Alright, forum friends. On Friday I flashed Anryl Beta 3 using sspl on my sd card. During the day on Friday and Saturday, my phone would occasionally freeze up forcing a soft reset. When I reset the phone, it forced me back through the initial setup (tap screen to configure, setup time zone and email, etc.), essentially forcing a hard reset. Now my phone is stuck at the 1st splash screen and won't finish booting up. The green LED on the right side is lit (the GSM light) and it just hangs there. A soft reset sends it back to the same spot. A hard reset has done the same.
I tried to flash a new rom using the bootloader but the HERMIMG.nbh won't take - it says "Loading..." across the top of the screen then flashes 00068002, then goes back to the red, green, blue and white bootloader screen. Does anyone have any ideas for rescuing my poor phone? I'm up for anything now!
Flash your carrier original ROM, or VP3G or AT&T ROM and see if that helps!
I've tried to flash my original ROM (both the first one that came on the phone and the WM6 release from ATT) but I can't run them from my PC since I can't get an activesync connection. I tried to download the nbhextract file from the forums here and it says that the file is corrupt. I've tried flashing other roms to my device (using my SD card and the .nbh image) and keep getting the same result.
If it helps, here's my info from bootloader: HERM100, IPL-1.04, SPL-2.03.
By the way, I just moved back to my old Ericsson P800 and am dying to get back to my HTC!
So I downloaded the update from HTC's website (the original 6.0 ROM from AT&T) and am pushing that over now. I had to turn off the USB on activesync to get it to connect but everything seems to be going just fine now. Thank you all for all of your help. Hopefully this will be the last post on this thread.

Hello, i have a new P3300. The first time i opened it it started installing some basic stuff/programs and then worked quite good. Then i turned it off and when i turned it on again it shows the first splash screen with the htc logo, shows IPL and SPL versions on the left top side (like it should do) and then it instantly turns off. I have tried installing the official WM6 ROM again and again but after the installation finishes the problem remains. Also, when in confirmation dialog for the ROM to be installed or not when it shows the old and the new version, the old is completely blanc.
P.S.: Something else, when i connect it to charger (or USB cable) the orange light keeps going on and off about every 30 seconds.
Any help would be highly appreciated guys.
Send it back to your vendor for warranty...
Cheers
After many tries i managed to install some older official ROM but again after the initial screen calibration and the other stuff some customizations started installing and when PDA rebooted the problem appeared again. But tomorrow I'm getting it to service (and getting my Qtek 8310 back which by the way got a repair although unlocked ).
HI all,
I'm having some fun and games with my Orbit today.
I previously had an old version of black & Blue on there. SO today decided to update to have a go with some manilla based ROMS.
First I Tried YuE_v11.3_3.15.20755_Lite_M2D_WWE
Which seemed to work ok but after a while applications were being very slow.
So then I tried to reflash oop, but that seemed to fail.
I Tried to flash love, but it wasn't ever getting to the progress indicator on flashing, so did an SD flash of YuE which worked.
So then tried to flash Love from that minimal YUE and the device is being really slow, like gets to the calibration and takes about 5 mins to swap between screens.
What's the best way to totally clear down the rom and start again on this?
Thanks
I've now flashed the Official UK O2 WM6 ROM and still having problems. Flashed succesfully, but when it boots up, it just sits on the "Windows Mobile" screen and beeps a bit
Current State after O2 flash :
IPL : 3.04.0001
SPL : 3.04.0000
GSM : 03.06.90
OS 3.4.0.0
Any help gratefully appreciated.
Thanks
Hard reset the device, and while you're in the config wizard, plug in your device and flash to new rom. That way it's completely formatted and you'll have a fresh new install... hope it works mate
I did a hard reset, still no joy, hangs on the welcome to windows screen
I can access the Bootloader, but can't find a way to flash a rom from there, all seem to want it done once you've made an activesync connetion
flash YUE back via SD card flashing
I already tried that, flashes fine, but becomes unresponsive soon after
have tried flashing O2 WM5 + WM6 from SD, but still no joy.
It just flashes, loads up WM(5/6) then hangs there, beeping sometimes. Pressing the green button brings up the calibration screen. I sometimes see bits of apps, today screen, but that's about it, it's generally unresponsive.
Any suggestions?

A little update incase someone can help?
I left the battery out of the phone all night last night, and this morning the phone worked great.. for about 2 hours, then it froze. I hard reset, and it's back to freezing after OS loading now
What's up if you remove your MicroSD card ?
That makes no diff, i've tried flashing with + without the SD card (it's currently out), flashing from windows + flashing from microSD, all ends up the same way, with an unresponsive device once the OS boots.
FIXED NOW!
Need help.
I burned the new Kavana ROM. everything was working ok.
placed my microSD and the device didn't recognize it, so i rebooted.
upon reboot the device got stuck on the white HTC screen.
pulled battery
tried again, rebooted, past the HTC screen to the Windows Mobile welcome screen but freeze again. hard reboot didn't respond.
pulled battery, then turned back on. device didn't even turn on!
tried several times with/without battery hooked up to power , and with/without SIM and/or microSD (all possible combinations) and nothing.
had lunch
went back to it and the device magically booted it but after the white HTC screen i got a blue screen asking about error from last reboot. said yes to correct. rebooted went past white HTC and into Windows mobile welcome screen and froze again.
repeated the process several times and finally got to the blue screen again asking about error from last boot, this time said 'no' and device continued boot in a white screen without HTC logo and froze.
all hard reset attempts were unsuccessful (if i'm doing it right: hold two soft keys and then power button).
now the device boots to the white HTC screen and then is stuck.
what to do?
edit: got the hard reset to work and reconfigured my phone. i only noticed the black screen for a split second because my Dash has issue that it thinks that the green send button is being pressed all the time (anyone know how to fix that?).
Thanks
Find your original rom in sticky, go into bootloader and flash original rom, then flash to wm6.1.
have the same issue!!... did you fixed? the main problem is activesync is not running so how do i install another ROM?
Active sync doesnt have to be working aslong as u got ur s621 pluged in and u wait for a few seconds before starting the ROM it will work.
I am no stranger to forums, or 'modifying' electronics. However, this was my first hack at my Touch Diamond. I went through all the proper procedures to update to WM6.5 (or so it seemed) but now, after installing a ROM
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=506533)
the phone only shows the splash screen, then resets and continues to go through this continuous loop. I cannot access the phone, or get booted to the point where I can connect to the PC. Any ideas, as I am sans phone right now. TIA!
Do you flash a hard-SPL ?
Are you sure the ROM's archive isn't broken ?
The connection on the bootloader mode was good, synced with windows?
I think you didn't flash a rom before ? If yes, no problem, if you flash an other rom before, maybe use the MTTY method.
see how this guy could have saved him self time if the thread in my description was stickyed...
MTTY thread... look there. after that ur green to go again.
I do believe people are successfully using the ROM.
The connections were all fine. I had to first install a new bootloader, then updated the radio device (all worked fine). I then went to update the OS, and the process went through just fine, but when the phone booted, it just keeps cycling through the opening splash screen.
My problem is that I cannot get the phone past that screen to do anything.
reb0rn, thank you! The 'boot to flash' was what I was looking for. The 'Volume Down" with "Power On" was what did the trick (I was doing all sorts of other combinations with the 'reset' key).
I'm loading a new version onto the phone as we speak - wish me luck, and thanks again!
Where to start... So I Flashed a stock rom "M919UVUAMDL_M919TMBAMDL_M919UVUAMDL_HOME.tar" with Odin to my M919 3 times with the same result.
Used Odin 307 with PDA and only Auto Reboot checked each time. Flash went fine completed successfully with Pass each time. Unfortunately that's where the
success ended. The phone rebooted with the TMobile Logo and Samsung logos flashing on screen and immediately went "Samsung is Upgrading 155 applications."
After this process it rebooted once again Flashing the TMobile and Samsung logos. Once booted, the phone screen is black with no icons. At the very top of the
screen, I have a battery icon, the time, 4 bars despite having no sim card in and that little eye icon. At the bottom, the back and menu buttons light up when
touched. The phone is recognized by windows and does allow me to browse the file folders. On the off chance that my file was corrupted somehow, I downloaded it
from a second source the 2nd and 3rd times I flashed it. Now I'm stuck. Nothing I do changes this condition.
Please Help!
** After several attempts I managed to get the phone into recovery mode. Unfortunately the phone Is still having issues. The TouchWiz is back and all the icons, it goes through the setup process but it's unable to turn wifi on and it doesn't seem to see my sim card. Aside from a hardware failure of some type, I don't know what this could be.

Have you tried going into recovery and doing a "Factory Reset" and reboot, it might fix the problem.
Also if it does not fix all the problems you can try to boot the phone up just to get into the SETTINGS
screen, then goto settings>accounts tab>backup and reset> and select "Factory data reset" then
reboot the phone if it does not reboot on it's own.
Good luck!
