Can i use T-mob 3G w/ unlock Tilt2 at&t ???
NO!!!
Tilt2 doesn't get T-Mobile USA's 1700 MHz Signal. AT&T uses 1900 MHz.
T-Mobile's TP2 receives 1700 (T-Mobile USA), & 2100 (Europe) MHz.
AT&T's TP2/Tilt2 receives 850, 1900 (AT&T USA), & 2100 (Europe) Mhz.
Sorry, No can do.

Hi, according to what i've read the radio should be choosen to the country and the carrier you're working with, I live in colombia and my carrier is movistar, but im not getting 3g speeds, i just bought a t-mobile g2, i've seen that carriers in colombia are working on UMTS 850 and UMTS 1900, so can anyone help me on choosing the correct radio to my phone?
THANKS!!!!
The 3G bands on the G2 are 1700/2100 and 2100 MHz, so you are never going to get 3G speeds on it, if your network is using 850 and 1900 MHz. This is set in hardware, and can't be changed by flashing radios. So you are stuck on EDGE. You bought the wrong model of the Vision if you want 3G on your network. The only version with compatibility with 850 and 1900 MHz 3G bands is the Bell Canada version of the Desire Z.
i live in the States and currently have T-Mobile ... and i was wondering if i get a Canadian GSM Nexus.. http://www.rogers.com/web/link/wirelessBuyFlow?forwardTo=PhoneThenPlan&productType=normal&productId_Detailed=NEXUSGBLK&N=52+11
... could i unlock it and run it on T-Mo HSPA/HSPA+?
The Rogers Nexus Frequency Band:
GSM Bands:850/900/1800/1900
HSPA+/HSPA Bands:850/1900/2100
T-Mo Frequency Band:
850 MH: GSM/GPRS/EDGE
1900 MH: GSM/GPRS/EDGE
1700 MHz: UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+
1900 MHz: UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+
You don't even have to unlock it as they are already unlocked. It will work just fine on T-mobile.
The Galaxy Nexus is pentaband: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100
All GSM Nexus are pentaband and will work on TMo US.

No fancy work. Just buy and put the SIM in.
But you'll be spending more buying it in Canada (or from Canada) for use in the states. Buy from one of the importers and you'll undoubtedly save money.

Slightly off-topic, but this above is wrong.
Rogers uses 850/1900 for both GSM and HSPA.
T-Mobile uses 1900 for GSM and AWS for HSPA.
All GSM/HSPA Galaxy Nexus have a 850/900/1800/1900 GSM radio and a 850/900/AWS/1900/2100 HSPA radio.

So the users that are going to use this device in the USA on AT&T or T-Mobile, where are you purchasing your device from in the states?
Also does anyone know if I were to use it on AT&T will I have to change the cellular settings or will the device pick up default settings on first boot. I remember there were different APN settings for AT&T and an unlocked device to give it access to faster DL speeds. Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance.
I also would like to know if the international version of One X is HSPA+ 42 mbps capable with T-mobile US?

No, it's not compatible with T-Mobile US 4G unless you're lucky enough to live in one of the few places where they're using 1900MHz. It'll work with AT&T data roaming at 4G, and it'll work as 2G on T-Mob's own network.
HTC ONE X specs from phone arena:
GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
UMTS 850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz
Data HSDPA+ (4G) 21.1 Mbit/s, HSUPA 5.76 Mbit/s, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS
UMTS on AT&T works at 850 and 1900 MHz so should be fine, I am not sure about t-mobile. it might work at 1700-2100 so could be kind of a problem...
regarding my personal experience, I have a european desire hd (on at&t), and in the bay area (SF) it gets no more than EDGE connection (I saw 3G icon couple of times ). However Desire HD doesn't work at 850 and 1900 MHz, whereas One X does so... should be fine on at&t.

Yep, as I said, there is no 4G on T-Mobile unless you roam to AT&T, or you're in one of a very small number of places in California where they've started using 1900MHz for T-Mob.
I have a bell GS3 that is unlocked can I use a t mobile sim card in it and get the 3g data or is AT& T the only one that works?
The Bell site says the GS3 supports the following:
HSPA/UMTS compatibility
UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz
GPRS/EDGE compatibility
850/900/1800/1900MHz
and according to wikipedia T mobile USA has these:
850 MHz/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA
1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE 2G .
1700 MHz UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ 3G/4G
1900 MHz UMTS/HSPA/HSPA+ 3G/4G
1700 MHz LTE
So I am fairly certain that as long as the area I am in is serviced by that 1900 MHz UMTS/HSPA I should be fine right? Obviously no LTE speeds buts thats ok I dont even use it as home since it is such a battery pig.
anyone have some input it would be greatly appreciated?
I have a att gs3 which I unlocked and now using on T-Mobile, it works good but a lot of times it switches to edge when there is 4g available. I believe there is a way to fix it by flashing t mobile radio but I dont want to brick my phone so I havent tried.

Can anyone confirm about this?
and is T-mobile come with a unlocked bootloader?
If this is true... T-mobile would definitely have more sells (maybe just for the phone...:fingers-crossed
You're right

I found this information at Samsung USA website, but I think the Canadian variant (M919V) will be the same. The M919 for T-Mobile has those frequencies:
LTE: Bands 700 / 850 / AWS 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 ; HSPA+/UMTS: 850 / AWS 1700 / 1900 / 2100MHz; GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
The T-Mobile phone will work no problem. I've posted the numbers elsewhere and they all match up.
However, Koodo is selling it for $625 outright and the other companies for $700, so the T-Mobile one is not any cheaper. All Canadian versions have an unlocked bootloader.
