Hiya everyone,
i bought a SD card on mobilefun.co.uk. As it was not working on my HTC Wizard, i sent it back to get my refund. Several emails later, in which i tried to find a solution that is satisfactory for both sides, i decided to give up.
I 60 pound on that, so be aware of mobilefun.co.uk. The problem is, that i stayed in the UK for six months and i'll be going back to germany soon. But at least, i can warn all of you buying from mobilefun!!!

I have bought from them in the past but fortunately I did not need to return anything. I've heard before that returns can be a problem with this company.

Spent a total of well over £2000+ with them in the last few months last order was 2x micro sd cards within the last 2 weeks. Had a refund done in June and had no problems dealing with Mobile Fun at all.
Customer service has always been great I think you have been unlucky.

...when I first load the ClubImate webpage, it will show Tech Support: ONLINE at the top right as usual....
..but once I log in with my username and password, It always switches to OFFLINE.... EVERY TIME!!!
...I believe iMATE has BARRED me from their tech support.....
...GREAT customer service! I have both AT&T and T-Mobile accounts, and was looking at the MDA-Compact/Magician for my second phone- but I think Ill go with another Brand for my other phone if my experience with iMate stays as it is much longer........

I suspect that the multitude of bugs that the Blue Angel devices suffer from are all the fault of HTC. Individial manufacturers do very little to the core software of the device before shipping. They add their logo's add their own sh1te,buggy software (O2 Active!) and then ship em out in a box with a sleeve & manual that makes the device look like their own.
The delays that Imate are suffering from are HTC's fault, the patch they talk of will come from HTC to Imate and from Imate to you.
The XDAIIs, MDAIII, QTEK9090, blah, blah all have the same issues.
I for one will not buy another device thats made by HTC.

I agree completely. Question is, do we as consumers/customers have any way of putting pressure on HTC to fix their problems? If so, then everyone who has a Blue Angel should be putting pressure on them, as well as the company from which it was purchased.
If not, then the only way to get anywhere is to force the 3rd parties like iMate, O2, T-Mobile, Orange, etc. to make HTC fix their problems.

To play safe, just buy from HTC authorized reseller. Why bother how much they sell and you will have worried free and no headache.
I have been searching the internet for official spare batteries for the I9100 and have not found any.
Does anyone know where to get them or if they have been released?
And just to verify, I am not interested in the cheap ebay ones.
Apparently there are some delivery issues with the spare batteries. It is quite strange that why.
Maybe there are some faulty batteries in the wild and that is why some people have bad battery drain?

I have always been frustrated not being able to charge both batteries simultaneously on my current device, or at least charge the spare battery while I'm out.
Well, it was bound to happen eventually.... I have a bad phone it seems. A long story short is the wifi radio is kicking out my carrier signal, I have a yellow burn in on the bottom left hand corner of my screen... and my headphone jack is a HUGE hassle, to get it to acknowledge any headphones... it takes me anywhere from 20 seconds to 3 minutes to get it to work.... I did all the normal stuff, but I am certain most of it is hardware related.
Has anyone dealt with this before? I am sure I am in for a world of inconvenience.... however, I am not sure where I start (handtec, HTC UK, etc).... the phone is less then a month old, ordered April 22. I spoke with HTC in the US and they said I could send it there for repair... but I would be paying the shipping to there, dealing with border delays and awaiting repair.... (which might be better then shipping to the UK).... but I have never dealt with this before, so before I do anything... I thought I would check around and see what my best options are. I live in Canada and I ordered it from handtec UK.

Well,bad luck but it is a faulty unit it seems.Why don't you contact the guys where you bought it from and ask for a return?I guess they can replace your phone with a new one and it's much more simpler (and cheaper) than to wait that much to send it to US,get it repaired,pay the shippment..etc.
I did open a support ticket at handtec, but being a weekend.... I expect to wait until monday!

Well i think this are the only solutions you have...even talk to handtec to give you a replacement,or you can talk to HTC,maybe they give you a replacement instead of repairing this one?I mean,i don't know how HTC does it but when i had a Nokia i send it to Finland and in a week they've send me a brand new one.

so the weird part of it all, my beats headphones work perfectly in other devices, each and every time.... however, if I use my apple headphones in the htc one x, it works each and every time.... makes no sense at all, it is like the design of the headphones and phone do not line up or something?!
Oh well, I also have to ship it to them, wait for them to repair and send it back.... but I still think this will be faster then dealing with the us/border delays. Anytime handtec ships me a phone, I get it in 2 days.

Yea, sure hope this wasn't a common thing. Emailed support though. I don't recall seeing anything in the description about it being a UK version.
It doesn't affect too much on the layout, but it is a bit annoying. I'll post back if/when I get a response from them.

Well, I have good news. It would seem that they are accepting returns on the webtops with a UK keyboard. The email seems like it might be just a script/automated message, but it should work.

sup guys got mine today, using it now. Didn't even notice the keyboard thing till i saw this thread.(smh..it said it on the box) look like its a common thing. other than the "@" and "2" functions being switch around everything is good. i think i'm going to stick out and don't bother trying to get a exchange plus itook the stickers of already (feel like the uk version is probably the only one they have)
Yea, that's what worries me. Also, it's not going to be exactly cheap to send a box of that size that weighs 5 lbs. I think I'm going to reply back to them to make sure I'm not going to waste time & money on getting the same thing.

update sent email requesting info on keybrd in stock. It was forwarded to someone else who replied asking what i wanted (request was in email she was forwarded, and in turn responded to me on). Final response was "We can not guarantee that the keyboard will be either US or UK". I will not do biz with these folks after dealing with them and also from reading all the probs other folks had with their service.
Yea, they gave me the same thing when I sent mine back. We can't guarantee that there are US keyboard ones in stock. Got a refund, and I don't think I will be ordering from them any time soon.
Just head to ebay or Amazon. Surely a few more dollars to guarantee a US keyboard is worth it. As for me, I'm going to hold off until webtop 3.0 comes to purchase a new one.

Oh you guys had me scared. I did end up getting a UK keyboard version, but that's just the labels on the keys. Shift + 2 still gets me @ instead of ", for example. So unless you intend to use the lapdock for learning how to type, it won't be a problem.

that's a decent price. normally about $100 with shipping. you might want to check which model they have (UK or US).
