dear freinds
I have been given a XDA2 that is dead ,but can enter only usb mode.
So i tried to download 02 UK FINAL 172181-final
but gave 'country error ' 0.0.111
so i downloaded himaupgreadeeut.exe
but when i try to upgrade it says
'
Error 103 rom image not found.
please can someone advise what to do or how to fix.

OK i have manged to update this by putting the hacked version into same folder and have done a successfull rom upgrade and starts up as I MATE
But handset resets itself after 5 minutes.
i have again tried to update to the 02 UK FINAL and now it says
country error N -8-1-1-1
PLEASE help
use different upgrader
hi thee are two himaupgraders one is himaupgrateut and the other is himaupgradeut_noid this doesnt need country code etc

i reaaly feel depressed .. & that is coz when i was tring to upgrade my T_Mobile Radio to RU 6.24.00

keeping repeating restarting ..upgrading process progress for several times ...then i ting i did restart or something like that after that I think my device Died no longer working all what i could see is T)mobile start screen with the ROM vervion RT Lower Courner U above it & some letter above them without vervions #s!!! !!!.
I did reset+ON/OFF Botton pressing ... got into the WALLBAY Bootloader V5.15. then .............................. WAIT...
then i resseved the messege GSM ERROR.
I restarted same as before +on/off .
Recieved same message then Pressed RT Upper Botton got into FLASH TOOLS selected GSM ROM TO SD got the messege

We're not yet sure how to use this to dump the GSM ROM.

GSM Error, 1% failed, and battery not charge
That was what happen on my XDA too. I've been upgrade, downgrade both OS and RS roms with my XDA for about 9 mos without any trouble until last week when I tried to upgrade RS from ATT A20.10 to TMO 6.24.01, the upgrade failed and now I am stuck with 1% failed problem. Worse, the battery is not charged any more causes any further upgrade fail. I still can upgrade/downgrade the OS rom but do not know how to fix the Radio stack.
I have tried virtually all suggestion on this forum: the 4 RS files upgrade, SD nb1, nbf upgrade, repair.zip, Programme A, programme B, different OS and RS roms upgrade/downgrade. None worked.
I even opened the XDA and connected wires. Still not working.
I got this "ERROR 100: MODEL ID ERROR",... pl help
I try to upgrade XDA2 rom from "ruu172104wwe_t-mobile-uk" to "XDAII_172181_Final" and I got this error "ERROR 100: MODEL ID ERROR"
How can I slove this problem?
First I have O2 rom and I upgraded to "ruu172104wwe_t-mobile-uk", when I try to upgrade to "XDAII_172181_Final" everything look fine till the error occur I can open my O2 anymore on the screen show just message "serial v1.03"

i'm assuming you have a wallaby?
try reflashing using sd method.
dl nb1 file from kitchen
use xda-rools to write nb1 to sd
insert sd into wallaby
press pwr button and reset at same time

you are using O2 XDA2 ,right! do a "cleanjumper" , if you want update , under you use a t-mobile rom, the easy way!!
when i start the update with the qtek rom, my notebook says: " The Rom image that you are trying to use is not designed to work on your device. Please check the vender Web site and download the correct Rom update" can anybody help me??
all the time i became error 120 i used the method with MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe, but it not works, wat can i do?
Is that the Country ID error? The 120?
If it is, right after you get the error, run it again at once, it should go thru
I have a spanish vodafone v1640 and i want to change the ROM by using UNI_QTEK_13077_176_10900_WWE_Ship.exe
I have followed the steps from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=45874 but all I achieve is that error (120 incorrect country ID).
The Rom is in english but the phone is spanish, should that be a problem? I already made a backup.

hi quintus.. hmm maybe you can try to upgrade again when u get the error country id, sometimes you need to run 2 times of the upgrade so that i will be successful. just try out c if this works..

Not sure if this applies but when doing the radio ROM upgrade I also got the country ID error. I just ran it immediately again without doing anything else. Worked fine. :lol:

Country ID error....
i fixed my Vodafone V1640 today after a long and hard work
first download WM6.1 or 6.5 then get the original ROM for your
PPC in my was vf-uk_v1640_aku2_v130194_wwe_ship. extract
both to two separate folders (WIN RAR) copy the full content of
the subfolder “OutputFile” and paste in the WM6 folder, it will ask
if you will want to replace “nk.nbf” click yes. go to boot loader mode
and install…..

Hello, i recently tryed to flash a new rom on my magician and when i was flashing it the magician went down ( discovered later that i didnt fully charged the battery ... i know ... im a noob ) , now appears "No Gsm" when i turn on the pda. I can go to windows i can flash Rom + Extrom, i cant upgrade via sdflash it gives me an error " Not Allowed " what is this ? I've tryed several commands in console but no sucess. Can this be fixed whiout jtag way ? Please help me out. Regards
