Hi to all!
I have a WWE Jasjar and i've been waiting for the italian rom for a long time.
Then imate released it and I upgraded my jasjar with new rom.
Everything is fine except for a thing: the keyboard!
I didn't consider that in Italy there's a different layout and probably the Italian Jasjar has a different keyboard.
I've obviously got the standard one, with english keyboard.
Is there a way to change the keyboard layout back to the original english one or the only solution is to get back to the WWE rom?

Absolutely yes! I have already installed it! You must be a registered user to download the rom.
And I have found a solution to my problem: now the keyboard work perfectly.

i got big problems with this phone, especially because i can only make one call or more and it's need to turn off the radio and than back on to be able to make a new call.
Is this a behaviour that occurs to anybody ???

Yes I live in Italy.
I've never had any problem with my phone and especially with phone calls.
To change the keyboard layout:
Edit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\Qwerty and change the value to 10409 hex.
The keyboard will be remapped to the english one after reset.

Just wondering if anyone else is having same problem. I had English Build on my JASJAR, but was unable to read or send Arabic messages. I installed the latest ARABIC Build. but know i can send message in ARABIC Language but the message received in ARABIC Language are not readable they are received as (??????????????????????????).
I have tried both enabling arabic and disabling arabic and have also restarted the device after enabling/disabling.
Following are my device info.
ROM Version: 1.30.82 WWE
ROM Date: 02/22/06
Radio: 1.09.00
ExtRom: 1.30.171 WWE
Would appreciate if some one can help mewith this.

I had the same problem but only if the other phone I am sending to is not localized in Arabic...try to send it to a full Arabized phone and let u know...

I tried to send the same ??????????????????????????????? message that I received to Nokia mobiles its working, I'm sending ??????????????????????????? but they are receiving message in arabic. Tried to send same to siemens mobile but they were unable to read the message.

Anybody has the Arabizer software that does work on the Universal and does not required a serial number?
Yes the problem is only in receving the message text. It's nto readable.
I've installed the lates ARABIC ROM, That was released officially on club imate site.
If I'm writing message to send it is readable. But as soon I'll send to my own mobile. it will receive as ????????????? but other will receive it as normal arabic message.
By the way, in the latest ARABIC ROM, ARABIZER is available.

Hello, i'm having kind of the same problem,
i have an english rom as well, (T-mobile 2.26). I put arabizer suite build 342 on there and i am able to read arabic text messages no problem, now i am unable to send readable messages whatsoever, the recipient always gets a ??????? in the messages.
how can this be fixed?

3. Choice options.
4. Choice text messages.
5. Choice ( Use Unicode when necessary ).........

I have Xda Orbit UK English (WM5) and will upgrade to WM6 rom soon. Often I receive text messages in Arabic, the arabic words in these messages appear with separated arabic letters (not making the word). The Arabic fonts seem to come from Pocket Islam. Do you have any idea how I can get these arabic text messages to apear correctly. Also would like to be able to wrirte arabic SMS. I do not need to make the Pocket PC in Arabic only SMS and perhaps email.
Would the the software you provide here be ok for me

Thank you for the Arabizer software but i installed it on my JasJar but it didn’t work correctly. When I tried to open the dictionary or Prayer Time applications, it gave this error "Can not run on this device". Any advice?

I've iMate K-Jam (Wizard) not a Universal, but I used to have the same problem when I upgraded to WM6, the problem was in the Arabizer version that I used to install
the attached Arabizer have solved my problem in all the programs that is using Arabic, I've to un-install the old one first.
but the only problem that left for me is the hardware keyboard, it didn't support writing in arabic, but it's ok for me
Please let me know if this solution is working with any of you, cause I'm thinking of exchanging my mobile with Universal

im using htc touch p3450, official rom with arabic enabled. unfortunately the mesgs im getting with arabic font but not readable. i used to forward the same to my n73 so i can read easily.
expect advise from this forum.
I have issues regarding the text messaging because there's a wait time per letter when using the keypad (eZitext - multitap)? Is there any software or an ugrade for it to make it faster?

some partners have already done some upgrading of their rom available in seeo2.com
but it is only for certain rom,,juat read it,,if you have the rom,,,u may upgrade it,,but some persons found that there will be troble in their bluetooth connections and their SD slot...

HTC has finally released the Official WM6 ROM. Also, ACE-HELLAS has released the Extended ROM for the Greek Language which actually changes the English Interface with Greek. Also it fixes a problem where Greek characters used in SMS even if Unicode mode is enabled, were send in 60characters messages. Now with the Version 0.4.2.1 this issue is resolved and 160characters messages with greek letters can be send.
This issue is also happening with B&B versions unfortunately, even with the Unicode Support and with Resco Keyboard usage.
When i tried (for experimental reasons) to upgrade the Extended ROM with the Official that came from ACE-HELLAS, i got:
ERROR [226] : FLASH WRITE
FLASH write error happened. Please checkyour PDA Phone.

Is there a possible way for someone expert to help us overcome this problem??? I on the other hand, cann't do much to help cause i really do not know anything about dev....

For the Greek mui We wait TOM to cook Greek Mui files to the new B&B 4.3
For 160sms see this and download the modified Greek dialpad.dll
ok so last night i installed a new ROM, HTC_P3300_SVE_3.13.413.1_4.1.13
44_02.94.90_Ship_R.
basically its the HTC ship for the p3300, and i chose the swedish version because im trying to learn that language.
so anyway, now that ive installed it, i text t-mobile so they will send me my GPRS settings, as always when i change my rom. theyve sent through the message telling me that they will send the message and the pin is 1234 when i want to confirm the settings
however i dont get the second message containing all those settings...ive tried loads of times but it just wont work.
has anyone else had this problem? how did they fix it, if at all? will I have to revert to a WWE rom?

Where did you found swedish rom? I need to flash my O2 Xda Orbit and I cannot download from official Swedish sites because my IMEI and serial numbers are not Swedish.
