[Q] I9100 Samsung Galaxy S II spare batteries - Galaxy S II Accessories

I have been searching the internet for official spare batteries for the I9100 and have not found any.
Does anyone know where to get them or if they have been released?
And just to verify, I am not interested in the cheap ebay ones.

Apparently there are some delivery issues with the spare batteries. It is quite strange that why.
Maybe there are some faulty batteries in the wild and that is why some people have bad battery drain?
Anyways ordered mine from Mobilefun and got this email two days ago:
"I am writing to apologise for the delay in completing the order you placed online with mobilefun.co.uk recently.
Order ID: 2229884
The following item 29442, Samsung Standard Battery - EB-F1A2GBUCSTD - is delayed with our suppliers and we have been provided with an updated time of arrival to our warehouse of Tuesday 28th June 2011. Awesome! I also ordered one of these:
http://www.exportprive.com/anymode-charging-dock-with-stand-samsung-galaxy-i9100-p-16205.html
I have always been frustrated not being able to charge both batteries simultaneously on my current device, or at least charge the spare battery while I'm out.

[BEWARE] 'Genuine' Samsung pouch/case on ebay (seller: cheapgadget) UPDATED 18-9-11

Just received one of these from this seller on eBay. On the face of it, they look like nice little slip cases with the added benefit of being genuine Samsung (according to the auction title).
However, upon opening the case, I decided to return to the seller; these are the reasons I sent to him via eBay messaging:
Major_Sarcasm on 10 Sep said:
Hi,
I'm sorry, but I'd like to return this case for the following reasons:
1. The hole cut out for the speaker is in completely the wrong place for this phone. Even if you put the phone in upside down, it's the wrong side! The hole doesn't correspond to any other piece of equipment on the device.
2. You state that the case is "Genuine Samsung" in the auction title and state the "Brand" as Samsung also. All the Samsung products that I've bought in the past have at least a card backer with the 'genuine' logo on it and a part number.
3. The auction title states that the case is made of Leather. Then in the auction text, it states 'faux leather'. It can't be both. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the 'faux leather' text or I wouldn't have bought the product.

So, the return request was approved via the eBay system & I got the following response from the seller, 'cheapgadget' along with the approval:

Nice & polite, I thought. So, I sent him the photos that are attached to this post and the following email:
Major_Sarcasm on Sun 11/09/2011 11:00 via email said:
Hi John
As requested via ebay messaging, please find attached photos of the case, packaging and my Galaxy S2 for comparison. As you can see, the speaker on the S2 is at the bottom and the hole on the case is at the other end. Without mentioning the other things that I detailed in my previous message, I didn’t put the phone in the case because I don’t think it will fit at all well and indeed will likely stretch the case. It’s also not long enough and the phone will stick out the top. I know this because the case that I have currently is damn near the same length and my phone sticks out the top of that (the reason that I was replacing it!)
This case clearly isn’t for a Galaxy S2. The picture of a dog you can see on the back of my phone is a thin sticker and adds no measurable bulk to the device.

I'm like, what? Did you even look at the pics. This case is obviously not for the SGS2. So, I sent an email back this morning:

No, it doesn’t fit the device. The speaker hole is at the wrong end. I will be returning it for refund as you’ve already approved the return on ebay. The photos were a courtesy.

I have now completed the eBay returns procedure and will be posting later today. I will update the thread if I ever get a refund. Also, I'm gonna link to this thread in the negative feedback that I give the seller
I've also just noticed that the cheeky sod has updated the auction text to include a note about the hole. See the pics below. His description of the hole is just laughable.
Edit: My amusing communications with cheap gadget are continued in post 14
Based on the position of the speaker hole, I think it's a case for the Glaxy S. The seller is just being a cheapskate and try to sell them for S2 owner
Hopefully, I'll get my money back.
Big update to OP. LOL.
Funny how "hanging accessories" is more important than hearing your fone ringing, since it's a fone after all. Smart ass
Ps: seems like your fone has the pink spot camera problem. Try downloading the camera firmware updater from samsung apps. Can't help but to notice

Always very cautious buying on eBay it's a haven for fakes/scammers and cheap items passed off as being genuine.

Wife's phone actually. My phone is in the pics. Taking pics of my phone with my phone would've been clever indeed.
Her phone is completely stock and I'm not allowed to touch it ;-)
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Nah you don't need to be clever, you can achieve this simply by bending time.
This is where I've been going wrong. I updated her SGS2's camera firmware last night. All I have to do now is retrospectively apply the pink fix to the photos above. Anyone have a spare chrono-bending appliance handy?
you know what? i have bought the same thing....it is obviously made for sgs1. i gave them negative feedback and i told them i won't send them back the case because i have no time to go to the post office. they fully refunded me and asked me to change the feedback. so i've got the money back and i forced the case with an object to make the phone fit. i think it is one of the best looking cases although it is not a genuine s2 case. could somebody post ebay links to original sgs2 cases looking like this?
They've agreed to refund me. I've returned the case.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
argh, how frustrating. i use a 'sock' for my phone, its nice as I can quickly wipe my screen when putting it in or taking it out...(i hate fingerprints)
Indeed. I never put my phone in the case that I have at the moment unless the screen is clean. My reasoning is that if it has grease on it when it goes in, it'll accumulate in the case lining. Yuck.

And indeed, I have had a refund and ebay has closed the case. Now I have a dilemma; Do I leave negative feedback and link to this thread for the world to see or give them neutral feedback and do the same or do as they ask and leave positive?
To be honest, I want to leave negative or neutral just because they've pissed me about so much over a case that's clearly not for the phone it's advertised as being for, made me wait nearly a week for a refund and I had to hassle them for it too.
Thoughts, oh wise XDA users?
Neutral.
I voided my warranty and your mum.

All orders after the 13th December will be processed/ sent after 3rd January 2012 because of company holiday.
And if you can wait with your order till 19th December I found a 10% voucher for you. Can't post links yet, but search for "fitbag gutschein mobiflip". Click on the first result.
There is also explained how you can request a stitched android on your Alcantara/clothpouch.

Okay since there are so many different pouches, the easiest will be if you guys just find the one you like with Google Translate
http://translate.google.com/transla...tbag.de/alle-fitbag-handytaschen.html&act=url
Since its only the check out that blocks for translate i'll use screenshot from here
White letters with blue background is my addition
- Type in phone model
- How many
- Add to cart
-Check out
- Check out as guest
- Next
(Still works, just click)
- Fill in details
- Next
- Normal package
- Next
- Choose Paypal
- Next
- Check off
- Check off
- Order
You'll be sent off to paypal to finish here
Nicely done.
However when i tried it a couple days ago it would not load/re direct to Paypal.
So i choose the other option..
The company then sends you your order confirmation via email and Bank details so you can then "wire" them the monies.
I have done it this way.
I will report back once i have received my fit bag to confirm that its a safe to do it this way.
Yeah paypall didnt work for me either first time but a refresh did it

I ordered this morning from amazon.de. I then emailed fitbag.de to be sure that my order was processed, and they said that it would ship sometime this week, probably within a few days. Their customer service is stunning, I don't ever think I've gotten a reply that fast to something I've submitted in a "contact us" box.
Nice guide jvvpc.

I ordered 2
One alcantara ... and One rave textiel

I ordered this premium pouch from amazon.co.uk

Case Mate Tough case doesn't fit correctly. Good results

I had bought a Case Mate Tough skin case for my phone, and it's had a lot of issues with the power button fit, it would turn off and on by touching the area anywhere near it. I looked around case-mate.com and noticed this case is not on their website, so I contacted Case Mate and they say it's a known issue, and are going to ship me a new one when they come in sometime during in the next 2-4 weeks.. Good customer relations.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting case-mate. I apologize that you are not completely satisfied with your case-mate purchase. Unfortunately, we were given a prototype Nexus phone device from Samsung that we modeled our cases from. When Samsung released the Nexus phone device to the public, they made minor changes that we were not aware of. These changes, affected the fit and function of the case. We have redesigned the case and the new cases will be available on our website in approximately one month. If you send me your shipping address, I will be more than happy to send you a replacement case at no charge. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. Sadly for me because I ordered mines directly from Case-Mate.com rather than a reseller. They provided me with a coupon that gives me 20% off but wouldn't give me a free replacement and said that the free replacement is only for people who bought the case from a reseller. HOWEVER, they did refund me for the purchase I made on the Tough Case. So pretty much, I got the case for free if I want to continue using it with the current flaws of it.
So pretty much:
buy case from reseller -> free replacement
buy case from case-mate.com -> coupon code off
They also said the revised case for the Tough Case & Pop coming out later this month will fit both GSM & CDMA models.
i sent a mail to case-mate .
The case-mate Tough for the galaxy nexus is now not available in their website :
http://www.case-mate.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Nexus-Cases/Samsung-Galaxy-Nexus-Cases.asp
Just the barely case-mate is available !!
I hope a sending of revision of this case, i bought mine from a reseller.
I don't know if they exchange it for internationnal customer?
I hope so, because it's a bad advertising for their brand...
Wait and see !!

It doesn't affect too much on the layout, but it is a bit annoying. I'll post back if/when I get a response from them.

onesaleaday has it on sale again (via Newegg.com). looks like model #9SIA0MC0B56334. can someone that has received one check the model number so that it can be confirmed if US or UK layout. Looks like the "other model 3 is 9SIA0MC0932943. I went ahead and put it on order, but might cancel if someone confirms this is not US model. I think it is not, as the latter model # is out of stock.
while trying to find out which KB this has, I found another link from 1saleaday to http://bensoutlet.com/products/motorola-lapdock-atrix-4g they also list it @ $59.99.
also I sent an email to 1saleaday asking them to confirm which KB for item on sale.
update sent email requesting info on keybrd in stock. It was forwarded to someone else who replied asking what i wanted (request was in email she was forwarded, and in turn responded to me on). Final response was "We can not guarantee that the keyboard will be either US or UK". I will not do biz with these folks after dealing with them and also from reading all the probs other folks had with their service.
Yea, they gave me the same thing when I sent mine back. We can't guarantee that there are US keyboard ones in stock. Got a refund, and I don't think I will be ordering from them any time soon.
Just head to ebay or Amazon. Surely a few more dollars to guarantee a US keyboard is worth it. As for me, I'm going to hold off until webtop 3.0 comes to purchase a new one.

Oh you guys had me scared. I did end up getting a UK keyboard version, but that's just the labels on the keys. Shift + 2 still gets me @ instead of ", for example. So unless you intend to use the lapdock for learning how to type, it won't be a problem.

I don't understand, is $60 price unusual for the lapdock? I've been keeping an eye on this amazon listing for $60.48 for the last month (waiting for birthday money to purchase it) and I have not seen the price changes.

that's a decent price. normally about $100 with shipping. you might want to check which model they have (UK or US).
