Hi, I use can see in the title, my T-Mobile Dash does not prompt me unlock code when I put a SIM card different from T-mobile; Someone sent it from the USA, so I want to unlock in order to use it in this country (DR), but I cannot due to what I just wrote....

Good job that i can research you just upgraded to 6.5 for some reason the 6.5's don't promt the sim unlock codescreen, flash Kavana SIM unlock flash 6.5

I have no idea why it happens but i was trying to SIM unlock my Dash about a month ago and 6.5 wouldn't pop up the SIM unlock code box, so flashed to stock ROM code was incorrect so flashed back to 6.5 as why trying some snizzle, got a fresh unlock code this week and same deal but flashed stock code worked.
Could be anything

No, WM5 will not unlock your phone. You have to unlock your phone using the unlocker (search in forums), then upgrade to WM5.
I have seen in the Wiki that the unlocker works on WM5. So try it out
or unlock it before upgrading, to be on the safe side, just in case it dont work for any reason.

No, WM5 will not unlock your phone. You have to unlock your phone using the unlocker (search in forums), then upgrade to WM5.

You just need to cook a ROM at http://www.romkitchen.de/ and install. That will solve your problem. I had a Chiness OS and did the same thing. It's great now.

I flashed my t-mobile dash with the beta version of WM6. I'm not impressed with it, it sluggish and buggy. How would i go back to WM5, anyone have the software to do that.

I downloaded the t-mobile rom as well as the Excalibur Rom from that site. I'm running windows XP not vista. I keep getting error when re-flashing saying its not the correct vendor id or not the right RUU, or not the right device id. I was managed to load the t-mobile one, but it keep freezing and crashing and i keep having to restart the phone. How come i can't flash the excalibur ROM, i've read that its much more stable? Keep getting errors, i want to debrand the t-mobile. Can any one help me. Thanks

Have you come up with the CID unlock for the Dopod C730(HTC Cavalier)? I have a Dopod C730 and for some reason the WIFI seemed to be disabled and can't be turned on at all. I want to put the WWE ROM to see if it's the ROM or the hardware that's crippling the WIFI, but the WWE RUU gives me the wrong vendor error.

The most recent ROM is 1.16.708.7. I want to install 1.16.707.7.

I downloaded 1.16.707.7 and see if I can produce a "SSPL" which will allow you to flash any ROM. Will take a few days tho ...

You dont need a sim unlock if your sim isnt lockt, just flash the hard-spl.
I flashed the DesCrashproof, and never hade no problem with rom or radiorom flash.
ok, i did as you said. i have now wm6 on my p3600
