WM5 and Blackberry for USA?

Does WM5 come with the blackberry client?
Has anyone made the existing client work with it?
Has anyone at all gotten the existing client to work in the USA? Still no dice for me.

No dice for me either. Ended up going over to Goodlink for corporate e-mail and exchange active synch for personal mail. I abandoned Smartner Always on mail as it became so unrelaible.
As for WM 2005 and Blackberry, I can conform that neither the Wizard or the o2 version of the Universal has it yet. O2 say they will put it in a future ROM, but will not commit to a date.
Our best hope is the O2 XDA2S 1.40 ROM update, which does include the Blackberry client!! Its being pre release tested, so it has to be out soon now...please.!!..

Hi Chris, thanks for the reply. I still have no corporate email on my Blue Angel due to this issue. Personal email via IMAP works great, but I'm waiting for a "real" solution for Blackberry. Until then I just synch to Lotus Notes via the mNotes software.
Hopefully someone will come out with a client that works in the USA. It's annoying to see the "Instant Email" icon and the Blackberry logo for the current German release and know that it can't be used for anything here.

I was running the WM5.0 build but couldn't get Smartner to work with it, so I down graded back to 2003SE and use smartner 3.0 it works great on T-Mobile (USA) with Lotus.
I have tried several times to get a trial license for their Smartner 5.0 with out luck.

how can I access the addressbook from an exchange server

Hi,
is there anyone who knows how to access the addressbook on a exchange server.
I have a qtec 9090 with Helmi-C's WM5/AKU2.3 ROM.
I succesfully sync with my company's exchange server thrue activesync over wifi and gprs using certificates. Mail, contacts, appointment.
But not the general company's address book, can't use that.
any suggestions?

i did, but i don't sem to be able to connect to the exchenge server. I connect via certificates and gprs, but some how it looks as if MGCA is not aware of the certificate so not use it.
if you or someone els has expiriece with this, would be great

T-Mobile E-Mail Flatrate

Hi,
T-Mobile Germany offers an e-Mail Flatrate. They send your Mails to your phone.
Unfortunately, the configuration is sent via Configuration SMS which my phone doesn't accept. (Light goes on and off again...).
Does anyone know how to set up the P3300 manually?

wm6 windows messenger problem

i have an o2 orbit with wm6 pre installed from O2 UK
I cannot add a windows live contact to my contact list either in wlm or thru contacts...i can type the email address, but there is no response when i click Done or Cancel(everytime i have to close it using the hang up button and use the o2 manager program to terminate it).. so I used the HTC club update and updated my windows live to 10.6.32, but still no succcess(i was 10.6.28.xxx) .any solutions? thanks

[Q] Android 2.3.3 does not support Exchange Mail?

I can use sense email to connect my company exchange email on Android 2.2 based roms. But, when I update to any 2.3 rom, it does not work. Everytime, it asks me to activate the exchange security policy, and told my phone not meet the exchange server policy after I set up the Ping code.
Please help me on this issue which prevent me from moving to new sense based on 2.3.3.

I've upgraded today to 2.3.3 via OTA and Exchange connection still works.
It most certainly does not help you but at least good to know, that it should work.

I have the same problem with exchange and the security incompatible issue. Any work around to this?

It had never works for me, because of the certificats in use in my corp. Works fine with enhanced email.

in fact try this if it s the same thing that i was having
do not configure exchange via option there s no manual option just open email program and add an account from here, i was able to do it manualy

I fixed that issue in using "Touchdown" (in Android Market) and most of my colleagues in my company do it when they are connected to exchange through Android

I've got the same problem here . Any way i set the exchange account it allways ends with "connexion impossible au serveur en raison d'une erreur de sécurité" (in french in the text).
Even the net administrator doesn't know what to do.
Could it possibly be a matter of certificat ?
Can those who haven't such concern could divulge theirs specifications for exchange account ?
