hi, welcome to the forums, you need to check the diamond forums http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=428, before you do any flashing, you should flash HardSPL to your phone. I'm new to the xda-developers forum.
I've carefully read all informations available on the wiki and in various threads of the forum, and I have to say that I'm a little confused with upgrading / downgrading stuff.
First of all, I have a SPV M3100 bought in France, Simlocked to Orange France (HERM100, IPL 1.01, SPL 1.11).
I would like to test the official HTC WM6 ROM, but I'm not sure on how I should process.
First, as far as I have understood, it is a good idea to install HardSPL v7, which allows me to flash the HTC Rom on my Orange France CID-locked device. Am I right ?
Second step, I have downloaded the HTC_TyTN_FRA_3.54.256.2_103_6275_1.47.00.10_108.exe file from the following thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=320829
From here I'm not sure on how to proceed.
Knowing that I would like to be able to rollback to the official WM5 rom shipped by Orange France (which I have already downloaded from the wiki), what should I do:
- either flash the WM6 rom directly. I'm afraid of "overwriting" the hardspl v7 stuff in the device ?
- or extracting the content of the WM6 rom and doing all the stuff described in http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_UpgradeGuide to remove the bootloader from the ROM ?
I have read some posts about custom RUU too... What does this means ? Am I concerned ?

i like to install the Faman_FR_3.3_Trinity1620 rom on my htc.
I've already install this version of wm6 on HTC P3600 .

you are in the wrong forum for your device! Go to Diamond if you have questions about the diamond.
BTW, you must use Roms which were designed for your device!

I've upgraded my Diamond to rev 2 (official rom downloaded from HTC site) and want to upgrade to the cooked rom but cant hardspl anymore.
I will be really appreciated if you kindly specify a proper ungigned hardspl.

Is it possible to flash an Artemis ROM on Love. Because got a very cheap new Htc P3350 and want to flash it with the original German ROM.
I know how to hard SPL and so on. I only want to know if all the tools and ROMs will work?

Yes they will Work.
But do not flash with original ROMs or you will brick your device.
Just run USPL and then flash it with a ROM without IPL or SPL.
