Galaxy A50 Official Firmware Update List

The official firmware update list for the Galaxy A50 is available at the link below. It is a good way to track updates, especially if OTA is disabled or for those on custom ROMs wanting to follow changes being made to One UI.

Yes, it is easy to check the changelog for any device and region. You have to simply modify the URL to include the relevant model and CSC.

In the link I have provided, SM-A505F is the model and INS is the CSC.

Another quick question if I may. There appears to be three versions of CSCs for Germany in the link you posted: DTM, VD2 and DBT. My A50 has DBT as CSC. Do you happen to know the difference between these three CSCs? Many thanks once again

But, You're lucky boy. On DBT You have March updateeeee!!!

Any idea when the malaysian version will be uodated? I am still stuck on february version. Is there any way to flash Indian or Pakistan version keep in mind I have 6GB ram.

if your firmware is XME , it's a part of multi CSC OLM
so you can download :

I do not get it I am on XEO. New firmware A505FNXXU1ASC1 exists over a month old but I am still on ASBG, no OTA.

I just received my first update of 448MB which pushes my build number to A505FDDU1ASC8.
I am on XME malaysian with 6GB ram.

This morning i have been received update to March 2019 with all goodies included FP sensor sense.
There is a little better FP sensor reaction (speeder than before).

You need to flash all 4 files in one go. Home_CSC_OMC preserves the Internal Data and CSC_OMC formats the Device.

Germany is not out yet.
I'm from CZ and CZ version is out, but my phone is from Ita distribution and it is not out yet too.
We must wait few more days to release.

Nice, it's out for SIO (Slovenia), seems to be actually July security patch.

Update is avaiable for german dbt device !!!

Let's try to name the update by Security Patch Level. That is, if the date is 1 July for this point, this is an July update and not an June or August update. In this case it is irrelevant when in which region it was provided for OTA, the more important is the version. In my case, about two weeks after June, followed by the July update and the version of security I have July 1.

I'm in the UK on EE and no sign of it here but I don't think we are scheduled to receive it for a few days yet. I'm keen to try it just a little bit concerned after what happened to this update on some of flagship Samsungs.

I hated that so I use gmail to log into Samsung account and I use a different email for each device. None are used for anything but phone and that alone.

Poland, Luxembourg, Austria and France firmware is compatible with Germany (DBT) right?

Belgium with the csc : LUX

I'm getting the "Complete(Write) operation failed." error on Odin while trying to flash the firmware.
I'm using latest Samsung drivers, oem cable and my phone is a A52s (SM-A528B/DS).
Any ideas?

Just updated my A52s, OTA in the UK. No issues so far.

Currently downloading the update in the UK, A52S 5G

I noticed the update was available this morning so I downloaded it and installed. Working well with no problems so far.

Just downloaded install Android 12 on my A52 5G for t-mobile. Will have to see what all the hype is about.

Just downloaded and installed the December security upgrade in the UK

Samsung have started rolling out their 2nd Android 13 update to the international, F936B, devices with the December security patch. It is only a security patch update. CSC codes, so far, to receive this are, EUX and EUY for Europe.

It's just the November update with a December Security patch.

A newer December security patch and bugfix update has started rolling out to the international, F936B, devices in Europe, Asia, New Zealand and South America... F936BXXU1BVL7
This latest build date is now a later December one = 08 Dec: 2022

Nothing jumps out at me and Samsung's statement on the new BVL7 release sheds no more light on it...
Nevertheless, it is a very large update.

Samsung's 3rd and latest Android 13 update, BVL7, fixes 93 security vulnerabilities...
"Reportedly, this latest security patch will fix 93 security vulnerabilities which can be found in Galaxy devices."

UK: Galaxy Z Fold 4 getting second December 2022 security patch update​

I do not think I can ever recall such a swift update roll-out from Samsung.
In less than 48 hours, all of the European and Asian countries have been covered, including the carrier branded firmwares, and all of Africa, except South Africa have received this large security update. New Zealand and some of the South American countries have also received it.
It certainly looks as though Samsung are taking this large security update very seriously.

It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you. Alternatively, you can connect to the Samsung PC suite, Smart Switch and check via that.

The official Samsung changelist for update BWA2 for the international Fold4's, F936B, on their 4th Android 13 update. Simply an Android patch for January.
Compare that to the changelist for the U.S. unlocked model, F936U1, for T-Mobile (USA) that is receiving its first Android 13 update on BWA2.
