lmao...the raw truth often does...
No the truth doesn't hurt, it is your RUDENESS to other members that bothers me.
Whether a thread has or has not veered off topic is not a reason to be a rude asshole to other members...
ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR VERY OWN POST HAD NOTHING BENEFICIAL TO ADD TO THE OP'S QUERY, THEREFOR WAS JUST AS MUCH A HIJACKING AS THE ONES YOU CLAIMED TO BE.
who said anything about the truth hurting, sweetheart?
i see why you couldnt follow the original thread topic...it's because your context clues, are supbar at best...lol...

Striking a nerve implies creating pain. Strike a nerve is a colloquialism for something with negative connotations, while Strike a chord, has positive ones. As you used the term STRIKE A NERVE in the same sentence alluding to the truth...I answered you with the truth does not hurt. Perhaps you were confused with what implications to use, and you really meant to use the positive terminology of Strike a Chord.

Now you not only insult other XDA members, but now attack me for pointing out a very glaringly obvious point to your own post---that you did nothing yourself to answer the OP's posting. Perhaps you have Napoleonic Syndrome and feel it is necessary to attack others to somehow make yourself feel better. We do not need bullies at XDA. Feel free to troll some other website.
If you feel it is truly necessary to continue to attack XDA members and/or flame this thread, go right ahead, as it is now YOU taking it so far off course that I am sure it will soon be closed. I have spoken my mind, and will not engage you further. If you must get the last word in to save your tiny manhhood, then go ahead. If you post again after THIS entry, we shall have our answer about what sort of person you are. That is the RAW TRUTH.

Telstra is a service provider so its a bloated rom. I just needed it for work. Haven't had a chance to flash it yet - I'll let you know just how "bloated" it is when I get a chance.

A blaoted rom is one that has a lot of service provider CRAP. For instance, I am on TmoUS, and my rom came with at least 5 apps that I never used in the past, am not using now, and will never use in the future...Most of this crap appeals to someone who isn't very techie and isn't aware of the amazing abilities of these devices. Sometimes said bloatware runs in the background whether you want it to or not.
Think of it like this...
A Shelby AC Cobra 427 is automobile perfection...then someone get the bright idea to add crap to it. Maybe a crappy muffler, perhaps changes to the struts and suspension. It slows down the beast of a motor, maybe even makes it sputter and backfire a bit, it doesn't handle a curve as well...
This is bloatware...they take a device that is really good, then they add their own crap to it which slows it down, lags it out, and makes it run inefficiently.
Yep. The previous post is about right. It's full of crap that you never use. Someone will probably strip it soon enough if its worth it. I only need it for work/warranty reasons.

Actually yes full of Telstra advertising... now with telstra some links are useful (most are not foxtel etc) but must say nowhere near locked down as their 6.1 effort... working fine so far and to my surprise after 6.1 slowness not much if any slower than the HTC 6.5 had on device before flashing... will look for reg edits to clean up further.... so likely to keep if GPS works as good as 6.1 (really fast locks) as GPS was slow to lock on HTC 6.5
Thanks for explanation!!

you should be able to download WebOS Doctor... it has everything needed to totally wipe the device and reinstall everything fresh... so it would have all the system files in it.
you should be able to find it somewhere other than palms site. on palms page you need to put in your phones serial to download it.
if you end up needing it, i would be happy to download it and host it so you can grab it quick. (wife has a pre plus).
the newest version is 1.4.5.
Hey, found a link for the latest WebOS doctor that camalus was talking about, direct download link for the file is http://palm.cdnetworks.net/rom/pre/...1351rod/webosdoctorp101ewwverizonwireless.jar

I had a Pre Plus for a while and my biggest beef, besides crappy hardware, was the lack of apps.

Hey ID I had a Palm Pre Plus for like 29 before I got my Dinc. I loved the card UI, you can have like 50 things going on at once. Phone would get hot and battery would go but it was a nice OS. The Acer test video you made reminded me of it a little.

[APP] Am I Drunk? BETA - Testers Desired

Currently we've gotten closer to the point where we're going to need ENGLISH-SPEAKING individuals with Mango OS Phones and also those who drink slightly to quite a bit (DO NOT DRINK SOLELY DUE TO OUR APP AS THAT IS NOT DESIRED NOR SUPPORTED).
Our App truly pulls a Twist on these types of Alcohol/Drug detection programs as we're implementing procedures that have never been seen/used as we can tell in ANY prior App on ANY platform.
*** Do not request/provide any interest if you don't agree/understand that this App will be required to be downloaded via Windows Phone Marketplace, English Speaking (Reading obviously helps too) users needed, & signup for our Online Forum (www.compulsivetech.biz/forum) as this is where any bugs/news/feature suggestions/requests will need to be placed as a section will be locked strictly for Beta Testers. ***
TO HELP US...
We will give you credit as we wanted to for Speechy, to those who test and test throughly/properly. If/when an Advanced Edition or Breathalyzers become available we will outright cover the final cost (Any physical hardware to be borrowed from us (LIMITED) will be permitted with a $30 MAJOR CREDIT CARD HOLD during BETA)
NOTE: THIS APP WILL HAVE TO BE RELEASED WITH "ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES" AS THIS IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR THE WORK OF AN OFFICER OF THE LAW, NOR DO OR WILL WE CLAIM THIS CAN PREVENT ANY TYPE OF DRUG-INDUCED DRIVING.
Sorry to make it seem so official but I am trying to cover EVERYTHING and prevent any confusion.
i'd be willing to test this out

Terrific, we hope the end of this week/early next will be ready to go. The voice recognition had some issues, but we would love to have you!

I would love to help test the app.
Just as a note. English is not my native language, but I speak English fluently.
Keep it up!

Thank you for the offer, you're more than welcome to try it. Beyond the voice recognition feature/test it does have other agility testing that is not language-based and should be fit for all .
Thank you again, and look forward to you testing.
I'd love to help!

Unfortunately it doesn't come with it, I apologize but I am sure at the end of the whole thing, eventually... We can buy you a drink ;]
Any idea when beta testing will start? Is it dependent on a physical hardware attachment?

This actually currently doesn't require any additional hardware, only your WP7 Device (Mango required) and if you do NOT have a compass it uses the GPS feature and provides a different test.
We thought the public beta would have already been released but still waiting on an officer from LVMPD to give us his personal opinion on the latest test.
if you still need testers i would also like to help out
Sure, got a party on friday's anyways
I'm ready to help...cant wait to see if this actually works
Hey Guy's!
We've had to re-submit our App now 3 times to AppHub, it kept getting denied, even for a private BETA! Insane, indeed. So, we've had to write up that this is for educational purposes and we are not doctors and so forth.
Very sorry for the delay!
Oh apphub, how we love you.
It's okay, would be nice before saturday if you know what i mean
