How to recover internal partitions? - Xiaomi Redmi 1S

I accidentally deleted some of the internal partitions from my redmi 1S including system, recovery and Tz...Can anyone please tell me how to fix it..The Phone is in hard bricked condition. Tried the EDL mode but it didn't work!

This is why it is best not to do something when you don't have a clear way to fix it.
If EDL mode doesn't work, there's not much that can be done to recover your device, unfortunately.

Redmi 1S stuck at mi logo : How to recover data?

Hi everyone,
My Redmi 1S bailed out on me and is now stuck at the boot logo. I need to recover my data, before I flash a rom onto it.
Can someone please share a way by which I can access and recover my data from the boot screen / recovery mode / fastboot screen.?
Quick update : I tried Mi Flash but my phone is not getting detected
Please help
Thanks a ton in advance.
If you have a custom recovery like TWRP, you boot to recovery and use the built in file explorer or ADB to pull files out to the memory card or otg pendrive. If you don't have TWRP installed, then boot to fastboot and install TWRP first.

LineageOS - "Soft brick" - no files

Hello,
I'm a bit lost, here is my problem:
I have an international LG G3, I switched to LineageOS from official ROM 10 days ago. Everything was working fine, until yesterday when at some point, whithout doing anything special, my phone froze as I hit the Home button.
It froze for quite some time, so I removed the battery and now I have the pleasure, each time that I start the phone to see the great LG logo that doesn't move...
My phone isn't root (didn't install the su addon) and though I can boot in TWRP recovery mode, I don't see any file and all my reboot options mention "No OS".
I tried to sideload lineage to flash the new version but it doesn't work, push neither (and I have no SD - it kept unmounting itself).
I tried to connect with LGUP to go stock, but I guess since it's not root, it isn't recognized, and I don't know how to root it as I can't access it.
So here I am, stuck, without much idea of what to do next, I would be thankful if someone knew how to fix this issue one way or the other!
EDIT: Any try to solve the issue failed as I get the same prompt : Failed to mount /xxxx, or : Unable to mount storage.
Thanks in advance!
I had the same situation like you. Your data got corrupted. There's no way to actually restore your files, at least I couldn't do that with help of my mates. All you need to do is eject your SDCard, wipe every partition and:
repeat all steps for /system, /data and /cache - select only one partition, click on Repair or Change File System and these click on Repair File System then Change File System to F2FS and immediately change it back to ext4 and Repair File System once again.
And then wipe every partition once again.
If you need more help, message me on telegram.

Hello and thanks for your message,
I tried your procedure but for each partition, I get a bunch of "Failed to mount", "Unable to wipe", "Unable to repair".
I don't care about the data, all I want is to have my phone running, I tried to "Format Data" within TWRP, doesn't work either.

have you tried restoring to Stock ROM using LG Flash Tool? as far as I know it resets all partitions so that might be the fix for you
please try once again with this TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/recovery-twrp-3-0-0-0-t3309475
maybe just try [Change File System] to ext4 again? It helped me with my data corruption

Yes, I tried with LG Flash Tool, it's the same as LGUP, in both case my phone isn't recognized (I can see my phone on my computer but it contains nothing).
I can't install this TWRP, first technique I can't find the file in my folders (though I could push it with adb), second i can't do "su".
(with the current TWRP - 3.1.1.1 - I can't change the file system)
if you have sdcard, you can put the file here and then flash recovery.img via recovery

I could now get adb to push the img on data and sdcard, but when I try to install I can't find any partition and the process fail as no partition is specified.
I did the push in recovery mode and could find the files, but when I reboot in recovery mode again, I can't find them anymore.

I tried again to FLash it with the tool, no success.
In device manager I don't see the phone, all I see on the port COM is : Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3), so I guess that's why it never find the phone, anything I can do ?

Thanks for your help,
I tried the 9008 method but it didn't work, I have now som "Kernel crash" error that I don't know how to fix and the the only thing I can do is to access some sort of Download mode (where my screen is black, not with "Firmware Update" written, so the LG Flash Tool doesn't recognize it to flash a rom).

Now I managed to flash something with this qualcomm utility (firmware files extracted from 30B KDZ, all other from 10 version were not responding) and I can have access to either:
- "Firmware Update" screen in DL mode, though I can't flash any stock ROM I found (I tried several DLL and TOT, I get "Model check fail" or some issue with the LAF: my guess is that it may be due to the fact that the recovery I managed to put is 30B and the the TOT I have is 10B so something doesn't work?);
- and on recovery mode I can access to Fastboot mode, but a not very efficient one as for some reason whenever I give a fastboot command it do much, the command run on the computer, then I get the output ". . ." in the command line, and the terminal stay in this state doing nothing...

From the device manager I either can see my phone as LG phone in DL mode, or just as some unknown device in fastboot mode.

You probably missed some steps, with flashing all the partitions, you must flash them in given order, and you must use the same kdz, 10e...try it again from scratch.
Mine g3 is still fully functional, so it's worth a try.
yeah, my phone did fully recover too. where you did you get your stock files? maybe you downloaded wrong files? I mean they're corrupted or something

Yes I followed the order, and finished with sbl1,
Now I can't do it again, I can't connect with the software as my phone is no longer 9008, so I have no idea what to do

Bootloop on Moto G5 Cedric XT1676 - Way to Save Data (Photos)?

Hello guys. I'd really appreciate any support on this - thank you for your efforts!
My Moto G5 XT1676 16 GB & 2 GB RAM (no root) is stuck in bootloop after shutdown due to low battery. Shortly before that, I got a "full storage" warning - maybe the bootloop problem has something to do with that.
Being a noob, I've read a lot in this forum and found some promising approaches, but they all failed. I know that the best way to solve this is a factory reset - but I don't want to lose the tons of photos I have on my phone.
What I've tried so far:
removed the battery for a couple of minutes, wiped cache (in bootloader) and rebooted the phone
downloaded & installed Motorola drivers, downloaded & installed ADB and fastboot
Started phone in bootloader and flashed stock firmware (without erasing user data). I've tried a couple of firmware versions (from mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/cedric/official/TEFES and also a EU version)
tried to access the phone via ADB (in order to use "pull files") - ADB says no device found, probably because "USB debugging" is inactive in the phone settings
Is there anything else I could try before I do a factory reset and lose the files on the phone?
Or maybe there is a promising way to recover files after factory reset?
Thank you very much for any advice on that!
WoKoschekk said:
Stock recovery only allows a ADB sideload connection and not a ADB device connection.
You won't be able to recover any files after a factory reset for two reasons:
1. internal storage is ext4 format and it's difficult enough to restore your data from it
2. int. storage is encrypted and can't be decrypted without the proper key, which was deleted during the factory reset

Is the bootloader unlocked?
If yes flash twrp and you can mount the phone as mtp and pull the data off to your pc
If no then you're out of luck (unlocking bootloader for first time wipes data and you'd need the phone to boot anyway to enable adb)

You can't give it a try
As stated unlocking the bootloader for the first time requires a working phone & you need to wipe the device which will defeat the object you are trying to achieve
TWRP requires an unlocked bootloader
All other methods would require root access at least & data is usually encrypted so you would need a bootable device to access it anyway without twrp
OK, got it. So no chance for saving the data on the phone before factory reset. Is there at least some hope that I can rescue some files afterwards (with Recuva or MiniTool or similar software)?

Yes, I did. But ADB doesn't detect the device (I suppose that's because USB debugging is not active in the phone settings).

Had the same thing happen to me about 6 months ago. I researched for a week. Turns out the minfree wasnt working and the device was completely full. Basically, you're MAYBE screwed. There is nothing on the device that you can do. Both accessing the memory and using Photorec isnt going to work, because the storage is encrypted. But if you didnt disable google photos, you photos might be in your google cloud, thats how i got all my photos back. You can check on photos.google.com if it was synchronized. Hope you get your photos back

Question Bricked. Stuck in TWRP (wrong Wipe)

Hello guys.
I have encountered very big problem and I need your guys help. I wipe something wrong (the problem is I forgot what I wipe, I do have some experiences with Orangefox but no to TWRP) in the TWRP and now it says
Failed to mount ´/system_ext` (Invalid argument)
Failed to mount `/product` (Invalid argument)
I tried to copy file from the computer to do recovery, not possible.
I tried to do ADB Sideload, not detected.
I tried to do Fastboot, also not detected.
Right now when I tried to go to reboot to system, it goes back to the TWRP again and again.
Maybe anyone encountered this? Or has already a solution? Can you please assist me?
Any answers or helps will be very appreciated from me. Thanks.

Are you using TWRP by Vasishoth? Those "Failed to mount" errors are related to his TWRP, no user error. Nebrassy's TWRP doesn't have those errors.
Are you using a Custom ROM or Stock ROM?
You may have accidentally wiped "/metadata". That partitions is crucial and contains the encryption key for /data, and without the encryption key /data cannot be accessed, and therefore the system can't boot.
If that's the case, you might have bad luck and need to format data, in order to boot the system again.

Oh I see. I think it his, it was twrp-aliothin, the unofficial one. I using a stock ROM and decided to move to Pixel Experience through TWRP and I stuck there. Where to format the data? Is it in the TWRP? And what do I do after that, sir?

Yup that's Asishoth's TWRP. Both Nebrassy's and Asishoth's are unofficial tho. No official TWRP yet available for Poco F3.

Yup I meant Format Data inside TWRP. It's in "Wipe". That may fix your problem, but I'm not sure...

If the answer is yes, try switching back to the stock you previously had using miflash.
Remember to select "clean all" instead of "clean all and block" otherwise the brick is insured...

Oh yes thank you. Finally it worked. At first I didn't find the menu for Bootloader Fastboot, instead the Fastboot that the TWRP provided, which makes the device undetected with Mi Flash, CMD Fastboot Devices, Xiaomi Szaki Tools, but after I found the right menu which lead me ro Bootloader Fastboot, it can detect my device again, so I properly did what you told and voila, all worked again. I'm glad it worked.
however, if you want to enter fastboot mode easily do this:
1) turn off the phone;
2) hold down the "volume - and power" keys until the word fastboot appears.

Xiaomi mi 10t pro EFS partition.

Hello all,
I have a question,
Is there anywhere where I can download stock EFS partition/memory however its called and flash it on my phone via twrp or fastboot? Or, how to reset EFS? Ive tried via twrp (went through advanced - terminal and wrote a few lines of code, did nothind), tried trough fastboot, no luck also, it says partition is write protected or something like that.
I cant find it anywhere online, and its kinda annoying seeing that your can find almost anything online these days. I would be extremely grateful for your assistance.
