Question I have several problems when I get to Miui 14 - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

The first thing I want to say is that I'm using Google Translate
I just updated the EU ROM MIUI 14 and I have 2 errors below.
+when I first uploaded the rom, the status bar was normal but then the status bar, the notification panel, it was completely transparent,
+When I go to Google services and some parts of the settings, it changes the background color to light brown.
I need to know if it's a ROM bug or if I've
installed something wrong, and I'll fix it.
looking forward to help from everyone..
I know the EU ROM can't update via OTAs. But on MIUI 14, I open the update section, there is a message "Choose to update via OTA or via TWRP" I also see the section Select update package in the settings section
Thank you.

When updating from android to the next android you better make factory reset to avoid confliction between the two systems.

First I thank you for your reply.
i tried factory reset but it didn't fix it.
my case is like reading mode, but i don't turn it on at all both before the upgrade and after the upgrade.
When I upgrade, I can restore previously backed up data.

Which EU version you installed is it Stable or Beta.

When this happens it is advised to install original version of miui and then flash EU one to resolve issues.
upgrading from 13.0.6 upwards shouldn't be an issue i expect you must have had something on the system which is broken before hand.

i am not good at computer, before upgrade was running miui 12.5.8 .
now i need to go back to 12.5.8 or to miui china.
if back to 12.5.8, I asked the store where I bought it and flashed the rom, it said "if back to the old version of 12.5.8, the phone may leak.
if i go to miui china, can i update myself via ota to go back to miui.eu.

wifi won't turn on

I've just experienced a collapse in my phone's functionality and I have no idea why. It is a standard HTC build without root or any other modifications like S-OFF.
I updated to Marshmallow in January and have been using it without a problem. Than, a few days ago I suddenly couldn't start the Settings app as it kept crashing. As part of this problem I also couldn't start WiFi or Bluetooth. I tried safe mode but it didn't help at all.
Eventually I decided to do a factory reset, cache wipe and removed the SD card, but this didn't fix my phone. It now doesn't start up properly, with the following messages:
Android is starting
Starting Apps
Failed to load driver. reason: unknown error (19)
It then shows lots of messages for apps that have stopped.
I haven't any idea why this happened but I think there must be some way I can fix it myself, rather than send it back to HTC. Has anyone any suggestions?

Reading all your posts actually quite confusing ... in some ROM threads you mentioned you have Verizon device but here you have a Intl GSM device.
Your second screenshot show an outdated firmware installed (the bootloader) but the third screenshot show a Marshmallow firmware installed. Which is which now ?
If the problem is based on the second screenshot ... just run the latest EU MM RUU to update the firmware and the ROM.
If the problem is based on the third screenshot ... install again the latest EU MM RUU to fix whatever problem that you have.
And you already have the latest EU MM RUU based on your first screenshot

verizon is not my first device, it's different. this is Intl GSM device.
currently Marshmallow 6.12.401.4 installed.
I installed all the ROMs and firmwares in the picture.
I install the ROM update utility method. but WiFi won't turn on. I installed many times with 0p6bimg.
When I installed the 4.4.3 RUU version is going to restart the cycle.
Sorry my bad english.

Donwload the update manually via miui site and flash it via twrp.
OTA only works on stock recovery. If you had done a quick research you would've found that.

They also need to update that twrp version.
Official is up to 3.2.1 now....
So how come last update it worked without doing it manually?
And if I want to remove TWRP, how do i do that?

Wrong OTA update and can't receive the newer one

I have a mi a2 lite with android 10 (I'm one of the lucky ones that the first android 10 update didn't break the phone) and near the end of March I received a wrong update (that was an android 10 second update for who was with android 9) and I got an error. Now I know there's a new update for android 10 users, but I can't get it because of the second update (the wrong one). How can I resolve it? Should I clear the cache of some apps? I already reboot, cleared google play services' cache but still get that wrong update.

Just read the threads. If you got the Android 10 and you're stuck with the update screen for P, you need to manually update from recovery to .04 version and then update to .05 version from the update menu, or install .05 manually from the recovery. Both .04 and .05 are linked in the specific threads and help to install them is in a separate thread with full support.
Search before you post!!!

Ok, will do but i was a bit confused since it said global but the name referring to EEA which EU..... didn't wanna brick the phone.
Also do i have to be unlocked to upgrade?
Yeah, True. EEA is EU and Mi is global. Its confusing. I guess if you try to Update manually with inbuilt Updater (three dot) the Phone will only Flash correct Roms because without open bootloader you cant switch from EU to global oder Chinese etc.
It's quite tricky because as I checked with Mi9 you can swap regions hassle free with XiaoMiTool V2. Even with locked BL. Here, with F3 I haven't checked yet because... I'm a bit scared of getting a brick :/
With stock recovery you can easy upgrade (with correct FW ofc). Go to updater app in settings, tap at MIUI12 logo few times until some text appears. Then, 3 dots and choose local file with FW and go ahead with updating. I have done it to 12.5.6 (stable beta).

There is no beta, it's only stable....if im choosing the correct FW
Apologise, I downloaded it from somewhere else where it shows as stable beta (whatever it is - they also said is stable but not fully send to users).
But yeah, go ahead with full recovery rom.

Cheers, downloading rn.
I just click the 3 dots and all should be good? I'm locked with BL also.
Thanks in advance.
Click it and check if you have option like choose update package. If not, you must tap at miui_logo as long and you see 'additional update features are on' notification.

Hey guys, might be stating the obvious but are you using WiFi and has the device got over 60% charge?
From a couple of Reddit posts: Just go to settings-apps-manage apps then tap on 3 dots and tap on show all apps then search for updater and clear all data then reboot. And, It worked for me. But before doing this you have to update the updater in settings> system apps updater.
Another user says: You just need to search that file at Download/downloaded_rom, delete the entire dir (downloaded_rom) and search for new updates again. That should work
Try those and report back...
EDIT: Another couple of options from Reddit users...: Just turn on then turn off the airplane mode and it will continue downloading.
Or, search for miui updater on Google play then open the app and start downloading the miui 13 update package, after that go to your phone's settings then about phone, in miui version tap the miui logo for a few times until additional features turn on, press the three dots on the edge, then the second option; choose update package, in this section choose the update file that you downloaded with miui updater, and after that the update will begin installing.
If none of the above works, you can update manually... Download either full recovery update or OTA from here.
Then;
How to install OTA update manually:
Choose your model in the MIUI catalog for phones or tablets, download the OTA update for it.
Move the ZIP file to your smartphone’s memory.
Open the settings, go to About phone.
Select the MIUI version tile.
Tap the button with three dots.
Tap Choose update package.
Select the downloaded ZIP file and click OK.
