Hey i don't know much.... but try restarting your PDA.... the first thing you do after all programs are loaded... goto input settings and choose.... the input method you want... then goto the options available for it... and confirm those settings and click ok.... then again exit input settings clicking ok.....
then while entering text in any application... select your input method again if it does not appear as a default.... then probably you won't have to do the above stuff again and again untill and unless you re-boot your device.....
There is a small program called Sip Change....it may fix the problem....
Hi, I cannot access phone settings after upgrading my Eten Glofiish X800 to 0402 WWE ROM. That is, nothing happens if I go to Start>Settings>Phone or select Options from dialer menu. I also cannot send or receive any SMSs. When I try to send, nothing happens. Otherwize, all functions are working fine. I can call and receive calls, browse, all the programs seem to be forking fine. Please help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
HOTFIXES:
Verizon MMS:
* Install the cab provided in the link below, then after install go into the Connections,
and delete everything there. After that is done, open Advanced
Config, press Menu, and press "Import provisioning XML".
Search for mxipupdate_oemoperators_102.provxml, and import it. Soft-reset, and MMS
should work.
Can some one tell me how to get to the "connections" the only connections i'm familiar with are the internet connections settings where you can manage the internet stuff, please help!
All these views and No help given
I'm hoping that someone could direct me to the "connection" part, so I can delete what it needed for this MMS install, I can get to the second part "Advance Config." with no problem, it's the first part that i'm confused with..."someone please help" this sucks I can't send or recieve MMS with NFS's V16, everything else is perfect with V16, I just can't figure this part out.

make sure you have your phone number (no hyphens) listed in X-VxW-MDN in your registry.
HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\ArcsoftMMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\X-VzW-MDN

This is the part that throws me off...in the link that is provided it gives you different directions than the one's NFS recently posted on his update page...So which one do I do? sorry for being such a Noob, im just clearly seeing 2 different ways to go about this MMS.... On 1 hand you have clear and simple steps "ok done" and on the other NFS just tells you to go to connections erase everything and then open up Advance Confg. and follow those steps, BUT again what "connections" does he speek of and what do I erase? Please Help
Thank U Thank U
I just wanted to thank those that helped me out... thanks guys!!!

default dialer fix
1. open Advanced Configuration on the programs menu
2. Scroll down to "Phone" and expand the Phone list
3. Select the top item (Phone skin)
4. Select "Disabled (default)"
5. soft reset and you should now have the default Microsoft phone
thank you! worked beautifully.....
First off... I did search all the threads and could not find any relevant information for the dash. I have the WM 6.1 ROM by Kavana.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Excalibur_WM61tzones
I tried following the instructions in that wiki to configure my MMS settings for T-mobile but when it says:
# Scroll to MMS
# Menu > Settings > Menu > MMSC Settings
I do not have menu item "settings" listed in my mms menu... I set it up before on my other phone but I cannot get to the page where I input that configuration info. Someone please help?
Thanks.
My apologies... the menu directory structure was not stated correctly in the wiki, i found the submenu which you can input the information. Mods, you may delete this thread if you wish.
hmm... it still says error synrchonising when i try to send/receive... i must be doing something wrong still...
put a "." in your username and password it will still say error but you will get your MMS's working
