just like most of the issues HERE
My Touch Pro2 shows only 10% interval of battery, like 40% 50% 60% but just can't get 34% 55% etc..
Any solution?

I'm on here often and see of screen shots of peoples battery info. I don't see any one as high as mine. Here are my battery stats being unplugged for 6 hours and 1m
Display 74%
Cell stand by 7%
Phone idle 5%
Android system 5%
Dolphin hd browser 4%
Voice calls 2%
Swype 2%
I haven't used it much this morning so maybe the screen is taking up the most, but it always is the highest percent. Any ideas?

Are you running CM6?
Yes, is there an issue with this also?
Been unplugged for 2h 58m
My top is Cell Standby at 25%
Bottom is Display at 6%
rooted/forever/2.1/Hydra uv stock clock
I have auto-adjust off and keep the screen fairly dim, simply because that's how I like it not to save battery.

Im not sure if it is an issue but CM6 will show high display usage, where else other ROMs would usually show cell standby higher.
High display usage is a common theme on every single phone...it's what takes up the most battery in devices. Turn down your brightness if it's getting to be too much for you. Keep in mind that charge is the percentages of the battery taken up so far. so 75% of battery if you only have 10% gone is only 7.5% of your total battery.
After switching my wifes EVO to RC2, SZ 0.2.1, baseband 09.01 she had her battery die in less than 5 hours with almost no real usage.
When I looked at her battery stats it said this,
android system 30%
cell standby 23%
phone idle 19%
wifi 10%
display 9%
android os 5%
voice calls 5%
I have never seen the "android system" use that much battery.. its usually in the bottom of the usage stats. Can someone tell me what can be causing this?
Thanks!
its not that old, maybe 6 months old, about the last 3 times that my battery has nearly fully discharged, its not got all the way to 0% and has been going off at 3% but then when i plug the charger in and turn the tablet back on the battery shows as 0%
i also noticed the other day it was at about 4% battery and i wa son a pool game, the screen started flickering on and off, and then it turned off, not sure if that's just because it was on the very end of the battery, but was still around 4% anyway so should have been ok till 0%?
any ideas if i have something wrong or is it normal?
James
The tablet will shut off once the battery is depleted. Anywhere under 10% is normal. Letting your device run that low is hard on the battery and will reduce its lifespan.

The battery meter is not even remotely as accurate as you expect it to be. Its just an estimate of battery voltage versus how you are using the device. Don't expect it to be accurate to within a few percent, or even 5-10%.
Heck, I've had some devices show a drop of 20-30% and shutoff. Probably just some metering error, and it didn't happen often. But that tells you how inaccurate the meter can be.
As another mentioned, deep cycles are not good for the long term life of Li ion batteries. Charge fully and frequently.
battery jumps from 80% to 5% then turns off but when i charge it goes back to 100% after i hour charge.
anyone have any idea what problem is?
hardware/software or if battery just dying?
thanks
Hi all,
My phone drained 14 percent battery yesterday while idle for 9 hours. The interesting thing is when i add the mAh usages that i see in battery and performance tab it only adds up to 6 percent battery usage. ( i calculated and confirmed with time that 40 mah is aproximately 1% battery)
Also this morning i am seeing an unusual drain as well while the screen is on, it drained 5% but it should have draned only 3% because it says it drained 138 mAh.
Does anyone have any idea about this problem?
This also happened 2 weeks ago and the only thing common both days were, i charged my phone slower (charged using usb on the car) instead of using fast charging.
I also leave the screen shots that shows the battery usage.
