My Artemis doesn't connect to the network anymore!

Suddenly my HTC P3300 doesn't connect to the Orange network.
I had the phone for over a month and now doesn't work anymore.
I have an italian SIM card and it works perfectly.
If I choose the automatic connection, the device keep searching forever, if I choose the manual, can't connect.
Not sure what happen here, Any ideas?
I'v tried soft, hard reset upload a new ROM, nothing!

Sounds more like a service provider issue than a phone issue.
Put the original ROM back in and then go to the nearest Orange store and tell them the problem.

I thought the same, but I think that there is something wrong with the actual device... If I try to choose any other available network that is not Tmobile, doesn't work..

Where did you buy your phone from?
It was a brand new? or 2nd hand

did U upload a pdamobizROM? If yes did U tried to restore anything from any bkup(sunnysoft, sprite, spb ....)I mean ie contacts or appointments ...?
If yes try other rom i found this prob with this rom. after restoring any bkup, it stops to connect to network(phone at least)

Yups same problem i have encountered with PDAMozbiz 1.1.2 ROM and am seeking help ..... is there anyone who can dedicate some of his precious time to help me out on this?

The SIM card is missing

Hi,
I upgraded my Artemis to MW6 and now I get this error. "The SIM card is missing".
My ROM version is: 3.4.0.207.2 WWE
Radio Version: 02.67.90.

just install the sim card again and the problem is over. That worked for mij artemis

i have arte100 wich has the same problem ...how to install sim card ?!

remove the battery cover and remove the battery, then remove the sim card by unlocking the clip and then place it back in and boot it up again

I had the same problem. I put another SIMCard in my Artemis and it was detected. After this my "old" Card worked again, too.
Removing battery and so on didn't solve the problem...

I had a probleme like that...i tried everything... nothing changed... Finally, I was really lucky, Orange changed my mobile for free (it's was still under warantly).

i tried tons of different sim cards,i opened the phone and put back together at least twice... nothing seems to work...

remove both sim card and sd card and flash the rom again and it should work...
i usually flash my device with both of them,but it is generally suggested to remove them

the same thing happens to me. i insert my t-mobile sim and everything works fine. but when i try my 3 sim nothing works!
im about to try another sim. wish me luck

looks like it was just the sim. 3 is one funny company. i hate them anyways!

For the problem solved by :
-Upgrade ROM with the last HTC original ROM (for me : HTC_P3300_FRA_3.13.406.1_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship_R.exe)
-USPL with "1.11.cmon"
-Upgrade or Downgrade to Rom Radio 3.18.90
-Upgrade with a new rom (for me Shady313 build 23034b1)
-Upgrade Rom Radio to 3.21.90
At the end, you will have a ARTE100 with :
IPL : 3.13.0001
SPL : 1.11.cmon
Radio : 3.21.90
Rom : ....

My Solution
Same problem here
My solution is:
1. Open Comm Manager
2. Switch on Plane Mode (by selecting Plane icon)
3. Switch on Phone Mode again (by selecting Phone icon)
This solution work most of the time for me.

the cellphone gets worst and worst untill one day it never reads a sim card again... I changed the rom from a device and I unlocke SIM and CID, but forgot to remove the SIM card, is this the reason ?
how could i solve this because I see really nice 6.5 WMs out there... I luckly sent the phone back to HTC in brazil and they changed for me, but I am scared to try again, is there anyone here who knows a solution ???
or how to avoid this ?

On mine I did this and worked:
go to registry editor
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE\ControlPanel\Phone
Menu New DWORD Value
Name it ShowSim
add the value 1 and press ok
(maybe a restart is needed)

hey, my artemis has just started doing this, for the past few days i go to sleep at night and device is ok, but when i wake up in the morning my device says ''insert SIM'' and no programs work but ''start menu''..
* i was going to take a screen-shot with V.SNAP and make a thread - but no programs would open..at all... weird because if device is booted with no SIM card, programs work.. never mind tho.lol
so i reset device and when it boots back up my SIM card is recognised but with no signal.
so i reset device and it works again..hmmmm..
* this does not happen every day, but its happening more often
i first noticed something was wrong when all was normal and then the signal bar turned into ''!'' and would stay like that until soft reset.
really hope that this is not the start of something bad.

my artemis just wouldnt load the sim card the other day - at all!
Heres how i got it back to life again...
Open the device up and check all screws are screwed in properly, clean and put back together..
Easy!

Hermes dont' detect sim

I have schaps 3 rom ,with 1.51 radio (for almost 1 month),everythign was working fine , yesterday all of a sudden i had no signal , sim not detected,same sim in other phone work , but hermes fails to detect any sim ,even without a sim card when I restart the phone I don't get simcard not detecete or missing issue.
Any ideas ? Should I try changning the radio rom ?

You may want to try the following...
1) Do a full backup of your phone (Sprite or SPB Backup)
2) Hard Reset your phone...
3) If Sim still not detected, reflash your phone again with your last WM6 OS or your phone's original OS.
4) After reflash.... check your SIM...
If your SIM is still not being detected, clean the contacts where the Sim contacts your phone with a cotton swab..
If that still doesn't work... your phone may be damaged and may need repair or replacement....

what if my hermes detects one simcard perfectly and the gets the sim menu for the other one but it is unable to recieve signals and just keeps on searching for a network....tried hard reset and no luck ....using schaps 4 and 1.54.07 at&t radio rom...
what should i do now?

it would appear you'll need to reflash with a radio version that it likes or accepts - try flashing with an orginal rom, then u know its definately not the handset - just your rom that your flashing with

I just tried the 1.54 rom , doesn't do anything , I am able to do a rom update but when I try the radio update I get stuck in the bootloader altogether , then I again have to do a complete rom update.
I've been reading in the forum , I am yet not getting any gsm error , but as I mentioned I am getting all Radio as 0 ,Imei as 0 when it does start.
Mind it,I started getting all this ,just all of a sudden, I wasn't flashing anything.
I have downloaded some older radio rom's , will try to see if they work and post here , finger crossed

ASUS P750 GSM modul problem

Hi there! (First of all, Yep I've used the Search button)
I've just got a P750, and as soon as I got it, I've flashed a VGA Rom to it. Everything went good, the device started up as normal, and I've got the VGA resolution. After I've put a SIM card to and I've recognized, that the phone doesn't starts. It says that theres no signal. After may tries, with another SIM cards, I've flashed another Rom, and another, but the problem is still there, even after a Radio modul update, and even after the Official Rom.
Anyone has the sam problem, or got the solution for it?

I have the same problem. It happened before I started flashing the phone. Just like with you, flashing and upgrading the radio firmware didn't help.

i've got the same problem. i could solve it with setting my phone only to GSM-networks and not 3g/umts manually (done under connections tab)
but i got the issue with original official asus wm6.1 rom!!!
after contacting the support, they said it would cost me at least 150 euros! so i got rid off this crapy phone and bought myself an HTC, again
but if someone has an solution, i would try it of course.

No GSM/No Service on XDA IIs (BA)

Hi,
When i first got my BA, i upgraded from WM2003 to WM6.
This worked ok for everything (A few glitches here and there but i could live with them), but then, my phone battery had ran out, i charged it and loaded it up again and it now shows No Service on the today screen, so I can't make any calls off it.
I also noticed that when the phone boots it shows No GSM where it used to have 2 different numbers.
I've tried reflashing it to WM5, and also to WM6.1 but both of these didn't seem to fix it. The WM6.1 version I used can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=390862
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Yes, fix is quick and easy and you can do it even at home: a soft reset.

I wanted to try upgrading my Radio rom but when I ran the updater I got error 114. I'm not too sure what this means though?

Solution against "No Service" issue
Have a lot of Siemens SX66's. Just took one and ran unlocker, then flashed WM 6.0 and upgraded radio to 1.15.00. After that inserted SIM card and saw permanent "no service" message. Tried HR few times for no avail. Here's what really helped: I ran universal unlocker once again and then did soft reset. Voila! System booted and connected to GSM network. Hope somebody will find this useful.

At boot screen I see

and boot process stops at this position.
Once my BA was booted up with this trouble, and goes to reboot and all repeats again.
I can't reflash radiorom.
At 61% I have "Error 114: Radiorom upgrade error"
I tried to reflash radioroms from 1.02 to 1.15, but nothing positive.

No, my problem is because of some kind of error during unlock process, I guess. And your problem appears to be similar to "No GSM" issue of Hermes phones. But it may be repairable unlike Hermes ones...

Look for a link under word "this"

i had this problem, heres what i did that made it work,
1.re-insert the battery
2.press the on button
3.press the reset button TWICE
EVERY time you turn it off and on do this, but if you reset the phone you dont need to do it twice.

Partial solution for "No signal" problem
I think the idea was posted by xplode sometime ago- I spent a day playing with it, but it finally worked for me.
0) I had unlocked BA with 2003. Later on I upgraded it to WM 6.1 and then at some point I've got this "No service" issue. I upgraded my Radio to 1.15 (it did not help me- but I did this in the very beginning, so may be it matters)
1) I downgraded ROM to one of 2003 ROMs (xplode has a collection: http://tinyurl.com/cozbbx)

2) I unlocked band page for the network connection- it was discussed in (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=297099)
2.5) I finally used this cab : http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=23788&d=1121269005 to set band selection to 900/1800 (still no service)
3) I removed sim card and did a hard reset followed by soft reset. I put a sim card back and soft reset BA.
--- I guess at this point it's 2003 with 900/1800 band and working
4) I upgraded my ROM to 6.5 and it is working now.

Lucky You that I still have troubleshooting tutorial in my file archive. I've written it by myself when was unlocking many of these devices.
Although I'm not sure if it will help with symptoms You listed...
Here it is what you can try to do if your Blueangel PDA phone constantly showing "No Carrier" and it is not possible to enter phone settings:
1. Take off the battery from the phone while it is turned on.
2. Place the battery back in, turn on the phone. At bootup there should be stated "NONE" instead of versions of "R" and "G" (seems that it is required to be so).
3. After OS had boot, run the Unlocker. Few times, maybe.
4. Reboot.
