Hi all,
My phone drained 14 percent battery yesterday while idle for 9 hours. The interesting thing is when i add the mAh usages that i see in battery and performance tab it only adds up to 6 percent battery usage. ( i calculated and confirmed with time that 40 mah is aproximately 1% battery)
Also this morning i am seeing an unusual drain as well while the screen is on, it drained 5% but it should have draned only 3% because it says it drained 138 mAh.
Does anyone have any idea about this problem?
This also happened 2 weeks ago and the only thing common both days were, i charged my phone slower (charged using usb on the car) instead of using fast charging.
I also leave the screen shots that shows the battery usage.

Hi,
I'm using the 1%-battery indicator from the sticky thread but I was wondering how precise it is. I usually have quite long battery life (HSDPA + PushSMS on, BT + WiFi turned off). After around 24hrs I still have 40% left. After using it some more the battery is drained of course but the final 25% seem to go 10x faster as the other 75%.
I just checked my phone and it had 15%, now only 6 minutes later is only has 8%. At this rate my phone should only last 1.5 hrs approx.
Is this a flaw in the indicator or an issue with my battery?
Hello everyone
I got my DHD last week on tuesday, very happy with it so far!
So I was playing Slice It for about an hour and a half, and my battery went from 100% to 56%.
Battery Use shows this:
1h 36m since unplugged
Display 58%
Slice It 29%
akmd 5%
Android System 4%
Cell Standby 2%
Mediaserver 2%
Wi-Fi was off the whole time, brightness was at about 15-20%, and the volume at about 35%...
Is this normal for the battery to run out so quickly?
P.S. I did charge the battery for 8 hours before any use like the manual said.
Cheers
Yeah its normal for a less than 2 week old battery. My battery got progressively better every week up until week 5 or so.
Your battery will get better. Plus you were using your phone quite heavily so everything sounds about normal.
The battery doesn't last too long on the DHD. I've noted marked improvements by using a combination of JuiceDefender and AdvancedTaskKiller minimising bg apps.
I bought G Pro day before yesterday. The device is amazing and i love it but i have got a small problem. First day i charged battery to 100% and i got a day usage with 25% of brightness set with screen on time for about a little less than 4 hours which is amazing. Yesterday i had to charge phone twice because the battery depleted within 2 hours on screen time and moderate usage like calls n text (no gaming). Today morning 80% power was left of second charge. I went to college and and did not use the phone much but battery got completely depleted within 1 hour of screen on time at 50% brightness. When i came home back i charged the phone to 100%, when i disconnected charger from phone the charge dropped immediately to 98%. After 3 mins it fell to 93% and now is depleting fast. there is no apps running in background or anything and no apps showing up in battery stats that may be depleting battery. Any solutions to this? can it be faulty battery? Plz Help!!!
Edited: viber or whatsapp was causing this battery drain. I rooted my phone n installed greenify. Hibernating all user apps fixed the battery drain. If anyone has battery drain issue may try this solution.
Hi,
I been using my Sony Smartwatch 3 now for a few weeks and in general I'm happy with it, however, a few times the battery has discharged very quickly.
Here's one example:
1. Fully charged at 10:00am on 05/01/15
2. Watched turned off at around 23:00 on 05/01/15 with about 75% battery remaining. No charger was connected.
3. Watched turned on at around 07:30am on 06/01/14 with about 75% battery remaining.
4. At around 20:30 on 06/01/14 the watch still had about 40% battery left.
5. At 21:00 on same day, the watch was dead - battery had drained 40% in 30 minutes.
I have attached a screenshot of the batter usage.
Anyone else had a similar experience?
Regards,
George.

Hi
Have the same mystiq battery drain, have approx 20-30% left and then after approx 1 hour its dead
Will try to remove all customized watchfaces for a week and see if that solves it
with not even moderate use, the battery drained down to 30% in 10 hours. I have not experienced this fast drain before on Pixel C. :crying:
system 24%
10% used by media.extractor
I'll restart and charge now (hopefully that's it) but i'm still interested:
can anybody tell me, what that media.extractor actually does?
