Hi,
I'm pretty much new to this, but I recently bought a Qtek 9090.
I want to make a DIY carkit for it and found this very usefull info.
The thing is: is the 22pin connector at the bottom on my device (Blue Angel) the same (and same pin-setup) as the Himalaya?
Thanks!
Grtz,

Anyone know?
Hey u all PDA/smartphone dudes.......hehe
I've got a Qtek 7070, also known as the Tanager, from HTC.
Question is about the connector at the bottom of the phone. Is it compatible with other pda's or phones by HTC ???? if so, I can use those connec.-cable for my phone to connect to a carkit...

thnx Rudegar,
last Q:
Can I use the "The connector pinout" scheme/layout for my Qtek 7070??
If so, then I 'm able to connect it to a carkit through the pinout to the carkit using a wire with two jacks (1 mic, other ear) which go into the carkit!!

Those who tried both of them, what you'd say about difference in battery life (esspecialy regarding gps usage)? Which pda lasts longer?
Is there any difference regarding gsm ? Are they having both the same signal, and is there difference with mic and speakers? There were some complains about too low volume of speaker and phone ringing with g500. Is that true?
Eten G500 <> Artemis
Hi,
I sold my Eten G500 for a HTC P3300 and i don't regret it one moment. G500 has a nice design with blue leds, but the newer models are very clumsy models.
The speaker & sound quality of the Eten were indeed very bad! Speaker at the back and very bad quality. Also the device was very heavy!
Now the P3300 is more like a smartphone, quality of sound = clear, loud, in one word superb (also with my qtek xda2i in past - same manufacturer).
The P3300 is a very light model, half the tickness & weight of the Eten.
It has a flashy blue trackball, internet connections via wifi G work fine when in car close to buildings with wifi on.
I started with a xda2i for gsm + wifi (with external gps receiver). Then got the Eten for the integrated gps receiver (only model at that time / hp model more like a calculator). And finally got the P3300.
It has everything I need now, normally I will stay with this model till it doesn't work anymore it's an all in one, don't need more functions at the moment.
Enjoy,

I bought a new touchscreen and now i have open my qtek 9090 to change the broken touchscreen..
What type of glue, tape or what i have to use to connect the touchscreen cables with the motherboard of the phone???
Any help please from someone that has open the pda??
My P3300 fell down today... and the screen won't turn on :'( but the thing is.. the touchscreen works perfectly!
Using My Mobiler I can see that when I touch the screen it works as usual, althought the display seems to be turned off (no backlight). Any ideas on how to fix it? or should i just get a new display?
I have an old Qtek S100, can I use it's display for the Artemis?
Thanks!
