Hi, Can anyone tell me how i can utilize rogers vision on my Trinity? I cannot seem to be able to access vision (or i do not know how to). Is there any settings i need to know? please help.
Also, can anyone tell me how to enable/disable wcdma or 3g or anything of that kind? i cannot seem to find it.

Hi,
I am trying to get my Tilt 2 working on the new Bell HSPA network in Canada.
Problem is that the device always reports that it is roaming even though it is not.
Being a fairly new network I was wondering if this has anything to do with the problems and have been digging around in the registery to see if there is anything that I can find there which might help.
Can anybody shed any light on the settings in:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\RIL\OperatorContexts\
Or if not think of anyplace else in the registery that could be worth looking at?

so my htc desire runs at a gsm frequecy of 850/something/something
when my network's 3g is @ 800
Now I installed cyanogen mod and I suddenly get an H data connection ( HSDPA I think) and I cant understand howcome when I am in that mod I am able to get internet like that from my phone provider, but not when I am in stock..
right now I am running shadowsense, and I would love it if i could enable getting internet like that again but in this mod..
Any help would be very appricated..

Probably something to do with your APN settings. Some ROMS come with a huge list of em with correct settings for different providers, which I assume your non-stock ROM has. Check out your service providers website for the correct APN details, or just phone them up and ask.

This is true check your APN, I have had problems with custom ROMs that change my APN si I would also advice you to check them
hi,
after 18 months in which i have used my desire with a1 (mobilkom) without any problem, i have decided to switch from a1 to bob austria.
and now the problems have begun...
my desire always shows "roaming", i know this is "correct" because bob is roaming in the a1 network, but this is not really good because i´m living near to the german border so i cant use the "data roaming option" without other apps and the risk of extra payments...
i have read about the method to add bob to the spn_conf.xml file to tell android it´s the "fakehome" but this method also doesnt work...
i have tested a few roms (eg. Insertcoin & LeeDroid), with this roms i also have the roaming "problem"...
does anybody know a propper way to change my roaming "problem"?
does anybody know a rom without this "problem"?
i hope somebody could help me out
CM7.1 has the option to enable "national roaming" (while keeping international roaming disabled).
But what happens if you select the A1 network manually? does it change network alone after a while?

I have an unlocked sprint g2. I moved to Oman a month ago. Now gsm services work fine but 4g and 3g doesnt work on my phone. Can anyone explain a possible solution to this? Do i need to flash a baseband? Will this issue be corrected if i root and flash a custom rom? Thanks in advance guys. Appreciate your help.

first make sure the 4g and 3g bands of your current provider are supported on this phone. If they are, then there is a rom which might help you get 4g or 3g but i dont remember the name of it (terrible i know) 3g could have to do with the apn settings as well...

Hey thabjs for the reply. I know about the 3g settings, even i thought about the apn settings. But then there are no options to change apn settings in this rom. Perhaps if i change the rom i will be able to change fiddle around with the apn settings?
I need some serious help. I recently purchased a used Oneplus 3. I do believe it to be the US variant but cant tell for sure (it does say A3000). I cant get LTE to work no matter what i do. I have set the APN settings correctly I believe. Can somebody please put me on the right track? Maybe I should be I should be verifying that it is US but I can't determine a conclusive way to do that. I've been pulling my hair out for dayS!!!!!
can anybody with a confirmed US version tell me what it says if you go to about phone, and press authentification information? thank you for much!

Can you provide any further details of what you are actually looking for? I'm on metro and have no issues with LTE. What APN settings are you using?
