I hate to switch to the I-mate ROM if these are just the test ROMs. Thanks for posting.

ship on the end suggests its final, as the older jasjar roms are no longer on the ftp

Is there any change that this ROM suport A2DP ?

moghisi101 is downloading the WWE version, he suggested waiting for him to upload it here as the IMATE ftp is slow enoguh without all of us trying to download it at the same time. I can't wait to test it!

Done, the Push is here, but not the BT stuff, worked well, will soon cook the Ex Rom. Also the Radio 1.09.00 is there no need to "cook" the installation, now how can we remove this Battery icon for the clock ?

The Italian version on the ftp site gives 'country id error' with my original Italian jasjar, so it is not ready or not Italian.

just flashed the new ROM and made a hard reset ... the device is totally dead!!! .... the hard reset menu is active, but nothing happens after pressing zero ... any ideas ??? :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Try to remove the SD and the Sim cards and repeat the update.

My device went dead yesterday when i tryed to flash the new rom, tryed every thing ... nothing
But this morning i manage to put it in bootloader mode, and flash it again and it went ok, is now working with the new rom.

Anyone figured out yet if these ROMs are official?
Is the SA one for South Africa?

Hi ... how did you manage to get to the bootloader mode ? ... I have a blank black screen and the PC doesn't recignize the device at all

i really dont understand all these issues that people have re-flashing, mine went perfectly with the beta and the "ship" release.
which by the way still isnt actually on the site yet, so dont know what they are playing at.
seemed to work fine for me, and the Fn -> works now...
I would have thought imate to imate shouldnt cause any problems whatsoever and should work really smoothly, but i noted that some with the issue were imate upgraders, so tell me, what did you do or not do?

Can someone list what is new in this ROM???

nothing but the usual ... conncted the device and ran the upgrade file ... finsihed smoothly ... made a hard reset and here I am with a blank black screen .. BTW, the hard reset menu doesn't show up either :evil: :evil: :evil:

internal GPS stopped working with P3300

Hey I've just install WM6 on my HTC P3300 and the GPS stopped working at all and navigation software doesn't even know that there is internal GPS what can I do ? (I dont reall care if I have to downgrade to WM5 just tell me HOW) Thank You guys !!!

Ok did you read the howto flash a ROM on ARTEMIS?
If yes you probably saw a line that told you to flash twice your P3300.
It often resolve flashing problems. GPS usually use COM4
You can test with free GPS software or with Navio software.

COM Ports
I may be wrong but I seem to have a vague recollection that in the US, the original ROMs use COM9 for GPS (can anyone confirm?). Flashing to a new rom will have changed this to COM4 so you may just need to reconfigure your GPS settings in the individual applications.

Official HTC WWE WM6 SHOULD work with any P3300, that couln't be yours that is not possible to run GPS part.

There is an ARTEMIS or HTC P3300 model that have no GPS inside ? or I've just misinterpret what you said maybe you can give me a link with a refresh WM5 software the will surely work with mine ?

No, All HTC P3300 have got a GPS inside (it remember M$ pub ) only some P3300 haven't got Wifi inside.
You should forget about WM5. I said that I am pretty sure WM6 should work with your GPS.
I can give you a WM5 but it is French orange switzerland version

NO its a custom something (I dont know) but for sure not an original one please if you can send me link off and World wide English official HTC manufacturing version and i would install it ASAP

Try this...
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Clock & Alarms
On Time tab, make sure your time AND time zone is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Regional Settings
On Region tab, make sure your region is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> External GPS
On Program tab, make note of GPS Program Port
Download & Install VisualGPSce
http://www.visualgps.net/VisualGPSce/VisualGPSceInstall.CAB
Run Visual GPSce
Go to Connect -> Serial port
Set Port to that in "External GPS" setting above and Click OK
If the red dot in the bottom right flashes then your GPS is ok! You may just have to wait for a lock (look for QuickGPS too).

Hey about the GPS solution its not working it says "could not initialize communication buffer size" than when i press OK another windows pops up and says "Unable to open port please close the application accessing thecommuinication port" and i press OK and nofting change can you help me with that .... thanking you in advance!!!

Did you reinstall the official ROM version?

Hey when I try to install the ROM WWE after I press the update button it sends me in a white screen and than he gives me ERROR 260 means cant connect with the device what should I do
p.s. by the way my operation system is Vista so just let you know if there is any kind off significance to the subject

Try hard reset
First you can try to hard reset your device (pressing the 2 soft key and reset at the same time) You will get a message, press the green phone button. If this does not resolve your problem... you can read first post in the forum, to learn how to flash a new ROM. Does your gps ever worked ?

Ok, the best thing to do is to CID unlock your device (I thaught you already done that)
Read this Thread carefully it will explain why!http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308242
Then use only this to CID unlock your device : http://rapidshare.com/files/119852558/Artemis_USPL.rar.html
After that reinstall the original HTC WWE ROM.

Your problems are from flashing from vista, there are a lot of threads about this, but basically you have to piss about untill you have found out how to install a bunch of old xp drivers and then no more 260 errors. When you have done that you can tell us all here just how you did it and post the drivers again because they are getting harder and harder to find.

HELP please! Burned my Diamond with ROM Update

Hi all,
i just tried an ROM update on my diamond and ended up with a probably burned diamond.
I tried to updated to "Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex" and then to Elite 2.0.
First the Hard-SPL updated didn't work an stoped at 1%.
As i figgured out i had to start the update tool as administrator under my Windows Vista.
The diamond now starts and shows the following screen:
1. A Water like Picture
2. The Text "Xda diamond" in the bottom left corner
3. The Text (in red characters)
R 1.00.25.03
G 52.26a.25.09
D 1.37.00.00
4. The Character "H" (in red) next to the "Xda diamond" Text
The Diamond stops here and does nothing.
I can get to the three colors screen by pressing Vol Down and Reset.
I also tried a hard reset which worked, but i ended up at the same screen and the diamond does nothing and just stops there.
Have i completely damaged my Diamond? (I hope not, would be a nightmare to me)
I will be very grateful for any kind of help on this!

Did u have Flash Hard SPL before?
When u didnt, the Update stops @1% whit err msg like: Wrong vendor ID
Then u have to flash hard SPL before, is sticky in this Forum.
Try maybe with a ROM from here in the first Sticky post, then u can ask for support.

when you get the "three colour screen" then everything
should be ok, try to reflash the device!

I tried now to flash again to the Hard-SPL 1.30... but i get an Error 284 at 0%.
The three color screen shows the following:
DIAM300 MFG 64M
SPL-1.40.LiMex
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
PSOC-Diam STAGE_PVI v0x30
Any ideas?

I am getting a wrack, my nerves are going crazy. I hope i can recover at least to some ROM now...

Flash hard-spl, set ur device in bootloader mode (tri-color screen. Search for it if u doesent know how)
And flash one of the compatible Roms, they are sticky in the forum.
Maybe urs spl isnt compatible whit the Rom u flashed.
When the Device boot's, and u see the red signs whit numbers, then i think its all ok...
...only incomplete rom.

On Vista 64, I had to take the following steps to have it working:
Fisrt: connect the device in boot mode to the PC
Second: wait until Vista installs a driver update
Third: disconnect the device and restart the PC after the update is installed
Forth: right-click on the RUU executable, and choose
compatibility mode with Win XP SP2
Fifth: run the RUU, cross your fingers and start praying
As how to enter bootloader, press volume down and reset simultaneously

I had no problem flashing to Unsigned Hard-SPL (1.4?) and bepe's bElite 0.54 Basic ROM using Windows Vista Business x64 (SP1).
It worked out of the box, without any special drivers installed whatsoever. I believe there were some drivers installed when I got it into bootloader mode, but aside from WMDC I didn't install any extra software

sounds like a bad flash? i once had the same problem with HTC tytn2, and i managed to contact forumer GSLeon who helped me out. he said "after a bad flash,u should never keep attempting to flash again, because u may permanently brick your phone"

And now the asnwer what was the problem:
A ****ing USB-HUB from MSI!
I had my diamond connected throu that USB hub and so everytime i tried to flash i had communication errors at 0% or 1%.
I connected the diamon directly to my pc and guess what:
It worked like a charm.

NEVER US ANY KIND OF HUB TO FLASH A PHONE, ALWAYS PLUG THE PHONE DIRECTLY INTO YOUR MOTHERBOARDS USB SOCKET

people could read a bit more before trying to help - the guy obviously had the hardspl flashed because of the version that was reported in tricolour. (1.40.etc...though it was mistyped )
anyway good that it got resolved OK. using hubs is indeed not recommended.

Imate Jamin Wont Flash

Hi Guys,
Im a newbie when it comes to flashing Roms. I have tried flashing Jamin by several methods with no success, keep getting error 260 code, communication error.
I posted this in Post one in Jesterz thread (post #143 pg 15) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=284578 and on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413124
Can anybody give me any advice as i really want to try some of the Roms here but im having problems. When imate realeased their updated Rom a year or so ago, this installed with no problems??
methods tried so far seperately resetting each time, with no success (same error problem):

upgrade HardSP G3
Romupdate NV G3
Jester r1 G3 - RUU

Try to change the USB port! My Ultimate 6150 allowed to be flashed being conected only to one port! The other three ports lead to an comm error. Hope to help you!

Hey, Thanks for that! I had tried 3 of 4 of my usb ports, all failed but the one i hadnt tried.
Ok now for next problem
Now running Jesterz AKU 2.2 which flashed fine.
AKU2.2 IPL 2.20 SPL 2.20.0000
I now try to flash to wm6, i have tried cyrstal V3, direct 5 to 6 tool and lazy tools. i have done hard spl just in case which goes on very quickly no problem.
From what i read i should be able to go straight to 6 now?
I keep getting error 240 mostly and occasionally 274?
I have reset device and laptop and tried all usb ports!
Sorry to be a pain but i am half way there now and desp want to flash to wm6.

Just to say thanks to everyone who helped with their infinate wisdom,
i finally flashed to wm6 Crystal V3 and now have the confidence to try other OS!
Words to newbies, do your research, then try and if you fail, ask and try try again, its sooooo worth it!

ActiveSync problems with several cooked ROMs

Hello everybody!
I have noticed, there are problems with ActiveSync after ROM flashing appearing.
To be specific, ActiveSync activates itself automatically, without any obvious reason. ActiveSync window is also activated whenever an USB connector is used (thus also when charging only)!
I went through the several threads already, finding two fix-tips mentioned in there. However none of them seems to work in my case:

I have to admit, I am also surprised by the fact that I have the same problem independently on the ROM flashed (experienced with A.Z.T.O.R. V7 & SwiftBL Diamond V7.5 Full so far – that’s also the reason why I’ve decided to set this new thread).
Can somebody help me to solve this problem (which is obviously bothering more users already)?
Dou you have any explanation to this behavior?
FYI:
My initial ROM: O2 GE ROM 1.37
Actual ROM:
SPL: 1.40.OliNex
A.Z.T.O.R. V7 (previously SwiftBL Diamond V7.5 Full tested)
May the reason be some improper flash-procedure?
What is the reason of hard-reset after flash? (When it should be done?)

but i have Swift 7.5 ROM and it has the activesynckill,
but no result. ActiveSync starts on itself.
Hm, maybe someone find a resolution to this problem.

The problem is that even after I close AS
it starts by itself without connecting the phone
to the pc. Is runing in the background. If I see it
I close it and after some time there it is again,
runing in the background.

So do I have the same problem and the solution mentioned above couldn't solve the problem.

I would like to know why there are SOME users having this problem, when some others never heard about it! There has to be some reason causing this kind of trouble...
I don't like using extra fix generally, I prefer finding the solution! ;-)
