(UPDATED) Touchflo cube + Black magic + VP3G rom + Instructions + links to rom

I posted before that I got this working flawlessly without worrying about editing the registry or worrying about soft resetting and so forth.

Before I start I will have to say thanks to JJ AND HIS TEAM FOR MAKING THE TOUCH ALPHA CAB + THE-EQUINOXE in the wizard forum for giving me some insight of how he got his working in the wizard forum.
1. First you need to download a rom kitchen you can use bepe or the core pro kitchen for hermes.

2. Download the Touch alpha cab here. http://rapidshare.com/files/38619462/Touch_Flo__Alpha_.cab.zip
3. Download the-eqinoxe files from here

4. Download any rom.
so far i tested vp3g's and black magic and both works.
a. Dump the rom you are interested in.
b. Create packages WITH PACKAGE TOOL.
the equinoxe files you download you only need this file. HTC Touchflo Cube
Now this is the tricky part.
1. open the { touch.dll} folder and cut and paste the actually {{touch.dll file}}just the DLL.file itselF into your kitchen>OEM>OEMDrivers>TOUCH.DLL and overide the existing touch.dll file.
2. Put the remaining {touch.dll folder} into the OEM.
3. YOU HAVE ALREADY TAKEN THE TOUCH.DLL FILE FROM THE {{HTC Touchflo Cube}} SO PPLEASE PUT THIS FOLDER INTO THE KITCHEN OEM AS WELL.
THAT is it now build os and create rom.
After flashing back the OS onto your system install the TOUCH ALPHA CAB, IT WILL ASK FOR YOU TO RESET THE DEVICE.
1. Assign the TOUCHFLO TO ANY HARDWARE BUTTON AND WALLA YOU GOT THE CUBE WORKING FLAWLESSY.
I have been using for over two days now without any probs apart from it not working when your device is syncing, or if your ram is very low close some of your apps go into windows click on biotouch and click on touchflo button and it will work without soft resetting.
This is just my own testing and this is my first giving to the XDA family which has given me alot.
p.s just the cube which works no finger scrolling support

Can you please explain in more detail or there is a HOWTO in the forum

Likw what you said button flo but it works. i think the trick to get touch to work is in the TOUCH.DLL which needs to port in the hermes as to what they did on the french wizard rom.

So is this Buttonflo again or Touchflo?

Why do all this if you can use a cab to achieve the same results? obviously the touch.dll doesnt enable the touch interface so why do unneeded cooking and risk n00bs screwing up their phones because you tell them the hard way of doing it when all they must do is install a simple cab, restart, and it runs fine?
This thread seems pointless...

Pointless how? Do you have full touch capabilities? I noticed you had a bit more function the way you did it but I believe this thread is implying full function but I am lost so someone please enlighten me. Also Custel, have you made your cab available? Thanks in advance to everyone working on this.

custel y the aggression ur right I should put make sure ur device has got hard spl v7 but saying this thread is pointless is saying ur new rom is pointless as well.
Out of 10 person who install the alpha cab and just want the cube to work only about 1 including me will work for sometimes 9 out of 10 you get black interface when trying.
with this method you will never get a black screen the only thing I have seen it done is when your ram is low u have to close some of ur running programs and start biotouch and the click on touchflo again without restarting ur device.
I think this is half way through getting the full touch flo working on hermes. peace out.

I didn't know I didn't use JJ's cab, I made one and it was working fine for me then again i didnt release it so maybe I was the 1 in 10 that it worked for...

Doode. I got it work with out all that. I just flashed to magik, installed the TF alfa cab, deleted the startup bio file and deleted the registry and
BLAMMO
Touchflo-Button style.
So I don't know what you're talking about but I don't even think the finger thing will work cuz the effin screen isn't compatible

then why does it work on wizard?

Just FYI, runnin majic I just installed alpha and assigned the button and sr and its worked all day loooong with no glitches. This means I bypassed pretty much everything, no deleting in the registry or start up folder

Its not the hardware... the touch.dll is required for the finger motion stuff...

ONCE AGAIN awesome contributions from xda developers finest members thanks again ,and please nver go the evil way of not sharing your skills!!

Button Touchflo won't work after keyboard slideout
Does anyone notice once you slide out the hardware keyboard and rotate the screen back from landscape, activate button touchflo will not work...
(have to goto /windows and run biotouch again, then touchflo button again, but intermittent blank screen problem)

Worked the first time!
I got it working after a fresh install of Black Majic then I started to use Pocket IE and tried running it again it just gave me blank screen again. And I haven't had it working since and I don't want to reinstall the ROM again to just make it work and not work again. Any suggestions? I also tried soft-reset, deleting bio link and registry stuff.

quite similar but u need to click a software to run it.
I was wondering if HTC going to change all to TouchFLo ROM even for non-Touch series....

IAW our resident experts, there is no way to include Touchflo (finger scrolling) via Cab files, only possible by a cooked ROM.
But if you want finger scrolling i have tried SPB plus 4 (commercial package not freeware, only enables finger in certain aplications) and Ftouchflo (look at Dev and Hacking subforum here at XDA DEV).

I´m very happy with ftouchflo. In order not launching it at every soft reset, i have included a lnk to it at start up folder, so it loads by itself.

Download version 1.4.1 from here

copy downloaded file to any folder in your device.
In file explorer, tap on downloaded ftouchflo.cab file: that installs ftouchflo.
in order to start it, go to programs, and tap on the just created ftouchflo icon: now you have fingerscroll functionality.

yo i just got a sprint ppc6800 mogul and was tryin to find out how to install touchflo.i went to the site on my phone and did wat it says and my phone still looks the same can someone help me out here plzz...?

I just insatlled the TF3D config on my X1 downloaded elsewhere from this wonderful forum including HD Themes and backgrounds pictures collected from the forum. It worked like charm on my X1 updated with Touch-IT X1 M-HD 1.1. Just wanted to share with all.

installed the cab file but nothing hapned

Have you tried going to Start, Settings, Today, Items then selecting the TF3D

You actually goto Start/Programs/Diamond TF3D Config
But....I've tried it and it crashes on mine with a Null reference error.

Its killed my touch screen and I cant navigate the start menu to uninstall or reset(hard)
I know I can press left and right button and soft restart = hard restart but is there a way to fix this without hard reset?

Yup, Killed my touch screen as well. Not recommended to use yet.
If you use the slide out keyboard, you can use the windows key and the d-pad to navigate to settings/system/remove programs

Try and delete the tweaks-file in the applications folder.

no problem running this on my x1

if you download the cab file from my XION ROM THREAD; THE ONE CALLED DIAMOND.... for xperia.cab it will work perect, and with the tweaks, but be carefule with the tweaks, as some work and some dont, some makes you have to hardreset the phone, and thats the performence tweaks.

If I remember correctly you have to be careful to untick TF3D from Today, then install & reset, then tick TF3D back.
Worked fine on mine EXCEPT it seems to have screwed up the "People" tab, I can't add any contact but still can access the menu (I've also added the "Comm Manager" Tab").
Anyone has the same problem? a fix??

this tools is intended for a previous version of a previous version of the first version of tflo3d that we currently have on our device... so make your conclusions.
It should works on some parts but I strongly discourage you to use it

I get an "unexpected error"
I did delete the tweak.xml file, but still get the same error.
Anyone with solutions?
I also tried Diamond...for xperia.cab, still the same error.

I'm pretty sure this is not possible at all... One of the great cooks here at xda would already have done it! TouchFlo is far too deeply inbedded in the ROM to be installed via cab!

I would be very interested in something like this myself and do not think it is impossible. I remember from my old days when I had found a cab file to install HTC Home onto a Windows 5 Xda. It was a hit in the Xda forum then. So to say, it's not impossible.

In there you'll find all the manila files. not sure what you're gonna do with them though, there's thousands!

New Tab for Manila: Programs

While I was browsing by a Russian Forum I discovered a new application for Manila. So, all credit goes for the developer ( I have not changed the name of the original cab), it adds a new tab call Program where you can add up to 30 Program links. Although its intended to work on Manila v 1922 and my version is 20121412 I decided to give it a try. Previously I made a backup of all my files just in case.
Ok, after installed it and soft reset my phone I have seen that all works perfectly so I have thought that maybe it could useful for someone else. In my case, I prefer to have all my useful program at one shot.
I have added 4 pics to you can see how its works on my phone. Currently using Max Manilla v2.5 beta 3.

Think you may Have the wrong CAB posted, this is only a clock setup that I can see not programs tab

Nice.Although with max manila this is a bit useless.

Sense refuses to launch after installing this on miniterros 4.1 rom, manila version 2.5.2012.1225 (Rhodium 2.07 based) with MaxManila 3.0 installed.

Although its works in my case I can not ensure to work in others, so I encourage you to make a backup prior to install it, just in case.

It uninstalled fine and Sense works now, just wanted to let people know it seems to be incompatible with the Rhodium 2.07, 2.5.2012.1225 build.

I don`t know why we need to install any cab when the Manila 2.1 Sense have already Program Tab by default?!

The CAB is not for manila 2.1 it's for 2.5.1922.

and for 2012..

With the manilla version in the NRGZ28 roms, 2012, manilla doesn't load anymore when this cabifile is installed. Anyone has a fix?

Function has been tested in several manila ROM with positive results 2.5 It does not work correctly , the only thing he lacked these ROM to use the system in professional roles, it seems that only created for use multimedia messaging and forgetting that many use it in our professions.
This tab is essential to have direct access to all applications without having to navigate home and folders. If you want to use the tab for all these programs limited to using the manila 2.1. It's a shame because the manila 2.5 provides fluidity, improved resources and capabilities that do not have in 2.1.
Do you ever create a ROM purely and exclusively for business use?
