i had wm5 on it, i've made cid and sim unlock and worked OK, and after i tried to install wm6.1 (fashion version), after 2% crashed. and now, any rom that i'm trying to install, it tells me:
error 270 - image corrupted. what should i do?

I have tried to flash WM6 ROMs (both english versions available at wiki - pdaviet and orbit) to HTC original Artemis and every flash ends with error msg "The file \windows\cusTSK.exe does not exist", which is displayed after soft reset when it tries to install extrom.
Does anybody know where is the problem ? I have tried this flash several times, but always with this error ...
It sounds like you may have a corrupt extended Rom. I'd try flashing your original carrier ROM to fix it.
The error message is normal.
When I got the error the first time I boot the device (pdamobiz rom) I waited for 5 mins to see what happens. Then I simply made a power-off-power on to the mobile phone and the error never reappeared ever since. It works perfectly now!
I am not sure, but I guess this err msg is displayed when it tries to install apps from extrom, it is displayed after each hard reset. This is no limitation in functionality, everything works fine, only limitation is that there are no extrom apps installed, but these can be installed manually
I think the problem is that the program that changes the background in WM6 is not cusTSK.exe anymore. I don't know what is the program to do that in WM6 but maybe someone here knows. The error happens because on you extended rom there is a reference to cusTSK.exe. We need to know what is the name of the new program and then update our extended rom.

Hi I tried to flash my diamond, after start the RomUpdateUtility he enter the bootloader but the percent diaplays only 0% and still constant - after 30 seconds the compi displays the error 262 message with a communication error with the phone and i must restart the phone and i have my old rom.
please help and sorry for my bad english

I had the same problem when I tried to flash using the .tar version of the ROM (after extracting of course). I re-downloaded the .exe version and it worked.
I have a device with a wiered ROM flashed already, so just want to rever this back to the standard ROM. The device is branded HTC (BT device) I downloaded two roms, 1.33.422.1 (Worldwide English, WM6) and ??.?.?.? (BT rebrand, WM6)
I beleive the device is not locked, but tried using "SDA Application Unlock" program and "Surreal Networks AppUnlock". Got the error message phone is not unlockable, and install was unsuccessful because of insuffiencent permissions (respectively).

Gets to about 3% then Error 294 - Invalid VenderID

This error message will appear when you use the incorrect RUU version to upgrade.
i have the right rom for my artemis
even when i want to cid unlock my artemis it shows me the same error.
i had the 6.5 m2d rom on it.

hi, i'm trying to flash the rom RUU_Rhodium_S2_HTC WWE EastEurope_2.07.401.1_Radio_Rhodium_4.49.25.91_Signed_Ship but i get error 262 during the update process (usually at 22%, 38% or 42%). i turned off firewall and virus protection, but nothing changed. can anybody help?
Try flashing from the sd card.
