XDA IIs freezes while charging

Hi, My XDA IIS freezes when i put it to charge, normally when i insert the charging plug directly into the rear port of the xda, it starts charging and when it charges completely, it halts/freezes, the only way to get it back is to soft reset.
Can anyone please help me it the solution. Oh and its on factory default o/s, wm2003se.

help Please! Blue Angel hard reset when the battery out.

i tried to open my Blue Angel's rear cover, did not do anything and put it back. then my pda lost everything like hard reset every time when i change the battery. anybody can tell me how to resolve it.

hmm... let me guess you're using WM2003?
that's because your backup battery is failing.
try to upgrade to WM6 to solve that issue.
or you could buy and install a new backup battery.

yes, i am using wm2003.but the backup battery shows 100%.

yup. we all have our batteries at 100%,
if it is on, it charges itself from the battery we put.
but our unit is old and for sure the backup battery is unpredictable.
there are only two ways you could resolve this problem.
1.) Buy and replace the backup battery
or
2.) Upgrade to WM5 or WM6... (you wont be dissapointed)

I already upgraded my Rx66 to wm6 (using Helmi's ROM)last night. but the bluetooth cannot pair with me bluetooth earphone. anybody have solutions for this kind of problem? i checked the forum long time, but did not find anything.

Artemis Dead But sometime works...?

My Artemis had a problem that goes off often automatically..But from y"day its DEAD but its getting on when I remove the battery and keep it without it for 2hours.. but it crashes soon after its getting on.. i checked for button struck's but its ok..
Tell me what would be the problem ?

How old is the phone the battery could be past it. Maybe a hard reset will help, you will lose everything stored on your handset though!!!Have installed any software recently?

unwanted resets

Hi,
Mij P3300 has the strange parameter to unexpectedly do a soft reset of the device. Sometimes once, sometimes more times a day.
What to do? I already did a hard reset.

could be a battery issue..
(lost its charge..)
buy a new battery and see if that sorts your problem..

you mentioned softreset, mine just kept turning off randomly..
(turning off - not restarting/softreset)
dont blame me if you buy a battery and its not the battery that is the problem, but that is what troubleshooting is about..
i personaly think its the battery though..

i bought brand new battery.
left device off and charged full.
fixed problem.
try it - it might work, its only £5-ebay (spare battery if its not.lol)
or could be rom - what rom are you using?

Edit solved - apparently USB brick causes charging issues??
Fixed running USB brick fix
My phone will charge when switched off. If I switch it on ... Still charges...
But if I disconnect - then reconnect charger... It wont charge.. I then have to switch off. I tried a spare battery too.
On battery status it always says charging (on USB) ... Can someone tell me if it states (on mains) when plugged into to mains usually? I can't remember ...

tried differen't ROM/ Kernel? or use RUU to restore to factory settings and see if problem persists.. if yes then you already saved yourself the time of doing so to send it to HTC

Its also using more battery ... Not changed kernel or rom but since this is a new randomly occurring problem I still doubt its software...
Never seen or read about this issue... Maybe a new phone is calling me

probably not software related.. but you never know.. could always be worth a try if you have the time.

I'll try changing rom later... Might just get a sensation instead lol

I have damaged battery cells Im losing power fast... So not sure how or when I got a USB brick but it started the same time as serious power drain! And I did nothing different ... Hmm
