Problem: No black screen

Hi everybody,
i have some problems with my diamond: in fact i can flash nothing. i tried to flash a new spl, but without success. I tried Hard-Spl 1.24 and Olinex 1.40 SPL. The screen doesn't go black. I cant do this manual from my diamond too. It says that the file has no signature or something else. I cant flash the spl and so the rom too. Can anyone help me?
p.s. what is happening when i downgrade to stock spl? why for warranty reasons only?

Back to Original ROM and CID Lock

Dear Friends;
I've done HardSPL and installed Cooked ram (downloaded from XDA) several times, but recently I heared that by installing non-original ROMs the Guarantee will be invoked. It is easilly possible to back to original ROM but is it possible to back to original CID lock as well? I dont want loose the Guarantee....
I will be appreciated if the firends kindly help me.

As far as I know you can go back to your original SPL, but dont quote me on it.
Wait for a better answer from someone more experienced.

at the same place where u got the hard spl, the author probably provided the stock spl for warranty purposes.
so what u need before u send it back to service is:
stock spl, stock rom, and stock radio (probably u remember which came with it).
any ways, just read the hard spl thread, and u have the answer.
don't do nothing without first reading what u are doing

hi, simply install an ORIGINAL HTC rom and it return with rom and original CID.

AFAIK installing another rom also the HTC default ones are not giving back the CID when u unlocked it, if you wrote the CID down you can do it with the CID unlocker of OliNex there u can write in the CID u want to set.
The problem with stock SPL is dicussed many times ! a whole thread is there for that.

Dear Friend;
I've done all steps and successfully installed stock SPL 1.93.0000 but in bootloader v0x32 is mentioned while it seems it should be v0x30 (as smae as my friends' Diamonds), anybody knows how can I fix it?

SPL 2.03 Problems

Hi,
I recently had my diamond return to me from HTC (screen repair) and as part of the normal process they flash the latest rom when they return the device.
Now i have the latest 2.03 rom and 2.03 SPL (did not know there was a 2.03 SPL)
Now for the problem..... I cant seem to flash to a hard SPL ie 1.24 or 1.40, i have tried them all and i have tried the manual method (no luck).
Prior to me sending off my diamond i had flashed the 1.24 spl with no issues.
I have looked all over the forum and i can't find any mention of a 2.03 SPL and i am wondering is this new SPL prevents you from flashing to any older/other SPL versions.
If any one has any ideas please help.

Yeah it is strange i had no idea there was a new one until i tried to flash and it shows spl 2.03 on the boot loader screen.
If someone knows how i can get a copy of this SPL off my device i will post it for all to look at.

ahhh interesting..... which SPL do you now have on your diamond ?

You have to use SSPL.
Just flashed HardSPL 1.24 over 2.03.

Hard spl problem!!!

I know you guys most be tired of this but im still a lil confused about all this since i have searched around and i have still to know how to return the stock SPL...now i know theres alot of post that show how but what i need to do is find out one which i dont have to use my phone:
What i mean is....i dont have to copy SSManual.bat to my fun and run it from my phone...because i have to return my phone to HTC for warranty reasons but i cannot get passed the align screen configuration at boot since my touch is messed up (p.s. i can still flash and active sync)...
what i need to know is a way to return to the stock SPL without using the phone (except for Active Sync)...
p.s. if i have the ASIA WWE HK ROM on the SPL would be 1.34 or 1.93?

Basically, thanks to the ppl in this thread for helping.....since i couldnt get passed my align screen cause of hardware problems with my screen i couldnt access the sspl-manual in order to revert to stock spl so what i did is i flash my phone with Dia duit 1.4 which has no welcome screen or align screen so i could go thru to the phone then performed the sspl manual and reverted to the 1.93 spl (my version)and afterwards i flash my phone with the Asia HTC wwe orginal romhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410720 ......i know ure supposed to first flash orginal rom and then the stock spl but i took a chance and it worked...THANKS u guys keep up the good work and now its up to HTC to fix my hardware....Hoping its on warranty

can't you install the hardspl through bootloader mode?

Unfortunately no, everytime i do either i get an error [202] or it goes straight to 100% but then when i check with the vol - and reset button it shows olinex 1.40

did anybody ever try to send it without reverting back to the stock spl ?

Try to install a rom which don't have to align the screen. then you copy the file you wants from the phone.

i had your problem and has olinex 1.40 anld like to restore hard spl
first you should install original rom on your device
then install original hard spl ( i try it )
download rom 1.93 WWE from the htc site (it should be 1.93)
then hard spl with it (copy sspl manual om your device run it then restart you device run it again then connect it to pc and run ruu

i think the new rom of suiller (diadiut 1.4) would do. you don't need to screen align after flashing.

I appreciate the help but the problem is that i cannot get passed the align screen of the first boot which means i cant run sspl manual since i cannot in the files from my phone.....also if i do flash the Dia duit 1.4 rom which does not boot with the align screen or welcome screen, dont i have to flash the original rom before putting the stock SPL !!.....thank you guys for the info

Hard SPL didnt work?

Just used the modmydiamond manual to upgrade to HardSPL 1.40 OliNex
But when i try and check by preforming a HardSPL the bootloader doesnt show:
Hard SPL 1.40.Olinex
DIAM100 MFG 64M
SPL-1.40.OliNex
Havn't been able too see what its says exactly
Edit: Just saw the xda manual have another textlines then modmydiamond that matches mine.

hi there...are you using the 1.93 rom? if it is...try upgrading to 2.03 official rom first...then u could flash hardspl...note that when it starts flashing..the screen will fade black slowly..then its being flashed...if it jumps to the 4 coloured bootloader...means its not working...good luck!
