upgraded Qtek 2020 to WIN 2005 (ROM 1.50f) and everything worked fine.
Then I downgraded to version 2.20. Installation went normal, but after the installation and hard reset, the Qutek didn't run, but just writes the next text:
Device authentication failure. Please contact the product manufacturer. For reference, please provide your device ID.
3065782000381951 38000050bf3f5173
When I reset it, it stil writes that the operating system is still 1.50f.
I tried with another qutek to downgrade, but the the computer doesn't recognize my Qutek.
Can somebody help me with this, how should I solve this problem.
I also tried with next procedure:
1 Power Button
2 Record Button
3 Camera Button
4 Soft-reset Button with Stylus
etc. etc.
PC becomes aware of Qutek, but the installation doesn't work.
Is there any possibility to perform hard hard reset, so that it would be withouth any operating system. That it would be completly clean.

Help!! Brothers
I have tried to update my i600 to wm6 with a flashing program named "I600_WCEDownloader_v1.1_Single" and 3 update files extracted from the official update patch. I downloaded them from MoXXCo.
For the first attempt, around the end of the process, it took a quite long time without any response. I then unplug the battery for another reset... it held at the screen showing "The Ultra messaging". Then, I tried one more "flash" but the update hung up at the end also.
I have no choice but try to re-flash it with the GD1 and GA2 roms. However, during the updating "Phone" part, the phone screen shows the following messages.
[Phone] Active OFF -> Active OFF
[Phone] Reset Pin -> Low : OFF
*[PHONE] Phone Download Failed!
My phone does not have the phone function right now. I find that the Phone version is only blank in the "Version" page, but the eboot and PDA version is shown there. Is there any solution I can do to fix the problem??
I find one more thing but is not sure if it is related. if I do the reset when I go to "Settings" -> "Security" -> "Reset" , and try to hard reset the machine, it fails. Besides, I find that there are three reset options under the "internal" menu, it failed to reset the machine as well.
However, if I use the most common reset method. I switch off the machine and reset the machine by pressing "4-way navigation key UP + Power" simultaneously. After the phone prompts for reset, press 1 and then Y. The phone reset successfully.
Thank you very much!!!

Hi there
The first time that I have attempted to perform the upgrade to a cooked rom and everything has gone horribly wrong.
A reset (using the pin hole) gives a blank display. Nothing at all.
A hard reset (using pin hole and soft keys) gives the option to perform hard reset by pressing Yes. This then gives HTC logo screen and then system hangs after displaying
IPL 3.13.0001
SPL 1.11.0000
I can go into bootloader screen (pressing two side buttons) and can connect USB. When I try to install factory ROM or any cooked ROM it stops at 2% and gives me an error saying
Error 228 - Invalid File Size
Is there anything I can do to save my device?
Please help.
are you sure that you have the right factory rom?
must be the one that was on your device when you bought it!
had the same problem! flashing with original rom solved it!
Yes - this is the WM5 rom that I had orginally before upgrading to WM6.
Bricked P3300
try and remove the minisd card
that must be the cause
cheers

Bootloader is not just by pressing two buttons. Press both the buttons and make a soft-reset. When the tri-color screen appears, connect to USB and perform the ROM upgrade again. If it fails, perform the upgrade with a factory ROM. This will bring back your device to working condition.
Next time before flashing, make sure you have applied Hard SPL once.

Hello guys I hope you can help me. I have a car GPS (Unfortunately I am not allowed to publish links here but is a regular chinnese dash cam with GPS). It comes with a "board" cm84 dvp v2.1. It was working fine until one day I turned it off without knowing it was doing an Android upgrade on the back and after that it started looping while boot. So it shows the splash screen then it says that Android is upgrading - Upgrade 1 of 1 and then it just restart again. My guess is that part of the upgrades files were stored in cache and they now don't allow the GPS to boot. I know normally entering the Recovery boot via Down volume + power button I can clear cahe and even factory reset it, but the thing with this device is that it doesn't have any volume button, the only button it has is the power one so I have no idea how to access that option. Does anyone know how I can do that? Also, just in case, when I plug the device via USB to my Windows 10 laptop I see 2 units (D: and F on device manager but not on Windows Explorer.... in case there is no way to access the recovery boot because of not having a down volume button... is there any way I can just delete the cache folder content from Windows using any software? Thanks a lot in advance for any hand you can give me. I tried Coolmuster Android Eraser which detects an Unknown Android device but asks it to configure it to accept USB debugging which clearly I can't do.
Any solution?
