Italian WM2003 Rom? Do anyone got it?

I'm looking for the italian rom of wm2003...
Do exist?
Do anyone got it?
however, i've installed the special edition rom 1.2 and it got an exe which is self installer.
The rom cooked in the kitchen with mkrom work in the same way?

i forget another thing...
when i try to cook a rom from http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/ the rom comes out too small (151 kb) and when i try to install it say that it can't find the rom...
what's the problem??

When have you tried cooking a rom, and whisch one?
Normally it should work. The file have to bee about 17 MB
Looks like you´ve only got the exe-file for flashing, but not the rom ....

when i click on macromedia flash player it give me this error...
if i do not select it is 17 mb
maybe a bug

need info on extended rom

hello just need to know how do i install programs in the unlocked ex rom as when installing apps from active sync it only has 2 options 1 divice or 2 memory card ..
also if i do a cold reset will the stuff in the unlocked ex rom be deleted?.

Does anybody know how to change the Ext ROM? I searched on buzzdev and this forum and didnt find anything.
I would want to make an Ext ROM because I'm trying the different AKU 3.2 beta's and am reinstalling a lot.

but why do you put your cab files in your unlocked extrom, install one of the aku 3.2 roms without the extrom and after that install you own cabs from your extrom?
I do it kind of this way with my sd card because I want to see what the guys put new in the extrom of the new aku3.2 variants.

I'm not interrested at all in their ext ROMs, I know exactly what I want and where to get it (I just dont know how to include it in a ext ROM)
I'm in it for the best, most stable and fastest OS.

Official WM6 & SSPL?

i have UK Orange M700,
i have flashed successfully twice using SSPL with LVSW & mUn 2.00.S.E!
is it possible to flash to official WM6 using SSPL? like i have already done

But the only answers seem to be "flash HardSPL" & official WM5 rom, which i dont have being on Orange M700!
i want to be able to flash using SSPL straight from 1 cooked Rom to another.
p.s. i'll make sure i P.M. you before i start another thread!

No it isn't, here's the answer:
The "official" WM6 rom NBH file has the OS part tagged as 0x401 (256Mb NAND) instead of 0x400 (128Mb NAND). Only the new SPL-3.03 included in this "official" upgrade is able to understand 0x401, so SSPL, HardSPL or CrashProof SPL or whatever that's not based on this SPL-3.03 (or newer) will not be able to understand the NBH header type 0x401 and will stop at OS flashing.
The solution is simple:
Unpack the NBH and repack it tagging OS as 0x400, then flash it using SSPL, or whatever hacked SPL choice we have.

i've never tried unpacking an NBH or retagging!
is this something the knowledgeable cooks on here will manage easily?

thanks, i appreciate the offer, but i think i will wait for a cooked Rom with HTC homeplug, audiomanager & no slow down?
apparently the only way to get HTC apps with no slow down is to have them cooked into a rom?

Just CID unlock your phone, it works just fine.

Using SSPL-TRIN.exe or have you got to CID unlock?

With Pof's CID Unlocker. Has worked for me, and my friend.

my device is dopod 810 eng ver (HK). I flashed it to chinese ver WM5 before using SSPL. For WM6, i have no problem flashing to SEA ver. But always get invalid vendor ID for the Trad. Chinese rom.
I then tried to unpack and pack it again with 128MB size.
and work like a charm

May I know how to repack the file with 128MB size?

Yue WM 6.1 4.4 latest one ?

Hi,
Is Yue's latest rom the 4.4 ? Don't need the extraclean version, cause I cannot flash it from SD Card.
Also strange that I first flashed the 4.4 with no problem, now it gives "image corrupted"?
Where can we find Yue's latest rom-upgrades, somewhere around pda4u i think, but we don't understand Russian
Or are there any other likewise new fast roms with most ram free & storage ?
So don't need the extra today plugins, cube, ... as least as possible to add our own stuff.

Try the roms that are already available like the PDAViet one that is really smooth and good looking. It is also a fast rom.

Tried the Oops Black from the first day, PDAViet is also with HTC Home plugin (dont like this, i'd rather like the SPB Mobile Shell with tabs down the screen).
I just installed Yue's 4.4 lite again for my friend, first it didn't seem to work (white screen or "rom image corrupt') but after removing the SD Card (even no sdhc) it flashed perfect. I have also flashed the latest RADIO seperately, the SPB Mobile Shell for the looks with Diamond Shell & Samurai Weather + IGO8.

I'm liking this ROM - no HTC Home for a change, but at least I can run SPB Mobile shell and iGO 8 without any memory errors. Only problem is the keyboard and contacts come in Russian. Installed Touch diamond keyboards to get around that issue. (also had to install PPcPimbackup and Total commander - gonna have to learn how to cook my own!)

bigstorage hardreset fix?

the faq says if you use a BS rom you have to install first an OS rom. after that you can install the cooked rom.
but what if there is a new version of your cooked rom? can you now flash it over your current rom or do you still have to flash an OS rom first again?

Every time you go from a bigstorage rom to another bigstorage flash a shipped rom.
It should be fine going to a non bigstorage, but better safe than sorry!

Agreed, tbh you should be OK aslong as you dont flash the crap outta your device all the time. Should you encounter a HArd Reset or freeze then follow veyka's advise and flash an official ROM to in essence correctly "format" your device before using the bigstorage ROM.

the official rom formats it again with extrom
so you can using it again with BS rom ? right so far ?
so if we build the BS with EXTROM then the flashing process will be SPLASH ,SPLASH2 , EXTROM , OS
so the extrom will be formated first and then overwriten with BS OS ?

that is not a problem with nbhgen some official extrom

That should work. its just doing the same thing as we do manually! Would it make flashing a lot longer?

I'm using the PDACorner V23 RBSN and i'v flashed it after v22 RBSN, done manually HR and reflashed again w/o flashing shipped rom before and no problem till now. Thanks.

the extrom from sdcard doesnt take to long its some more sec. it has only 11MB more

To sum things up I guess the problem is that the formating is only done partially but the entire partition is expected to be ready after installation - If that's the case we just need to format the whole BigStorage partition including what would be reserved for ExtStorage, right?
I don't know how or what formats the OS partition during initial install but that is what needs tweaking! I am going to look into cooking that and post back here unless a Chef already post the How-To answer...
