You just need to cook a ROM at http://www.romkitchen.de/ and install. That will solve your problem. I had a Chiness OS and did the same thing. It's great now.

Bootloader access
For bootloder mode with Magican, jest keep press power and camera buton and do a sofreset.
For to dowload the ROM, insert a SD Card and type d2s (bootloader command are like pervius version).
I dont know for Ext.rom and Radio!

There isn´t link for the Magican, or there´s very litle of it.
Evrything must by write yet! but almost is similar (bootloader comands, etc.) to previus version of Himalaya.

You download the rom you want from this wonderful site!
That changes the org. rom (forever) to the chosen one in english from I-mat, Qtek, MDA UK, and so on....

You have to unlock it - search here theres made a new free unlock programme....or through www.imei-check.co.uk

But another one question... the link in the post you've linked to me (a word joke ) to the imate rom don't exist... i think that is not still valid... where can i find a new rom? The procedure listed in the post is the same for all rom? The language suffix (WWE for example) that i have to use is from the rom installed or downloaded? (if i have germany rom installed and download a uk rom i have to insert WWE in the batch file?)
Sorry for all this question but how can you see i'm a really newbie

WWE is for english, you have to use your german suffix for your new UK-rom...

Hi,I do USPL unlock first and is it OK everything.After that I start Original english WM5 ROM,and then appears a error mesage:
ERROR 244:
"these error messages will appear when you use the wrong RUU (ROMUpdateUtility)to do the upgrade. RUU will check if the Model ID and Language ID are compatible with the device. Make sure you use the appropriate RUU tool to upgrade."
I not understand why is that mesage appear?????

Hello, i tried to flash Mda compact3 by using PDAMobiz_Dopod_P800W_AKU301_v1.1.2_PowerMap. after reset phone stuch on bootloader, screen info:
spl 3.15.0000
ipl 3.15.0001
gsm 02.94.90
os 1.28.0.0
phone had dutch language version 6 before.
Please help restore my phone

try this:
1. get the original ROM for your mob.[the one from the mda site]
2. flash your mob. with it using the SD CARD flashing.
i think this should work
And next time CID unlock first....

If you go to your service provider's website, they should have it somewhere there.
I have original HTC WWE somewhere in my hard drive, if you can't find one in the forum, I can upload it for you. Just give me a shout.

I found this rom online i put my phone on bootloader and i lunched the .exe then it worked, it took 5 minutes to reflash it to original version.
what i need now is how to uncid lock so i can change language by using vista
