Blue tooth A2DP Patch 4 Universal - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Accessories

Hi all
Been readiing through the forum/site on the upgrading of ROm etc.
Q) The ROm reading on my UNiversal is at 1.30.111WWE, which seems to be higher than is mentioned for upgrading purposes. Would I then need to do any upgrade if I was to download the blue tooth a2dp patch?
Which leads me to my main qustion;
Q) Where can I get the bluetooth a2dp patch from?
WOuld anyone be able to assist?
cheers

A2DP is built into most of the new roms.
Download one of the newer roms and a2dp should just be there.

Latest ROM for PDA2K

Has anyone tested the latest ROM from the Club I-mate site ?
http://www.clubimate.com/index.asp?PageAction=PDA2K
Not quite sure whether this update supersedes the previous BT patches (#1&2) or whether I still need to download BT Patch #2.
Anyone in the know ?
gp
This ROM contains old BT stack: 1.0.0 Build 2400. After upgraiding you'll need to install BT update #2.
that is not this way, it takes the 3500 of BT

What's a quick way of finding out whether the ROM has A2DP?

I don't have Bluetooth stereo headphones, so what's the alternative quick way of finding out whether the ROM has A2DP? Does the radio version tell us something? (The latest is 1.11, I think.)
EDIT: What I've noticed so far is that all A2DP ROMs have the 1.1x Radio Stack.

No, the radio version has nothing to do with A2DP. This function is provided by the System Operating ROM that Microsoft releases.
Regarding your second statement, the only ROMs so far that I know of with A2DP and AKU2 support is QTEK's latest ROM with radio 1.09.00 and Jwright's Modified ROMs. So your theory that A2DP have radio 1.1x is wrong. Of course, you can change the radio version to whatever you want. Maybe, you got hold of a copy of the QTEK ROM bundled with radio 1.1x, but the OFFICIAL QTEK release is bundled with radio 1.09.00. It does not affect A2DP support no matter what radio version you are using anyway.
and newest dutch tmobile (which has english language)
cktlcmd: Thanks for the info. Well, I've just ordered a Jabra BT620s so I will find out which has what.
OH, and I've never tried any Qtek ROM - I've heard that the i-mate ROMs are more stable.

Universal Broadcomm Stack (Test)

Universal Broadcomm Stack (Test)
This is an earlier stage of porting Broadcomm Stack to universal device so something might not work, or not work very good...hopes that I didn't forgot something... and dont expect everything to be perfect... its still on test stage...
Tested Operation (On My AKU3.5/Crossbow):
- Headset/Handsfree (Tested With Nokia BH700)
- A2DP (Tested With My PC)
- File Transfer (Tested With Nokia phones, Desktop PC, PocketPC, HP Ipaq)
- Networking / LAN Access with my pc
- Bluetooth ActiveSync
- Bluetooth Serial Port
- Business Card Exchange (Object Push)
- Connect to internet via other Mobile Phone (BT DUN With Nokia 6165i CDMA Phone)
Untested operation:
- Bluetooth SAP Profile (Broadcom Version)
- Bluetooth PAN Profile
The instalation is quite complicated a bit, I've already talk with vijay about this,
hopes that he'll come out with app that will switch between the two stack only with soft-reset (app that will read *.ini input is enough, or read *.reg is more cool), cos My v1.1 crossbow is hv this stack built in (Dual bluetooth stack capability), u just need to activate it, so user might switch between the two stack easily with softreset only.
Instalation:
1. Install SIGN_UNIBR176.0500.CAB
2. Restart.
Uninstall:
1. Install ActivateMSBT.CAB FIRST.
2. Restart
3. Uninstal/remove Broadcomm Stack.
I need everyone to be involved with this one... any input is more then welcome... lets work together guys and make this stack better...
Get the file here:

Unsigned

UnRoute.exe are taken from superdave. Some parts of the stack is taken from Fujitsu Siemens T830, some from ASUS P525.
I still need couple of files, Anyone have T830 rom dump??
I've some work with apache device, from its configuration, it should work also with apache... I dont know, I dont hv the device..
regard,
Helmi
Lol SWEET
Read your pm just a second ago
Looks like i'm the first to dive in.
It's friday here so I'll prolly install it right away and test it over the weekend.
dips on the work dude
I tried to install it several times, but everytime I get the message 'Installation of SIGN_UNIBR176.0500.CAB was unsuccesful.'
I'd love to give it a try...
I am unable to install the SIGN_uNI cab file, I tried installing to device and storage. I'm using Helmi 3.5 rom 1.3.1.
Looks like I'm not the only one
I'm using the WM6 crossbow rom
I've tried:
Close app
disable BT
install (no success)
soft reset
flight modus on (no success)
hmm... I'll post the unsigned one...
EDIT:
check this setup.

Thank you manyfold
OK, able to install the unsigned one...Thnks
Unsigned version installs fine on my Aku 3.3 Apache. BT starts and the blue light blinks. Unfortunately, my stereo headset is in my car so I can't test it. I'm really confident it will work fine.

If it also work on my AKU3.3 for Apache then maybe I'll built in ROM in my next Apache Custom rom, thats will be cool, with ability to switch between stack, but I just can't find time to create the switching app...
Working with Sony-Ericsson HBH-DS970 (stereo) Fine! Thanks!
Thanks helmi_c, I find it super!!!
It works Perfect with i.Tech Clip R35!
Thanks Helmi
Working perfectly with VC 1.6 as well.
I know I speak for everyone with an Apache when I say that we are eagerly awaiting your next custom rom!
working with cario scala 500. Good range too, a lot better than ms stack.
Hmmm... I get an "BT Radio failed to turn on due to Insufficient driver memory available..." error on a Vanilla AKU3.5 rom (helmi's own vanilla rom). I've got nothing else installed, it's clean...
Strange, does anyone know what to do?
TIA!
hi
please can somebody post the link where can i get the ActivateMSBT.CAB
thanks so lot
regards
nusy
2marianna: download files from first post
Do we install your Bluetooth stack AS WELL AS uninstall the current MS Stack? Or is it OK to leave the MS one installed? Thanks
helmi_c
I have a ppc 6700 running your AKU 3.3. Installed the unsigned BT stack, reset. Program icons all loaded. Tried to start BT, Blue LED flashed once then I got the BTTrayCE error message "BT Radio failed to turn on due to Insufficient driver memory available..." I reset again, same thing happens again...

Help with Black 3.0.1 wm6 Rom

I recently Flashed this after having Duddys rom (With 1.41 Radio on a Cingular 8525) and when I try to use my BT Headset (Jabra BT350 and Moto H500) both buzz/whine and no audio is present either in call or from an application (Fonix Voicecommander) I tried installing the updated BT drivers that are provided optionally but nothing works, any help at all would be appreciated.

The creator of the ROM has asked that you post all questions on his site. so if you need help go there.
Plus why are u using black 3.0.1 when u should be using black shadow, or what ever it is now called.

Make Broadcom/Widcomm BT stack work on WM6.5

Does anyone know how to make the Broadcomm/Widcomm bluetooth stack work under WM6.5 (I am getting this under build 23518, and haven't tried any other versions of WM6.5, device is Asus A626 pocket pc)? I keep getting message in both the settings manager and the initial bluetooth manager about a missing component or resource. What component could it be referencing, and how can I fix it?

Define the ver of your broadcomm. Normally my old stack (original) from wm6.0 works without issues in 6.5 builds. It's 1.7.1.9701 as far as I remember

You mean - to make my stack applicable for BT MS devices? No, that does not work. It's OEM hardware driver.
