Bluetooth Headset and XDA IIS - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

Hi
MY XDA has the following Config :
ROM : Asia 1.40.00 WWE
Radio : 1.13.00
Protocol: 1337.42
BT:1.0.0 build 3900
Problem Statment
I use a nokia HDW headset . When the Pda is on the headphones symbol displays right on top next to gprs icon.
But when the pda is off the blue light keeps blinking and the headset is also on, but when the call comes for 7-8 sec it rings on the pda and then the headphone icon reappears with a ? and then the call rings in the ear .
Is there something wrong I am doing ...or ......possible solution..

XDAIIs THB carkit echo problems

Hi I have an XDAIIs and a THB carkit, since installation people I call complain of severe echo. THB dealer is Australia has changed the kit without solving the problem. I have to turn the volume down to zero on the XDA and the car speaker volume to extremely low.
Does anyone know how to fix this please? I dont think the internal speakers and Microphone on the XDA are being disconnected in the cradle
Any help would be appreciated

BT driving me Crazy

Hi
I use a Nokia HDW-3 headset with the latest BT ver " 1.0.0 Build 3900 ". They are able to connect to eachother easily . There is no crackle in voice also.
But the problem starts when the phone switches off " stand by mode " , I hear two beeps in the BT Headset and then it disconnects .
If I get a call within this period the PDA rings and I see a headset with "?" in the middle and then after 5-7 seconds the headset wakes up.
This is nt a problem with HS as I have checked on a Nokia Phone..
Anyone else facing this issue....any possible solution.

Jasjar- BT Jabra 500 sound Problem

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi!
I have i mate JasJar, but there are some problems which are a bit annoying and I will ask you if you can help
Does anybody have problems using BT Jabra 500 working with Jasjar?
I cant hear any of my incoming/outgoing calls nor can I hear a ringing in BT.
Jasjar discover BT and pairing is OK ( just in case I did couple times -no luck)
when I use answer/end button on BT is dialing out but no sound on BT
on other side that I call they can hear my voice but I can't hear anything
Do I need any software to instal in jasjar ???
ROM version 1.13.53 WWE
ROM date 09\23\05
Radio version 1.03.01
Protocol version 42.36.P8
ExRom version 1.13.137 WWE
Please help me out
Thanx
I have BT 500 and have no problems, it sounds like the headset has a problem not the phone.
Also have my own and a client's Jabra 500 working successfully with o2 Xda Execs.
Stupid question I know, but you have tried increasing the volume on the headset buttons?
I did try everything , volume etc , contact jabra and try there sugestion
such as :
could be a pairing issue, or a bad speaker on the BT500. Please try a reset and re-pair of the phone and headset first:
Turn the headset off.
Plug the headset charging cord into a wall outlet.
Connect the headset to the charging cord for 5 seconds.
Disconnect the headset.
Remove the headset from the phone Bluetooth menu.
Turn the phone off.
Remove the battery (and sim card, if removable), and hold out for 5 seconds.
Re-install the battery (and sim card, if applicable) and turn the phone on, but do not touch any settings.
Turn the headset on.
Put the headset into pairing mode by pressing and holding the pairing button until you see a steady blue light. Release the button.
Perform the pairing procedure for the phone.
SIMPLY IS NOT WORKING
try with friend V3 razor and same thing
I also have the BT 500 + jasjar
It just works better than the BT 250 which was my past one.
To be honest, what I have on my jasjar is the new O2 rom upgrade (and that should not do any difference) I think there is something wrong with your jasjar
Maybe you will be forced to try the bad solution HARDREST try the headset with other phones before doing that
i beleive it's the headset that has the problem, since you tried it with another phone.
i have the bt500 with the imate jasjar and also the kjam and it's more than perfect for me, the sound is cristal clear on all the phones i tried on.
maybe you should replace it with a new one.
What I mean is not a factory mistake in the headset
I think the phoen is getting complex and some data have been lost (possible)
By the way, I haven't installed the BT headset fix, yet it works fine.

problems with bt headset

when i use my jasjar as a phone without headset (handfree) the sound is clear.
when i use it with any bt headset.....the sound is lower on my side and not clear on the other side(echo+noise).
how can i solve the problem?

Got the same problem here, you have to use the official headset

XDA IIs Stereo audio problem

Has anyone ever had anything like this problem?
I can not get my device (O2 XDA IIs) to output both channels of stereo audio.
I have upgraded the rom to what i thought was the latest (june 2005)

BT: 1.0.0 Build 3900
I have tried several different media players, from windows media player 10, sompy media, and a few others, with no change.
I have tried several different stereo headphone/earbud combinations, which have worked on other 2.5mm socketed devices, no luck.
I am dreading the possibility its a hardware issue, so asking around before i start looking for service centers.
Can anyone shed some light? or have a similar issue?
Thanks.
It's a problem.
Your device cann't output anything by earphone?
It can output only a single channel.
The right channel is fine. good volume/frequency etc.
Handsfree kits are fine, mic and earbud works no problem.
It's just when i connect a stereo headset to it, no left channel audio.
I've more or less resigned myself to buy an overly expensive pair of bluetooth headphones to get around this issue, but i wish i didn't have to.
Especially considering the mediocre bluetooth radio performance i have been reading so much about.
And what if it is a software issue of some sort that i haven't seen?
200 bucko's more down the drain.
sad panda.
if the stereo headset it came with dont do stereo
and hardreset dont have any effect
then i'd say it's an hardware issue
if the org headset works then i'd say it's the headsets you try and or the 2.5mm -> 3.5mm converters which are the issue
I have same problem, My XDA IIs has been upgraded to WM6 CE OS 5.2.1933 by Xplode. I lost my left audio also while right audio working fine at my XDA IIs Stereo Headset.
Is it the hardware problem or software problem?
I actually gave up trying to make it work.
I eventually went with a bluetooth stereo headset from sony as a work around.
Does the job.
