i tried do search in the forum but a didn't find anything...
i have a P3600 (trinity) sim locked(TMN). Do i need to unlock it in order to install hardspl and a new rom, like a coocked one?

You dont need a sim unlock if your sim isnt lockt, just flash the hard-spl.
I flashed the DesCrashproof, and never hade no problem with rom or radiorom flash.
ok, i did as you said. i have now wm6 on my p3600

well just like the title says im new to this site and i would like to update my rom to the touchlo rom. but heres the problem im new to this stuff and i dont have a single clue on what programs i need. so could somebody help me out? it would be nice for a step by step guide or so. so xda developers please pimp my htc 3300!

no, you don't need to have it cid-unlocked. everything is in this great forum! read this:

after you've flashed your phone with the USPL, you can have ANY rom you want on your phone!
if you got tired of the rom of your choice, you can change it again! simply flash your device once more with the USPL, then flash with another rom of your fancy. as great as that!
remember, as a precaution, just ALWAYS flash your device with the USPL first before you flash again with any rom.
Thank you - however, Its not clear to me what that mod is for? Are there any PDA's out there which have gps, phone, wifi, bluetooth yet support SDHC?

He said it is very safe to flash any rom, because he installed something in my phone....sound likes "private the phone become a brick"...
Can anyone tell me what is my first step if I want to flash other rom for my phone??

I think your friend said: "prevent the phone becomes a brick.." and he was referring to the OliNex Signed HardSPL if I am not mistaken.
Well, don't be complacent though... when you are new you just got to READ, READ AND MORE READ..

I hope you had Hard SPL installed.
Do a search to see if you can find your carriers WM06 rom, it doesn't need to be WM05. Search is your friend here.

The radio ROM provides improvements on the GSM radio stack and this has effect on the GSM signal, AT command interface, GSM data modem (3G, GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, etc...) functionality that is controlled by the Radio Interface Layer (RIL)

Just remember though that if something stuffs up while flashing the radio rom, you are pretty much gonna end up with a brick... You may be able to use the PDA functions but phone will be gone forever...

I have a dopod 838 pro. Hardspl by olipro. Flashed roms with manilla 2d and right now suffering the same problem like kahwah..
Tried already the method of flashing original rom then to the cooked rom but still the same problem persist.
Can someone give me an idea on what to do next..

I am very confused about if flashing my XDA is possible or not. Using the Board-Search for some hours now did not give me the right threads. Pershaps I am using the false keywords.
So, if there is a thread I can solve my problem with, let me know, please. If not, I hope you can help me.
For about one year I have a O2 XDA Diamon. Systeminformation is as shown below:
ROM-Version 1.37.207.3 GER
ROM-Date 06/23/08
Radio 1.00.25.03
Prtocoll-Ver 52.26a.25.09H
I never updated the ROM. As I saw, there is a new O2-Firmware-Update. But I do not like the branded style. So, I want to flash it with an actual non-branded ROM in German.
As I read in other topics, that upgrading only works with special revisions.
For example here, written by rorydaredkign
yep you have to install a hardspl, either olipro's [which i think is unreleased] or the one made by the diamond project team.
then you can flash a new rom.
however, check your rom version in settings->system->device information
if it reads 1.34.831.1
it means you have a new spl that prevents you from flashing hardspl until the experts here create a work-around.

So, I am not sure if 1.37.xx is able or not.
Is there a way to upgrade my XDA? The WM-Version I am running is very instable and crashes very often.

Hi, I use can see in the title, my T-Mobile Dash does not prompt me unlock code when I put a SIM card different from T-mobile; Someone sent it from the USA, so I want to unlock in order to use it in this country (DR), but I cannot due to what I just wrote....

I have no idea why it happens but i was trying to SIM unlock my Dash about a month ago and 6.5 wouldn't pop up the SIM unlock code box, so flashed to stock ROM code was incorrect so flashed back to 6.5 as why trying some snizzle, got a fresh unlock code this week and same deal but flashed stock code worked.
Could be anything
