What next - HELP needed from the best guys?

Read all and have started this cause nothing works as yet.
The only ROM to flash is the Offical WM6 but it sticks at 28% everytime.
Here's what the screen shows.
TRIN100
IPL-1.00
TRIN100
SPL-9.99.CP
Not even detected in Activesync or Windows Mobile centre.
Can you guys help me.
PS tried SD method but does nothing, soft reset and hard do nothing and old AX3L ROM wont even start as well as HARDSPL SSPL CID Unlock and I mean everything.
Do I have to get someone, eg pay, to get it fixed???
Where to from here????

Go back to your Original WM5 Rom First. Then flash again using SSPL-Trin.exe

Well tried to flash WM5 ROM (Original that was on my 810 prior to cooked ROM) however it still comes up with the data connection error and can't find my Dopod. Maybe all the information is too much in the forum cause I have read all my friend. I would absolutely love you to simplify it a bit for an honest and humble noob that would be great......
Nothing flashes cause im stuck in the tri colur screen.
Please educate me

give some more details of what's displayed on tri colored screen..
next time it gives connection error, just restart the updater (with device still connected).

You have provided me with the most honest feedback and I thankyou. It would now appread that the original ROM WM5 1.23.707.6 for AUS was not able to flash on VISTA however I just started it on XP so finger crossed.
Now when its all good, lol, I need to re-read what needs to be done with the new WM6 update prior to flashing it. Can you give me your clear guidance.... SSPL or HardSPL?

ok, if you have any more trouble, it's hard to assess where you're stuck without the details of what's shown on your screen, etc.
to flash WM6 ROM, please follow the instructions at my site here
this will give you basic instructions on flashing it. once you get ready to flash the ROM, you can look at the upgrade guide on the site for picture by picture steps to upgrade.. hope it helps

Moving from O2 WM6 to BB v 4

Hi all,
Plz bear with my ignorance when it comes to upgrading ROMS etc.
Basically yesterday I upgraded to O2's official WM6 ROM .... and find it "not so good". It is slow to respond etc( i found it slower than my WM5 )
So now I wanna move to BB4, question is how do i do it??
I have downloaded an Artemis_USPL from Prof. So what are the steps I need to do??
Is it ...
1) Run start_uspl.exe from the zip file and let it complete.
2) Run( double click ) the img-46785-Tom_B_B_v4_0_TouchFlo_Professional.exe
Is that all I need to do?
Also, if I brick it .... what do i need to do to revert to an original ( say o2 WM6 ROM) ... is it USPL it again then run the O2 rom??

yep, thats what you need to do. both 1) and 2) will need some user input and after it's done the device resets itself. so after 1) wait until restart is complete, then do 2).
for your original roms you dont need uspl. but if you are not completely sure, run it anyway.

Hmmm doesnt wanna play ball.
Did the above and ran uspl .... got stuck on a white screen. So I rebooted the Orbit and tried running the BB4 .exe ... got to 3 % and told to that .......
Error 270: Update Error. The image file is corrupted. Please check your update ultilty.

Can anyone help?? It will not upgrade ROM.
I keep getting the white screen and it cant run ROM utility(Error 224: Device not responding ).
I then reset the device and run BB4 ... I get to 3% and then I get error:270 ( image file is corrupt ). I have downloaded the ROM again and still get this error.
Any helpers out there??

I had the ame problem mate. What you need to do is revert back to the original 02 WM5 Rom which can be found on this forum somewhere. Then once installed, run uspl & then the BB4 Rom & hey presto your sorted.
For some reason i couldnt get uspl to work on WM6 02 rom either

Ensure that your windows firewall is disabled and also you shut down any anti-virus programs running on your PC
I also found that turning off all the plugins on the today screen helped me to upgrade my O2 orbit.
I went through the same issues as you with corrupted images at 2% , however following the steps above helped me.

The firewall was disabled and so was AV ... so not sure about next steps.
I thibnk I shall try downgradind to original O2 WM5 rom and then upgrade ....
question is where in this forum is that Rom!! I had seen it before but as usual when u dnt need something you find it and when you need it u cant!
Will keep on searching .... anyone know the link plz save me some time!

Downgraded to WM5 now .... and tried to run BB4 .... still no joy. Same error.
Maybe i'll try another ROM just to see if that works and if it doesnt then MUST be my PC or something.

Tried another machine ..... XP SP2 not FW or AV still failed.
Always get to 3% then crash.
HELP!!

Tried BB3.7 still no luck. 3% and crashes .... on 2 diff PC's.
I noticed that USPL runs ver 3.0.3.0 of the update utility but the actual ROMS when you launch them are running 3.6.3.6 ... does this make a difference?

Those are the issue no's of the rom upgrade utilities - it does not matter. It appears you are still not cid unlocked. whats your spl no? take it from first bootscreen.

SPL is 1.25.0000
IPL is 1.25.0001

The spl from uspl is 1.110000 so you need to run uspl again. Even if the screen goes blank wait till it says your rom has been upgraded.

Thing is when i run USPL and it gets to 100%, all i get is a white blank screen and nothing happens. So i have to reset the device.
Then i try and run the BB4 etc install and get to 3% before it conks out.
When I get the white screen ... what else can i do??

Some people had to run uspl 3 times in a row for it to work. Did you wait a while on white screen before giving up? I guess you are on 02 wm5 at the moment if not flash to that and try again. If you are do a hard reset and try again - few times in a row.

OK looks like USPL doesnt work for me!
Everytime I ran it under WM5 i still had 1.25.0000 and then i upgraded ROM to O2 WM6 and now everytime I run USPL it stays at 3.04.0000.
It doesnt do anything after the white screen ..... just sits there like a duck!
With so many ppl having succesfully done this surely someone can be a Wizard of Orbit??

Had same problem. Dont reset the phone but just if you see only the black screen, run the USPL update.

I have an orbit and uspl flashed first time from wm5 and wm6 - is yours usa orbit? If you really cant run uspl then it will need cid unlock from imei check - it costs but you have permenant cid unlock so you need not worry again.

So i installed Hard SPL and i'm trying to install "SWIFTBL WWE DIAMOND ROM V5.0" but when i try to install it, it goes to the tri colour screen and then goes to the upgrading screen(?) but it gets stuck at 0 and later tells me that it's not connected to usb? can someone help me out please

Never had the prob myself but there are dozens of posts asking the same question. check modmydiamond.com. I believe there is a FAQ answering your question.

Problems updating rom...

Hey people!
I think I have a little prob. I've been trying to put a new ROM on my diamond and so I have been reading all kinds of stuff before taking any action. I've done it before, but have seen that Win 7 x64 might give some probs and so I've done the mtty steps on showthread.php?t=540290

After doing those steps my diamond only shows the normal startup screen (black background with TOUCH DIAMOND) and doesn't boot on.
Now I have the feeling that I have a wrong version of SPL installed:
DIAM110 64M
SPL-2.03.0000
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
PSOC-Diam STAGE_PVT v0x032
If so is there anything I can do or did I just brick my diamond?...

you didnt brick your phone as long as it shows a boot screen and you have a hard spl installed and can get back to the bootloader you are fine
i cant help with much, im having my own problems xD

From the looks of it, you did not successfully install a HardSPL. Search the forum to find one and install it. I use Olinex myself.

To be able to install hardspl I would need to be able to boot in to WM wouldn't I? or is there a way around that?...

I've been reading alot of things on the forum, but can't aqtually find any way to flash the hardspl to my diamond seeing it dousn't boot thru to WM and if I boot to de spl screen it doesn't seem to pickup the hardspl update.
Maybe it's also because I'm running win 7 x64. Does anybody have any tips / ideas for me... I'm a little stuck at the moment..

do you get 3 lines of numbers at the bottom right when you turn it on?
if so hold volume down and press reset,
you should get a 4 color bar screen with numbers if you have a hardspl installed
from there you can plug it into the pc and install a new hardspl or flash a new rom,
i hope this helps

plzz help me guyz...i have downloaded the hardspl thing and ive run the ruu ...it showed that the upgrade is successful...my phone got reset in sometime...but it gets stuck in the screen alignment step..the screen alignment repeats itself....the phone doest start...plzz help guyz...i m in need of u ppl

I don't think you need to use MTTY to flash hard-spl only?
habriz: Try doing a hard reset and see if it still repeats.
Did you unlock your device before trying to flash hard-spl?

@ Joebi: he's saying that the unlock was successful! when he tryed to change for another rom, this stucks on the alignement screen, so i guess he has to format his phone with task 29, i was just trying to help him....
whatever, Habriz, when you're in bootloader mode (when the screen is in colorful stripes: red, green, blue, white) is it written somewhere: <<security unlocked>> and/or <<spl-1.93.olinex>> ? if it is, your phone is unlocked!
