I recently got a OnePlus 11 and managed to brick it already. IT only flashes partial screen when connected to power. Can not connect to laptop to fix. Can someone help me fix my OnePlus
Without telling us what you did that led up to this disaster, how can anyone help you fix this. Second we need to know what model of op11 you have to see what can be done. Third since this is ab device in bootloader mode, you could switch slot to at least have phone maybe working.

you can it only self unbrick when you can boot to fastboot and fastbootd, when the op11 only boots to edl ( look in your windows drive manager ) than you can`t unbick self

so that he can switch to the other slot with the op11 (virual from devices) he should be able to boot into fastboot (I haven't managed to boot into fastboot with my eu op11 with a key combo yet)
I'm not sure which op11 but I believe it's the Unlocked American. Events- I was bs-ing around after unlocking bootloader. I read someone said they rooted with .... they proceeded to supply boot.img, etc.. I tried to flash it and thus began My situation. It didn't work and the device wouldn't boot pass splash screen. (Bootloop) now it only blinks on bottom quarter or screen whe. Power is attached to device. But isn't recognized by laptop when connected with Original cord in any drivers.

The op11 you need init_boot.img for rooting not the boot.ing
You can it only fix with msm tool (remoute because there is no free msm solution')

Is treu you boot with kernelsu and after this you patch init_boot.img (or flash magisk to aktive slot ) and now is init boot patched . On us model (rom)
And india, china, global/eu you can direkt use the init_boot.img from full firmware pack and patch it with magsik and flash it .
Init_boot.img is the ram disc
Than the ram disc is no longer in boot.img on devices with a13

This is here for op11 and when he have flashed a patched boot.img he have bricked his devices with this (when he use magisk patched Boot.img the op11 will no longer Boot to system)
Only kernelSU works with boot.img for booting in the system (temp root) and after this you go to magisk and flash magisk to aktive slot (now is init_boot patched)
@LilBigTone
1. Before doing anything, you should know ALL details of your phone first. This includes both hardware info and software info.
2. You shouldn't flash random files you find on the internet, especially if it isn't a test device.

Have you tried holding power + volume up (or down, idk remember) while the device is starting to get into the bootloader?
I can't get into fastboot anymore (Volume Down while booting) but can get into EDL.

are you tried this method before? the thread for Kenzo
It could work with devices with unlocked bootloader but in this case we couldn´t need it; devices with unlocked bootloader can be flashed using MiFlash Tool/fastboot and eventually TWRP.
It doesn´t work in devices with locked bootloader.
Technically script sends device to EDL but like the bootloader it´s locked it refuses to boot in EDL mode and restarts in the system finally.

thanks mate for the answer!
Do not worked
Hi.
This treatment does not work for redmi note 6 pro.
In my opinion Google should make EDL mandatory on any and every phone. If I remember correctly EDL makes Snapdragon phones unbrickable. Though Xiaomi has been locking it off and using proprietory code to put authorization locks on it.
I'm guessing because it's a major vulnerability (on Kenzo, I think EDL meant you could throw any file at the phone) but the easy fix there is simply enforcing a hardcoded checksum for any incoming recovery file.
But really Google needs to make sure phones can be easily recovered by consumers from even the dodgiest bootloader flashes, botched flash memory situations, modem edits, mismatched firmware somehow flashing to the wrong phone and whatever other ways a phone can be messed up.

The instructions are already on XDA. Just Search for them
I seem to be having a horrible time rooting my 7T (purchased directly from OnePlus). I've been able to unlock bootloader, and patch an img file via Magisk.
However, the results are either getting the Qualcomm crashdump--or successfully rooting, but breaks the wifi. (Haven't tried inserting the SIM Card yet.)
Already had to use MSM tool a couple of times.
Is there a definitive guide with build versions?

Hi everybody,
yesterday I tried flashing the stock pocof3 rom back onto my phone, but since it got stuck in a bootloop at the fastboot logo. Showing the poco logo for a milisecond and then straight to fastboot..
(before this I flashed twrp and the arrowOS recovery and images a few time trying, without succes, to install this rom)
Last thing I did was flash via the mi-flash tool and did't see the "clean and lock" selection so it's also in lock state again.
I cant get adb to find the phone although the mi-flashtool is finding it.
anyone any tips?
I tried the vol up power trick, but this didn't help, keeps loading into fastboot

BAD NEWS... your Poco is bricked. You cannot flash ANYTHING using a PC when your bootloader is locked.
(I did same thing on a Mi11 5g last week and ended up selling it on eBay for spare & repairs
I tried sideload flash, miflash, copying update.zip to internal storage via ADB, and many other options - all without success).
- if your POCO is under warranty in your country (i.e. not a chinese import)... contact Xiaomi Support they can re-flash correct ROM
- Ask your local phone repair store... they *might* be able to flash original ROM back by using "Chimera" engineering software.

- Bootloader was re-locked whilst a custom ROM was in the phone.
(MIUI with Locked bootloader will not boot up where ROM is not stock or does not match the region/product code).
You cannot apply for bootoader unlock because you cannot boot up into Android and request the unlock via Developer mode.
You cannot remotely (via PC cable) flash any ROM into a Xiaomi / POCO phone whilst botloader is locked.
You are in a chicken and egg situation.,,, but if you find a way to repair your phone, please let us know how you achieved it.
Good luck!
If the system hasn't booted up yet there is a chance that you will be able to unlock bootloader again. Try it.

Connect the phone to pc and do the bootloader unlock again via the mi unlock app - you don't need to apply again and stuff as long as you're able to recognise the phone inside app correctly

Nope bootload locked = no 'remote' flashes via pc
Apparently there is an 'authenticated user' mode for Xiaomi engineers in MiFlaah and also an EDL Emergency Download Mode which you can trigger by shorting out 2 pins on the motherboard so bypass bootloader lock and flash any ROM
Neither were available options for me

I think a warranty repair claim is your best bet ... I have never read anywhere that unlocking bootloader invalidates Xiaomi warranty (Unlike Samsung and so many other brands!)
If warranty repair is re refused try a few independent repair shops
Last resort is get the back cover off the phone and short out the EDL pins
Good luck!

Well, MSM available in OnePlus service centers. And they can flash your phone remotely via TeamViewer or other similar tool. Problem is if you bought 9RT from Aliexpress, support in any other country will direct you to chinese support. Communicating with chinese representatives is difficult because they use their own social networks and messengers.
Another option is paid service from third party. Just google it, can't write direct links to paid services here.

Hi. No I haven't been able to unbrick as basically no-one has a properly working msm download tool, I've tried to unbrick with two versions of tool ( used hxd editor to change hexes in tool ) and was the same outcome stopped flashing software at 3% due to not proper communication with server as opf file requires so. Have a look in https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/edl-flash-tool-leak.4494211/ here is a bit more information. Try pressing down the volume up, down and power buttons at the same time it should lead to bootloader.

Hello brothers!
I'd like to know more about unlock bootloader, msm tool and about custom rom.
Does oneplus give us the ability to unlock the bootloader?
Is it possible to create a msm tool for it? I know that oneplus 10 pro had a problem with it...
As a oneplus 8/8 pro, 6T, op5, op3 and op1 user I always liked the fact that these were perfect phones for development. oneplus gives us such an opportunity at all now? My question is because I haven't seen it on op10pro...
I hope someone can answer these questions and we can talk about it together.

There is fastboot enhanced which doesn't save you if you hard brick and can't get into fastboot flashing mode(not stock bootloader). Chinese users say there is a flash tool but nothing has surfaced yet. A dev who was trying to make it work for a cease and desist message from oppo

Can you please tell how? My phone was stuck at EDL mode. I couldn't find any guide on how to recover and for some reason, QLMFlasherTrial was not opening in my PC. I have my phone to service centre for repair and still waiting.
Is there a link someone could share for unlocking bootloader or perhaps the payload dump method?

Hello brothers!
I'd like to know more about unlock bootloader, msm tool and about custom rom.
Does oneplus give us the ability to unlock the bootloader?
Is it possible to create a msm tool for it? I know that oneplus 10 pro had a problem with it...
As a oneplus 8/8 pro, 6T, op5, op3 and op1 user I always liked the fact that these were perfect phones for development. oneplus gives us such an opportunity at all now? My question is because I haven't seen it on op10pro...
I hope someone can answer these questions and we can talk about it together.
Best regards zelos156 aka zeusgod

Update: I went to service centre in India to fix my bricked OnePlus 11. Service centre didn't have enough software yet to fix. Also My device was the first device registered to be fixed. So I'm getting a replacement of the device.
Just fastboot flashing unlock

That didn't work when I tried. Actually I tried fastboot oem unlock. That's still the correct phrase right?
