As far as I know only voice clips are enabled, Skype works fine though

I hope MS will do something about it
and there is not other software compatible with MSN and can do this?
The Anwser : FRING
or you could use a ap called FRING, site : www.fring.com, in this app you have msn, skype, icq, google talk, etc... and you can chat by writing and voice(including msn) in all of then try it its free

does it display pictures and emotions?
yup, it does but limited, some might not display... u can try it out then unistall it if u dun like it
and you can send files to other users too..
Try verichat.
verichat dot com.
this is a great (trillian like) progam. It isll keep you logged on even if your gprs is not. It uses sms to wake your phone up. If you have the gprs off and someone im's you you get a pop up saying Chat or Ignore.
great program.
30 day trial.
hint: if you hard reset it starts over. Since most of us playing alot with these do that every month give it a try for a while.
hello i would like to help me how i can use msn messenger or skype with camera.
i cant find a program to use my q-tek9000 camera at msn or skype.

you cannot use your phone camera for msn and skype like webcam.. at least not without a pc

Missing features in Windows Live Mobile <> Window Live Messenger alternatives?
Hi,
Why isn't Windows Mobile Live Messenger not the same as Windows Live Messenger?
A capability of video conferencing would be nice (like webcam or videoconference in Windows Live) or the other usual features (send pictures/voiceclips) but most easy is the direct envelope button to get in your hotmail via a cookie.
What's the latest version by the way and isn't there any official link to a cab or something?
If you know an alternative messenger with the above possibilities let us know!
I tested palringo, with this one I could send pictures and voiceclips...
Thanks,
Innovator
it's different because the device is massively lower spec than a home or office PC and streaming video calls over the mobile network could work out very expensive for the novice users who arent expecting it...plus most devices dont have a front-facing camera yet.
you can set up a favourite in internet explorer for your hotmail to automatically login if you want
alternatively, if you've got a decent data-plan you could set it up to sync "as items arrive" which will automatically update your mobile's hotmail account with your live hotmail account ... so theres no need to log in at all
i dont think you CAN download it separately, it tends to be cooked into the roms and so isnt user-upgradeable....but you might get lucky and find a link if you use the search on this site
isn't there any other program/tool for video conferencing then?
We can always turn our P3300 and look into the cam and turn back to the front screen, better then nothing...
ateksoft's webcam plaus will turn your phone's camera into a webcam, but doesnt have any conference facilities or anything. It will just let your desktop PC use your phone as a webcam (when connected)
dont know of any program to do what you want, but someone else here might
hi,
i have an unlimited internet at my mobile phone. Now i thought about this: when you and an other person both have that, and have windows mobile, it must be possible to send free text messages like sms if you both install an program?
does someone know if there's a program such as this?

You could email them, thats what I do.
for an att user it would be:
[email protected]
[email protected] = verizon
[email protected]
etc etc, you can google for the endings.
Or you could use mobile msn messenger.
or palringo or yahoo or jabber or any of the millions of others instant messaging client programs around.
I notice that some people say they have a problem with using Facebook chat not been able to connect. I had the same problem and I'm not sure if its already been said but it could be down to your service provider, a possible solution anyway.
How can I back this up? I notice that that when I try to connect through Virgo mobile it won't connect. But when I do it through WiFi it connects perfectly. I'm not sure 100% but it maybe that, it only ever connects for me when I use WiFi so not sure if its bug with phone or not, just a thought though.
i noticed, that my facebook chat didint work until i allowed my windows live messenger to link to facebook chat via the windows live messenger client on my desktop..

I too for the longest time couldn't get it to work. Tried this the other day and it works like a charm. I guess I figured since I had synced my fb contact information it would be good to go, but you need to manually lync up Messenger and FB.
