How to Hard Reset or Bootloader mode?

my dopod C720W stack on the main screen " Windows Mobile Direct Push Technology" can you help me to me plz im just a noob on this unit, i dont known how it go something like this.

Hard Reset:
power off the phone, press the 2 softkeys and the power button simultaneously, then after 1-2 seconds, release the power button. Timing is crucial.

tnx boss ill try that later when i get home... ill let you knw if working, i hope it will that units stack for almost 2 months on my drawer..

I'm using the TNT 2.0 rom for hy hermes......I've been using the rom for a while with no prob. Today, I had to do a soft reset...my hermes stockes at the WM6 home screen page and does not want to acces windows.....What should I do....

i'm using spl2.10

sounds like you might have to do a 'hard reset'.
this will reset your ppc back to the base TNT rom you installed, so you'll have to reload everything you've put on since.
to perform a hard reset, hold down both left and right soft keys at the same time and stick the stylus into the hole in the bottom (where you'd do a soft reset) all at the same time.
to help you find out which program might be causing you problems, it's a good idea to load them one at a time and soft reset after each install.

I did a hard reset....by holding the green and the red ( on / of ) phone and the soft reset....nothing, I did not load any 3rd party software....
it loads the 1st TNT screen where we see the arabic words...then it turn to the WM6 welcome screen and it stays there.....does not want to load window.....

PS. it happend when I did a soft reset this morning.....I'm using TNT form almost 3 weeks now.

I've seen the same thing on my Hermes, nothing installed. After 5 or 6 reboots, it hangs and that is the ball game.
I'm sorry I cannot offer any more information than that

is this means that my Tytn is gone. ! ! !
Can't I bypass the WM6 welcome screen and enter a ' safe mode' so I can
re-flash it?

PS. It's true, I just remembered that 2 weeks ago, I installed Skype as a thrid party

I did pressed on the left and right (phone) button + stylus.....but still same result...I'm stock at the welcome screen

Problem with O2 Orbit Screen

Hi everyone I've recently been given a O2 Orbit but when you turn on the phone a white screen comes on and coloured lines come on infront, I was just wondering if any of you fine people would know if it was the screen. Im new to this so any information would be greatfuly recieved.

is it the green/blue/red screen?
when in doubt, hard reset it. i think its the two soft keys being held and inserting the stylus into the reset hole

No it was ant the green/blue/red but have sorted it now just did a reinstall of the factory rom and its fine now thanks

WM6 is making my phone slower?

Hi guys, i have a question. how come after i installed wm6 on my htc 8525, my phone is very slow whenever i open any files or folders. Hope u guys can help me. thank you

Did you do a hard reset after you flashed?

How do i reset it? Also, with wm6 , it's really hard to use activesync, sometimes it work but sometimes it's not.

Press both buttons above the green call and red hangup key poke your stylus to the reset hole. all together, and you will get a screen. look at the wiki please.

Or simply go to start>settings>system>clear storage>1234>ok.

HTC Repair Question

Hi, I have HTC desire. It doesnt boot anymore... All I get is 7 vibrates and thats it nothing on the screen etc. Now im not sure if it has been rooted in the past, will HTC be able to tell if it has?
Also has anyone else had this problem? Did HTC repair it or give a replacement?

yes many has this issue whit there desire
it is a hardware problem
my thit the same an it is now sent in fore repare
i think that it is the cpu there is getting to hot therefore the reboot whit 5 to 7 vibrate
if the phone get totaly cold it can an will start up again
then htc can see if it has bien rooted
u can only removed the rooted if u load a officale htc RUU firmware

I tried the freezer trick, though it didnt work. Theres no way for me to load any RUU on to it, hopefully HTC will not be able to power it on.
Its getting picked up tomorrow anyhow, hopefully they will just replace the phone.
