Sorry wrong link, I was too fast in reading your post
Usually the autorun should run after a hardreset.
Try to unhide your extrom and start the autorun manually.

i have been trying that with the black 2.5 but it doesnt work
ill try it with a different rom

another GREAT boot image idea WM5

okay I understand that wm5 you cannot change the boot startup image yet because its in the bootstrap. But on the xda ii when I installed wm5 the boot image stayed the same because i didnt format the extended rom. In the blueangel version your supposed to format your extended rom. Lets say you didnt format it and just installed wm5... also as we all know wm5 doesnt run ext roms so you have no need to worry about it installing incompatible programs. Also maybe if it doesnt let you upgrade to wm5 with it knowing you hve an ext rom, you can always flash one on after wm5 installation. I havent tried it but I dont see how it wouldnt work. Please post your feedback...

Asus P525

Hi everyone,
i've installed in my 525 the modified ROM. Very Cool.
But now i have to sell it and i need the italian ROM.
do you know where i can download it?
Thanks
Did you find the italian ROM? I'm in the same situation and I do not know how to flash it back with italian rom. Thanks
I need to flash again the ITA ROM... I have some problems that not resolved witha Hard Reset... does anybody can help please? THANKS
I dont think Italian ROM is available for download yet.
You'll have either to wait until ASUS will release some Italian ROM upgrade, or somehow find a way to "dump" original ROM from another Italian P525.
I am afraid you've made a mistake flashing a custom ROM without figuring out the proper ways of "rolling back"
well, I didn flashed any Rom in the P525.
I installed a freeware Today plugin that crashed my system. After the installation the P525 freezed, also after a soft reset the system did not loaded properly crashing and freezing after the boot and forcing me to remove the battery everytime cause the soft reset button didnt worked correctly (I mean pressing it started the soft reset but the systme didnt load). So I decided to Hard Reset the Device but also in this case the system crashed after the calibration procedure or even during the procedure itself.
After a couple of HR and several SR now the system boot but it seems "unstable" and sometimes it freezes suddendly without a particular reason.
That's why I'm asking to flash ROM from the beginnig...it sounds strange to me but could be possible that the ROM has been changed by that plugin or some unlucky circumstances damaged in some way the ROM and this problem occurs everytime also after an HR? What can be happened?
Now I have 2 choice:
1) Looking for an ITA ROM (it's v 3.30+ phone 4.5.0 and still no upgrade from Asus even it was announced for last December!). In this case can I have access to another P525 to get the ROM in some way? If possible can someone explain the procedure?
2) Flashing an English ROM (v3.32+Phone 4.6.0).... and I'd prefer it since there has been some important fixes in the latest ENG ROM. But I'm afraid I will loose ITA T9 dictionary. If someone can help me explaining how to install other T9 dictionaries in a ENG ROM I will install the ENG ROM for sure.
Also I'd like to make some experiments with a WM6 ROM in a P525... since I want to reflash everything it could be the right moment to experiment... any suggestion?
Thanks a lot to everyone for help... I'm still novice but I'm learning a lot from your posts!

I can not remove start flash image from previous rom

Now I install new rom, Touch 3.01 but the start up display from previous still remaining. Sorry I can not remember what cooked rom with two cube. It's occure mistake during flash this rom but I re flash it again and can use it normally.
Now I try to flash many new cook rom already but it still remaining start picture. My problem is when I autorun garnin mobileXT after flash new rom. It's show that "There was an error installing.... Please make sure no ther program are running. and there is enough storage in your device's main memory.
Now I notice that radio rom still RADIO_03.07.90 eventhough I flash new rom with low version radio rom.
Please hepl me.

Your going to want a "lite" rom.
I would try CRC V13 or PDAcornerpro V23.
BS roms are faster, and have more storage, but PLEASES flash the AT&T shipped rom in my 4shared before flashing one.
And make sure you have HardSPL first.
And that you have .net framework installed, on the computer your flashing from.

All necessary programs and links required (as well as instructions) to flash Hard SPL using the SD card method...My preference, just make sure battery has more than 50% charge.
To flash a new os with the sd card method, just drop steps 5 & 6.
Cheers...
quick way to flash
just use sspl. It's a cab which runs on the device and takes you to the bootloader. No hardspl necessary

Hard SPL is a safer thing to have installed. It gives you a better chance of recovering your Hermes if something goes wrong. There are no guarantees of a successful flash, EVER. But, with Hard SPL, you have a chance at recovering your device.
SSPL is called "Soft SPL". It was developed earlier and Hard SPL came out of the hard work that SSPL was the foundation of.
Its up to the individual. Would you be the man who uses his foot to find mines, or the man with the radio controlled minesweeper robot? Your choice....
Cheers...
thanks alot everyone il give it a shot later on today

help please

just a quick question for a stupid noob, ive flashed my diamond to Gen.Y TouchFlo3Dv2.1 VGA and im loving it, its taken a while but ive got it just how i want now, if i change the radio will i have to set up all my apps again
no.....
when i run the program its a ruu and i thought that would wipe all my apps and i would have to re install my apps, but your saying no, all my programs will stay and all the reg tweaks ive made will stay untouched .
It will wipe programs from your "phone" memory, not from the "internal" memory I think. But I think that the old ones will not be visible. Settings after flashing new rom will be removed. That's my oppinion
Radio...
Flashing a radio won't touch any of your programs or settings... it's in a different part of the ROM
Flashing a Radio..

Hi Bazz..
What Benko said, short but sweet , is absolutely right.. Just use the CustomRUU.exe (flashing utility) and the radio file you want and flash as is (I have HardSPL on my phone allowing me to flash anything).. I applied the same Gen2.1 ROM (my compliments to Yozgatg for a great ROM ) not more than a week ago, tried the Radio 1.13.25.24 and then decided to go back to 1.15.25.14 (search on forums and you'll find it). I've been using that Radio for a good number or months and it's pretty reliable and good on battery (for HTC Diamond) so you might want to have a look and see what others have said about it
BTW - I flashed it as is and didn't have to re-enter any settings at all and my phone booted as normal after. If you sync your phone with your desktop PC make sure you get a sync BEFORE you upgrade just in case as it's better to be safe but like grahamkdt said I doubt you'll need it.
Yeah SRY, I ment the full rom flashing
