Galaxy A50 Official Firmware Update List

The official firmware update list for the Galaxy A50 is available at the link below. It is a good way to track updates, especially if OTA is disabled or for those on custom ROMs wanting to follow changes being made to One UI.

Yes, it is easy to check the changelog for any device and region. You have to simply modify the URL to include the relevant model and CSC.

In the link I have provided, SM-A505F is the model and INS is the CSC.

Another quick question if I may. There appears to be three versions of CSCs for Germany in the link you posted: DTM, VD2 and DBT. My A50 has DBT as CSC. Do you happen to know the difference between these three CSCs? Many thanks once again

But, You're lucky boy. On DBT You have March updateeeee!!!

Any idea when the malaysian version will be uodated? I am still stuck on february version. Is there any way to flash Indian or Pakistan version keep in mind I have 6GB ram.

if your firmware is XME , it's a part of multi CSC OLM
so you can download :

I do not get it I am on XEO. New firmware A505FNXXU1ASC1 exists over a month old but I am still on ASBG, no OTA.

I just received my first update of 448MB which pushes my build number to A505FDDU1ASC8.
I am on XME malaysian with 6GB ram.

This morning i have been received update to March 2019 with all goodies included FP sensor sense.
There is a little better FP sensor reaction (speeder than before).

You need to flash all 4 files in one go. Home_CSC_OMC preserves the Internal Data and CSC_OMC formats the Device.

Hello, I purchased Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G. Everything is ok, no problems etc. But unfortunately it comes with Vodafone apps and widget other bloatware. Is there way to debrand Note 10 Plus 5G? Thanks in advance.

Came with only Samsung bloat, no 3 apps at all which makes a change for them.
Would flashing the BTU firmware not work?

I'm using EE. I bought from CEX unlocked. But as I wrote come with preinstalled apps. Even after factory reset.

Updating CSC to global (GCF) cleared all carrier bloat for me, BUT IT WILL WIPE YOUR DATA IN THE PROCESS SO BACKUP FIRST.

Can you give BTU OXM firmware link for Note?

then flash with odin AP,BL CP, CSC OMC OXM, not CSC home , sim in. Back up your data first!!!

Ok I flashed firmware BTU but I dunno why it changed to XEF... :/ I have installed now OXM firmware. Vodafone stuff gone.

As you read above, I have same. But anyway better then branded vodafone firmware.
Anyway I think need Samkey tool to change CSC to BTU.

NO! Samkey tool is for unlock the phone. To change CSC you need RealTerm and combination file for your device for access factory binary .
This is how to use RealTerm to change the CSC ...,for note 9 , which i did for note 9.

This Method is not working anymore as from S10 and Note10 Flashing Combination firm is impossible. I managed to change my CSC on my Note 10+ 5G (SM-N976B) using two credits bought from eBay on SamKey.
I had the default OXM XEF France and went to BTU.
Hope this helps

With Samkey I changed to BTU/BTU/VOD. All is good now.

Activate plan on Active 2 LTE purchased from US in Canada

Hi,
I've purchased a Galaxy Active 2 LTE (unlocked, SM-R835U, Tizen 5.5.0.1) from BestBuy US and I want to use it in Canada. Bell and Telus are supporting LTE smartwatches, but I wanted the Stainless Steel Gold color which was not available in Canada. My career, Bell, has activated the plan in their network and it seems they haven't any problem with its IMEI. But when I want to add plan from my phone it says " there aren't any plans available for your watch in your country!
I talked with 3 people from Samsung customer services and stores. Some are saying it's a software problem, and some are saying the frequency is different but it's very unlikely and I didn't convince.
Any idea how can I solve this issue to get it to work? Is it possible to change the firmware to something compatible without broking Payment, BT, etc?!

I had exactly the same problem , your watch is on wrong region . I bought the watch from germany and in Greece , could not make it work , i got exacly the same message. I change the CSC to my country code and everything worked fine .

My device is an unlocked US version, I think it's unlocked for all regions. Do you think that my Carrier can do anything about it? For example may I ask them to add my IMEI to their network?
And could you please let me know where can I download the official CSC for my country and device? I just found a Korean and a XAR (US) firmware for R835. Thanks

One problem is that I have R835U not R835F, and also many of firmware links and tutorials are expired or for old version or they are for 44mm version, R825F. May I ask if you have further files or detailed instructions in that topic? Thank you

Just downloaded and installed the December security upgrade in the UK

Samsung have started rolling out their 2nd Android 13 update to the international, F936B, devices with the December security patch. It is only a security patch update. CSC codes, so far, to receive this are, EUX and EUY for Europe.

It's just the November update with a December Security patch.

Nothing jumps out at me and Samsung's statement on the new BVL7 release sheds no more light on it...
Nevertheless, it is a very large update.

Samsung's 3rd and latest Android 13 update, BVL7, fixes 93 security vulnerabilities...
"Reportedly, this latest security patch will fix 93 security vulnerabilities which can be found in Galaxy devices."

UK: Galaxy Z Fold 4 getting second December 2022 security patch update​

I do not think I can ever recall such a swift update roll-out from Samsung.
In less than 48 hours, all of the European and Asian countries have been covered, including the carrier branded firmwares, and all of Africa, except South Africa have received this large security update. New Zealand and some of the South American countries have also received it.
It certainly looks as though Samsung are taking this large security update very seriously.

General Fold4 APRIL update

Samsung's 7th Android 13 update has started to roll out for the Fold4 international devices, F936B. bringing with it the April Security patch, bug fixes and improvements.
This is a newer build to the one already received on U.S. devices, CWC9 vs CWCC as expected.
Build number = F936BXXU2CWCC
Build date = 24 March 2023
Android Security patch = 01 April 2023
Download size = 1714.09MB
Camera version = 13.1.00.32
It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you. Alternatively, you can connect to the Samsung PC suite, Smart Switch and check via that.

Thanks for info. I couldn't resist and downloaded via frija. There's only EUY version at this moment. I flashed via Odin with home csc and I kept INS csc
I don't know changelog but no change on dynamic weather Widget (it's a shame this Widget lol impossible to change size or background color since 3 months)
