I have done the upgrade of my qtek 9090 but in middle of the process the electricity fail and my qtek stays whith scren gray and have write in dysplay serial / usb v2.06 and i cant do anything.i tried to done the upgrade again but doesen't work message says device is disconnected.

i have a Qtek 9090 (spv2000 orange) on wm2003ce 2eme edit
i make the upgrade in wma 5 by blue angel.
the pda restart with wm5 but. i have a lot of problem :
- first, i cant synchronise with activesync 4.1. it ask a password, and i have to enter my last password, juste after, it crash.
secund : the phone doesnt work. i dont know why.
i try a hard reset on it, nothing change.
please helpo me i'm in trouble. :roll:
Hi all,
after an error during a rom upgrade therefore a reset I got only serial and ver1.00 written on.
Doing the upgrade procedure (power-lamp-reset) -> usb to pc -> UpgradeUt.exe I get no connection established between pc and pda.
Unknown USB device (bold) on pc when pda restarts and should be ready for the download but no communication happened between devices.
Could you help me before I bin it ???

After executing MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe in the screens appears Serial V1.00 and I cannot make any softreset or hardreset, can anyone help me???

I wanted to update my ROM voor my Qtek 9090 T-Mobile with (BA_TMNL_14200_119_11300_Ship.exe) when it starts I have a problem with USB connection, and now my Qtek does not reboot , and when I connect via USB via hotsync I do not see that it charges and I see only grey background with the text above Serial and below V 2.05 , can someone tell me ?

Have you got any solution to your problem ? I am at the same place as yours. My PPC showing SERIAL at top & V 1.02 at bottom of the ppc screen, but there is no display light & nothing. While connecting through usb it showing USB at top of the screen without light & Battery is not charging. What should i check for.. plz advice..
Did you try removing the battery for about 15 minutes and reboot...?

I have the same problem. I updated from a universal 6.1 rar. Now om the qtek screen is only serial v 2.05. Reset does not help also reset and on/off button at the same time. What to do?
Qtek 9090 killed after update
Hi,I flashed my old Qtek 9090 and now i'm stuck on "USB" or "Serial" v2.08 screen. I guess, the PDA is alive a little bit, when placeing in the cradle "serial " turns to "USB", but nothing else happens. I tried to remove the battery even for a week, no Hard or Soft reset helps
When flashing again the program says, there is no connection with the PDA

Hi all dear masters,
I was trying to upgrade my Imate PDA2k, it was failed and now it's not booting.. In the screen, just a "SERIAL" appearing and changes to "USB" when connected to the PC... I tried to upgrade again but now, it says "COUNTRY ID ERROR N-N-12-12-12" and aborting...
Is there anything that I can do?
Any help would be appreciated..

I have the same problem
My mda compact 2 starting playing up yesterday, rebooting on its own, so I tried to install the upgrade from tmobile (ruu charmer). The upgrader stopped and my mda now has a screen that only either says serial v1.02 or usb v1.02.
I've tried rebooting it several times in several different ways without any joy, the screen just remains the same. I tried connecting to my laptop via active sync, but its like it doesn't exist anymore!
In simple terms, could someone please explain how to fix our problem.

I connect my qtek with pc. I tried to install wwe rom - from german to english. I ws downloaded english rom but cant install coz i have problem with COUNTRY ERROR -ERROR 120 atfer that i install in qtek "MaUpgradeUt_noID".exe and after that my qtek go to hell.
when i done hard reset on the screen write only: Serial and v1.00!!!!
..............qtek is dead...................

what can i do now for repair my qtek?????

Try to download "Exit Bootloader.exe" from wiki, conect the uni to USB and Run the applcation...
If you uni is death when the Bootloader is lost. I brick my Jasjar when the Bootloader was gone, dont worry Try to read more in the forum Universal WM6.

My Problem is, that i can only choose Com 1 to Com 3 in mtty 1.42 - Because of this i can't use the methode which is explained. - What i am making wrong? - I use a Sony Vaio Laptop for booting...

if you have the rom try tis out!
1.unzip the file!
2.put the rom-extended rom-radio(or whatever you need!) in this folder
3.when you'll connect the phone on the usb,on the screen you have to see "usb v1.01".
4.run the "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe"
5.wait till it will finish flashing!!
6.enjoy the new rom!!

please big help / i just try to change language on my qtek 9000 and when the phone finish. and the screen freeze. and i off it and on it .and still the display show but freezing. and it can't connect to the active sync and pc /please help
Try a soft-reset first.
If not, you may have to hard-reset. You will lose all your data and programs you've installed and it will revert to factory state (or last flashed ROM).
