hi im having trobble with mobile error i have instaled a number of new roms and theres afew roms like the new 6.5 some of the 6.1 that i get this message when i go to sim manger to place my contacts from sim to phone some times it will transer some of my numbers but not all of them and other times it does dont work it comes up with mobile error i have done hard resets and soft resets ive taken out the sd-card when flashing and i have no idea how to slove this would be greatful if someone could help me is there something i need to install or upgrade ect ect i have no idea thanks in advance

I have had the same problem with WM6.5 and 6.1 and this was why I returned to WM6. Maybe the sim manager is not compatable with WM6.

I got an "old" Blue angel from a friend of mine. It works fine, except of the phone. On Boot it says NO GSM. I tried soft and hard resets, but this didn't work.
He said it all started when he upgraded to a new Win Mobile version.
How do I upgrad or downgrad the whole system to another version von win mobile. or whar else can i do

well i've bought a htc s620 on ebay and it has windows mobile 6 standard beta on it. CE OS 5.2.1215. i've tried installing wm 6.1 by kavana on it but at 3% it just exits and said image is corrupt but that very same image worked on a BT s620. i've tried application unlock on the s620 and it says "phone is not unlockable". what can i do to remove the beta version and install 6.1? btw i've to set a wrong date to be able to use the beta version else it will lock the phone and i won't be able to use it

Hello Zecanilis, i have used the "Artemis Update SPL (USPL) v.01" and then the "ARTEMIS_RUU" to have windows mobile in portuguese, and it worked for a cople of days, but since last friday i think, i cant use it as a phone. It says allways "A procurar".

Hi everyone.
I also have an friend's artemis that was always 100% until a few days ago.
It went with no apparent reason from normal GSM Service to "Limited Service" and the to "No SIM Card".
I've tried:
1- Downgrade and upgrade radio Rom's
2- Hard Reset
3- Reinstall Ark's ROM (but the problem is not here for sure)
4- Install Original WM6 PTG ROM
5- Test different SIM Card's
Still all I get is the "No SIM Card" message.
Any ideas before a trip to HTC Service Centre?
Hi guys, i had a similar issue sometime ago, with the sim card and the micro sd card, with me it was the contact pins of the device that were a bit dirty, and the sim was a bit old too, i changed the sim card and cleaned the pins, after that i had no more issues.

That wasn´t my problem because i put him a new simcard and it doesn´t work.
If i put automatic search it keeps searching all the time, if i put manual, i choose the brand (TMN), he gives the signal but don´t make calls, don´t receive, nothing...

I have an MDA3 and recently upgraded it to wm 6.5 21630 by Sun-Dream, I now have no service for the phone.
I have been reading here on the forum to put it back to 2003 and change the phone settings.
It wont downgrade back to 2003, i can flash it all ok, it restarts, set the stylus screen then when it says click the screen to start using it freezes, I have tired 3 different roms even the official one from T-Mobile.
It will go back to wm 6.1 or 6.5 no problems, all i need is my phone back.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Are you performing a hard reset after flash?
also you should make sure to remove the sim and sd card from the device for the up- and downgrading process, as it can mess up your radio and stop you from being able to make calls. if a hard reset does not help, you should try down- and re-upgrading your radio.
some users also reported that the sim card can actually be harmed during the upgrade process. give the card a try in another phone. if it doesn't work anymore, that could also be the issue. most carriers replace broken sim cards for free.
but you should try out the different methods from easy (hard reset) to the most drastic, which would be a new sim. also, you might want to compare your upgrade process to the one in my tutorials. if you did anything different, that could have caused this problem.
i have htc hd 1 and it was working very good
then i made something like reset and upgrade to 6.5 and not working . each time said (insert sim card).
after that i return to windows mobile 6.1 but not working too.
but i find when i restart the mobile it read for 20 sec then bring me the same message.
i don't know how to fix it
