HTC Herald - computer crashed while updated ROM

Hello, my computer crashed whil i tryed to update ROM on HTC Herald. Now system is not loading, trying update it with ROM i have cause an error "Invalid Vendor ID". So i guess i need the correct ROM. Can somebody help me?
Btw, my device origin is italian. So i guess i need the italian ROM.
Or there is another way to update the ROM?

Get it into boot loader and see if you can flash it that way. I did that with my Wizard a week ago. But before that, go and look for your carrier's ROM for your device (i.e if it's from O2, grab the O2 ROM...from Qtek, grab Qtek ROM, etc).

spl dosn't change?

My spl used to be 1.11.0000 or something like that, now after a rom flash went wrong it reads 3.04.0000 and every time I use uspl utility it dosn't change. I can't update my rom to any other rom except from the one off the o2 website (wm6 update). With the spl stuck at 3.04.0000, will this be the cause of the rom update failures? this is the error i get when updating the rom, 'image file is corrupted error 207'

SPL 2.03 Problems

Hi,
I recently had my diamond return to me from HTC (screen repair) and as part of the normal process they flash the latest rom when they return the device.
Now i have the latest 2.03 rom and 2.03 SPL (did not know there was a 2.03 SPL)
Now for the problem..... I cant seem to flash to a hard SPL ie 1.24 or 1.40, i have tried them all and i have tried the manual method (no luck).
Prior to me sending off my diamond i had flashed the 1.24 spl with no issues.
I have looked all over the forum and i can't find any mention of a 2.03 SPL and i am wondering is this new SPL prevents you from flashing to any older/other SPL versions.
If any one has any ideas please help.

Yeah it is strange i had no idea there was a new one until i tried to flash and it shows spl 2.03 on the boot loader screen.
If someone knows how i can get a copy of this SPL off my device i will post it for all to look at.

ahhh interesting..... which SPL do you now have on your diamond ?

You have to use SSPL.
Just flashed HardSPL 1.24 over 2.03.

SPL-2.03

Hi,
I sent my diamond back for repairs, and when it came back it came with SPL-2.03
As a result, I can not flash RUU_Signed_1_93OliNex_HSPL_UnsignedEdition which i need to install a cooked rom from here
Anyone have any ideas what I can do?

you can't flash SPL 1.93???

My Diamond had SPL 2.03 and I managed to flash 1.93, maybe you're just doing something wrong.

I noticed there's a quite a few different new official SPL versions out there..
Can someone tell me if there's a difference in performance/battery life between hard-spl 1.40 & 1.93? I'd really appreciate it.

just run the sspl-manual from your device and try flashing HSPL after your screen becomes blank.

Boot problem

After instaling hardspl my diamond isnt loading wm its:
1. starting and showing Touch diamond logo
2. next there are showing orange letters
3. and device isnt loading OS
Do you have any idea what can i do?
(i'm before loading radio and custom ROM (it has original rom))
I can access boot loader.

which hard spl do you installed ?
are you gsm or cdma ?
look for the hard spl 1.93 from olinex working great.

I used modymydiamond.info Diamond Upgrade Guide (it is my 1 rom change).
What i should do after this?

try to install this spl, then reflash your phone with the rom you want for diamond gsm.

Can I left original radio?
